Installation

Safety Tips

• To obtain full use of the cabinet, the cabinets including the following models:

• Position on a flat, stable surface.

• A service agent/qualified technician should carry out installation and any repairs if required. Do not remove any components or service panels on this product.

• DO NOT use jet/pressure washers to clean the appliance.

Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your dealer immediately WITHIN 24 HOURS.

Installation

Note: If the unit has not been stored or moved in an upright position, let it stand upright for approximately 4 hours before operation. If in doubt allow to stand.

1. Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that all protective plastic film and coatings are thoroughly removed from all surfaces. (include foam board between back condenser and box body).
2. Ensure the polystyrene packaging block is removed from behind the Black wire condenser mounted on the rear of the cabinet
3. Maintain a distance of 20cm (7 inches) between the unit and walls or other objects for ventilation. Increase this distance if the obstacle is a heat source.
   • Note: Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the shelves and interior with mild soapy water and dry thoroughly.
4. Set the brakes on the castors to keep the appliance in position OR
   Level the appliance by adjusting the screw feet. The cabinet is supplied with legs, these can be adjusted. See below:

Door reversal: the door can be changed to left hand hinging by using the nylon plate which is included with the user instructions. Tilt the Empty cabinet on its back, remove the lower door hinge bracket. Open the door slightly and withdraw the door from the upper hinge pin. Remove top control panel and swap the upper hinge pin to the left hand side, invert the door and swap over the hinge inserts on the door fit the left hand nylon plate, relocate lower hinge pin on the lower hinge bracket and refit the door, check door alignment & locking.

Fitting the Shelves

1. Slide the shelf into guide on either side of the cabinet at the desired height.
2. Repeat for the remaining shelves.

NOTE! Freezer models: shelves are fixed and cannot be adjusted
Note: This is vital for ensuring correct drainage of condensation.

Operation

Storing Food
To get the best results from your appliance, follow these instructions:

• Only store pre-chilled foodstuffs in the appliance when it has reached the correct operating temperature.
• Do not place hot food or liquid inside the appliance.
• Wrap or cover food where possible.
• Do not obstruct the fans / sensor inside the appliance.
• Do not overload the unit, allow space for air circulation inside the storage area.
• Avoid opening the doors for prolonged periods of time.

Turn On

1. Close the door(s) of the appliance.
2. Ensure the power switch is set to [О] and turn on at the socket.Switch on the Power [|]. The current temperature within the appliance is displayed.

WARNING! Never move the appliance during use.

The thermostat has been pre-set and in most case it is not necessary to adjust the settings. When turning on the cabinet the display will show the current temperature in the cabinet.

Display set temperature

Press this key and the display will show the set temperature. Press the Key again to return to normal reading. Set new temperature:
Press this Key and the display shows the set temperature.
Prss this key to increase the set temperature.
Pres this key to lower the set temperature.
Press this key to save the new settings. The display will flash with the new value and will then return to normal reading.

Alarm codes:
PF1 Flashing in the display: indicates that the cabinet sensors is defective.
The cabinet will strive to keep the set temperature until it has been repaired. PF1 Flashing in the display: indicates that the cabinet sensors is defective.

This does not influence the operation of the cabinet, but should be repaired as soon as possible.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance

• Switch off and disconnect from the power supply before cleaning.
• Clean the interior of the appliance as often as possible.
• Freezer models will need switching off to manually defrost when ice builds up to 5mm thick on the shelves.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents / sanitizer sprays. These can leave harmful residues.
• Clean the door seal with water only.
• Always wipe dry after cleaning.
• Do not allow water used in cleaning to run through the drain hole into the evaporation pan.
• Take care when cleaning the rear of the appliance. Sharp edges can cut.
• If the unit is to be switched off for prolonged periods, leave the door ajar to allow to dry out thoroughly.
• An agent or qualified technician must carry out repairs if require.

Cleaning the Condenser

Periodically cleaning the condenser can extend the life of the appliance.
We recommend that your agent or qualified technician clean the condenser

Electrical Wiring

Appliance are supplied with a 3 pin, moulded, BS1363 plug and lead, with a 13 amp fuse as standard. The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket. Appliances are wired as follows:

Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L

• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E

All appliances must be earthed, using a dedicated earthing circuit. If in doubt consult a qualified electrician. Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

• ONLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS SHALL CARRY OUT THE EXTRAORDINARY MAINTENANCE INTERVENTIONS.

Disposal of packaging

• All packaging materials should be disposed of in an environmentally friendly way.
• The cardboard may be used as scrap paper. The protective foil and the foam cushions are CFC-free. Do not allow children to play with the packaging and destroy plastic bags safely.
• You can break or cut the cardboard into smaller pieces and give to a waste paper disposal service.
