Installation
Note:
- Hard drives are sensitive to static electricity and must be handled properly to prevent data loss. Always handle your hard drive with caution: wear an anti-static strap, such as the Tripp Lite P999-000, when transporting it, or touch a grounded metal surface to discharge yourself of static electricity before picking up the drive.
- If your SATA hard drive has not been formatted, you will first need to format it using your computer’s Disk Management utility.
- Before unplugging the adapter, make sure to properly eject the drive from your computer to avoid any potential data loss.
- Connect the built-in USB-A or USB-C plug on the device to the USB-A or USB-C port on your laptop, tablet, or computer.
- Insert a CFast Memory Card into the appropriate port on the device.
- Insert a SATA drive into the appropriate port on the device. Take care to keep the drive at a low angle to minimize stress on the connector.
- Your device is ready for use. Please note, when individually connected, a blue LED will illuminate when the CFast card is recognized, while a red LED will illuminate when the SATA drive is recognized. Both blue and red LEDs will illuminate when ports are used simultaneously.

3-Year Limited Warranty
TRIPP LITE warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of initial purchase. TRIPP LITE’s obligation under this warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole option) any such defective products. To obtain service under this warranty, you must obtain a Returned Material Authorization (RMA) number from TRIPP LITE or an authorized TRIPP LITE service center. Products must be returned to TRIPP LITE or an authorized TRIPP LITE service center with transportation charges prepaid and must be accompanied by a brief description of the problem encountered and proof of date and place of purchase. This warranty does not apply to equipment that has been damaged by accident, negligence, or misapplication or has been altered or modified in any way.
EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, TRIPP LITE MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
