Product Information
The TR220-WiFi Thermostat is a smart thermostat that allows you to control your home’s temperature remotely using your iPhone or Android phone. It requires the Hi Thermostat app for iPhone or the Temp Control app for Android to connect and control the thermostat. The thermostat connects to your home’s WiFi network, allowing you to access and adjust the temperature settings from anywhere.

Product Usage Instructions
For iPhone:
- Go to the App Store and download the Hi Thermostat app. Install the app on your iPhone.
- Create an account using your email address and sign in to the app.
- Ensure that your iPhone is connected to your WiFi network.
- Place your phone, thermostat, and WiFi router close to each other.
- On your thermostat, press the power button to turn it off.
- Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until “REF” appears on the screen.
- Wait for a few seconds until the WiFi symbol starts flashing.
- In the Hi Thermostat app, touch the “+” button on the top right corner of your phone to add a new device.
- Enter your WiFi details, ensuring that you select the correct network and enter the correct password. Press “Confirm”.
- Press “Connect” and then press “Join” when prompted to join the device’s WiFi hotspot named “XPG-GAgent-xxxx”.
- Press “Join” again to connect your phone back to your original WiFi network. The connection process will be automatically completed, and your thermostat will be accessible via the app.
If your phone is unable to join the device’s WiFi hotspot automatically, follow these additional troubleshooting steps:
- In Step 9, go to your phone’s Settings – WLAN before pressing “Connect”.
- Connect your phone to the device’s WiFi hotspot named “XPG-GAgent-xxxx”.
- Once connected, return to the Hi Thermostat app and follow Step 9 above.
For Android Phone:
- Go to Google Play and download the Temp Control app. Install the app on your Android phone.
- Create an account using your email address and sign in to the app.
- Ensure that your Android phone is connected to your WiFi network.
- Place your phone, thermostat, and WiFi router close to each other.
- On your thermostat, press the power button to turn it off.
- Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until “REF” appears on the screen.
- Wait for a few seconds until the WiFi symbol starts flashing.
- In the Temp Control app, touch the “+” button on the top right corner of your phone to add a new device.
- Enter your WiFi details, ensuring that you select the correct network and enter the correct password. Press “Confirm”.
- Press “Connect” and then press “Go to connect”.
- Your phone will automatically go to the WLAN settings page.
- Connect your phone to the device’s WiFi hotspot named “XPG-GAgent-xxxx”.
- Once connected, return to the Temp Control app, and the connection process will be automatically completed. Your thermostat will be accessible via the app.
Sharing Your WiFi Thermostat:
- In the app, touch the edit/pencil button on the top right corner.
- Click on “Sharing device”.
- Scan the QR code on the phone of the person you want to share the device with.
Get ready for connection
Go to the App Store, download “Hi Thermostat” app and install it.Then create an account with your email address and sign in. Ensure you are connected to your WiFi network, keep your phone, your thermostat, and your WiFi router as close as possible.
- On your thermostat, press the power button to turn your thermostat off.
- Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds until you see REF on screen. Wait for a few seconds until the wifi symbol is flashing.
Step 1
- Touch “+” on the top right corner of your phone to add a new device;
- Enter your WiFi details. Please ensure you have selected the correct WiFi network and the password you enter is correct. Then press “Confirm”.
Step 2
- Press “Connect”.
- Press “Join” as your phone wants to join device’s WiFi hotspot named XPG-GAgent-xxxx;
- Press “Join” as your phone needs to go back to your original WiFi network. The connection process is automatically completed. Now your thermostat is
accessible via the app.
Troubleshooting
Some phones might not be able to join device’s WiFi hotspot automatically. In this case, please do it manually. Follow the steps below:
- In Step 2, before pressing “Connect”,please go to your phone’s Settings – WLAN.
- Connect your phone to device’s WiFi hotspot named XPG-GAgent-xxxx;
- Once connected to XPG-GAgent-xxxx, return back to the thermostat app and follow Step 2 above.
Get ready for connection
Go to Google Play, download “Temp Control” app and install it.Then create an

WiFi network, keep your phone, your thermostat, and your WiFi router as close
as possible.

- Now your phone automatically goes to WLAN settings page.
- Connect your phone to device’s WiFi hotspot named XPG-GAgent-xxxx;
- Once connected to XPG-GAgent-xxxx, return back to the thermostat App and the connection process will automatically be completed. Now your thermostat is accessible via the app.
Step 1
