Product Information

The Hombli Smart Pathway Lights are designed to light up pathways and create a safer environment around the house. They can also be used to set the right mood at nighttime. The lights can be controlled through the Hombli app and can be paired with voice
assistants such as Google, Alexa, and Siri. The lights come with extension cables, soil pins, connector cables, and an adapter.

Product Usage Instructions

Installing the Smart Pathway Lights

1. Connect the Pathway Lights to the extension cables. Make sure to twist the ends of the connectors to ensure they are waterproof.
2. Connect all the extension cables to each other.
3. Connect one end of the extension cables to the power adapter cable.
4. Connect the connector cap to the other end of the extension cables.
5. Attach the soil pins to the Pathway Lights using the included screws. Ensure that the cable strain relief is properly fixed in the soil pin.
6. Put the Pathway Lights in the ground, making sure that the plug can reach the socket. Optional extension cables of 2m and 5m are available.
7. Connect the power adapter to the socket.
8. The Pathway Lights will start blinking. You can start pairing by holding the power button to reset the lights until they start blinking if they don’t automatically enter pairing mode.

Pairing the Smart Pathway Light to the Hombli app

The Smart Pathway Light can be paired in two ways:

1. Directly through Bluetooth: Open the Hombli app, go to the device pairing section, and follow the on-screen instructions to pair the light.
2. Via the Hombli Smart Bluetooth Bridge: Connect the Smart Bluetooth Bridge to the app, then follow the app’s instructions to pair the light. This method allows you to control the light from anywhere and use voice assistants like Google, Alexa, and Siri.

Installing the Smart Pathway Lights

Follow the next step to install your new Smart Pathway Lights.

1. Connect the Pathway Lights to the extension cables.

Note: make sure you twist the ends of the connectors to ensure the connectors are waterproof

2. Connect all the extension cables to each other.

3. Connect one end of the extension cables to the power adapter cable
   

4. Connect the connector cap to the other end of the extension cables.

5. Attach the soil pins to Pathway Lights. Use the included screws to fix the soil pin in place

6. Put the Pathway Lights in the ground.
   Note: Check if the plug can reach the socket. Optional extension cables of 2m and 5m are available

7. Connect the power adapter to the socket.

8. The Pathway Lights will start blinking. You can start pairing
   Note: if the Pathway Light does not automatically start in pairing mode, you can hold the power button to reset the Pathway Lights until it starts blinking

Pairing the Smart Pathway Light to the Hombli app

The Smart Pathway Light can be paired in two ways to the Hombli app: directly through Bluetooth or via the Hombli Smart Bluetooth Bridge. If you pair the Smart Pathway Light to the Smart Bluetooth Bridge, you will also be able to control the light from anywhere, creating automated scenarios and use voice assistants such as Google, Alexa and Siri.

Pairing with the Hombli Smart Bluetooth Bridge
Make sure you have installed the Hombli app and the Hombli Smart Bluetooth Bridge before pairing the Smart Pathway Light via this method. Please refer to the manual of the Smart Bluetooth Bridge for instructions. If the Bluetooth Bridge has been installed, follow the next steps to complete the pairing.

1. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone

2. Open the Hombli app and select the Bluetooth Bridge

3. Tap “Search new device” to add the Pathway Light

4. Follow the instructions in the app

Pairing without the Hombli Smart Bluetooth Bridge
If this is your first time installing a Hombli product, please follow all steps below to pair your Smart Pathway Light to the Hombli app without the Bluetooth Bridge. Are you already familiar with Hombli and the app? Then you may skip steps 1 to 3.

1. Download the Hombli App

2. Create an account and log in

3. Create a family

4. Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone

5. Tap “Add Device” or “+” and select the Smart Pathway Light from the Outdoor category

6. Tap “Continue without Bridge”

7. Follow the instructions in the app

Connecting to Google, Alexa and Siri Shortcuts

The Smart Pathway Light is compatible with Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Siri Shortcuts. Check our installation guides and instructional videos on our website to learn how to connect them.

NOTE: connection to Google, Alexa and Siri are only possible if the Smart Pathway Light is connected with the Hombli app through a Smart Bluetooth Bridge.

Setting up Smart Scenarios

Smart Scenarios is a great way to automate your new Smart Pathway Light (and other Hombli devices).
For example, turning on the light when you arrive home or automatically when the sun has set. Find a step by step guide (in English) at hombli.com/blog /how-to-make-smart-scenarios/.
NOTE: Smart Scenarios are only possible if the Smart Pathway Light is connected with the Hombli app through a Smart Bluetooth Bridge.

Setting up a Group

If you have set up multiple Smart Pathway Light, you can control them individually, but also as a group.
After pairing all of your Smart Pathway Lights, follow these steps to set up a group..

1. Open the Hombli App and select one of the Pathway Lights

2. Tap the pencil icon and select “Create Group”

3. Add the Pathway Lights to the group and tap “Save”

4. Choose a groupname and select “Save”

5. The group will show up on the home screen as a new device
