- Ensure clearances to combustibles are maintained during installation.
- Construct a platform if installing the appliance off the floor, following local building codes.
- Adjust framing dimensions for interior sheathing (such as 1/2 drywall).
- Provide clearance from the top edge of the opening to the bottom of the appliance, which should be 33-15/16.
- Ensure the vent framing hole is not packed with insulation or other materials.
- Follow the instructions accompanying the product strictly to avoid the risk of fire and potential injury.
