We are glad you chose the Hombli Smart Water Controller! This device takes care of your garden’s water needs while you relax. Use the Hombli app to easily set watering schedules, timers, or check water usage. In this manual you will find a clear explanation of the steps you need to follow to successfully install your Smart Water controller. Need extra help? Then have a look at our support section or contact customer support.

Follow the steps below in order to successfully install the Smart Water Controller and Smart Gateway. Some steps are optional.

1. Connect the Smart Gateway to the app

Follow the steps below to connect the Smart Water Controller to the Hombli app and your Wi-Fi network.

1.1 Download the Hombli App

1.2 Create an account and log in

1.3 Create a family

1.4 Add a new product

1.5 Select the Smart Gateway from the Outdoor category

1.6 Select the correct Wi-Fi network and enter the password.

1.7 Plug the Gateway into an electrical outlet and tap continue when the

LED indicator flashes rapidly.

1.8 Continue to the next screen. The Smart Gateway will stop flashing to

confirm it has been paired and is ready for use.

2. Pair the Smart Water Controller

Follow these steps to connect the Smart Water Controller to the Hombli app and your Wi-Fi network.

2.1 After adding the Gateway, a screen opens to pair the Smart Water

Controller. Tap the button to continue.

2.2 Insert 4x AA batteries, and the LED on the Smart Water Controller

starts flashing rapidly

Note: Is the LED not flashing rapidly? Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds Remarque :

2.3 Start searching for devices. Please hold the Smart Water Controller

close to the Smart Gateway for the best result.

Note: Want to reset the device? Follow the steps below:

• Remove the batteries
• While holding the main button, insert the batteries again
• The indicator will light up in red to indicate it has restored factory settings
• The Smart Water Controller can now be connected to a new Smart Gateway

3. Connect to a water tap

Follow the steps below to attach the Smart Water Controller to your water tap.

Note: This device is compatible with G1” (33.3mm) and G3/4” (26.5mm) threads

3.1 Screw the Smart Water Controller to the water tap with the thread

3.2 Screw the water hose to the Smart Water Controller

4. Using the app

5. Setting watering schedules

Follow the steps below to set your own watering schedule

5.1 Set a start time for the watering schedule

5.2 Set the duration of the schedule

5.3 Select the repeat days

5.4 Choose between Continuous to run water continuously or Pulse to run

water with short breaks to give the soil time to absorb and save water

6. Connect to Google and Alexa

The Smart Water Controller is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa speakers. Check out our installation guides and instruction videos to learn how to connect them.

7. Inspiration

• Max water flow is 35 L/min
