Product Usage Instructions
- Place the kettle on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface away from surfaces that may be damaged by steam.
- Fully unwind the cable and plug it in. Ensure that the cable does not dangle over the edge of units for safety.
- To fill the kettle, remove it from the stand and open the lid by pressing on the lid button. Fill it to the required level using the graduated markings on the clear panel as a guide. Do not exceed the maximum (1.7 litre / 7 cups) or go below the minimum (0.5 litre / 2 cups) level.
- Close the lid fully (it should click as it closes) and make sure that the switch is in the off position (lift switch up) before placing the kettle back on the stand.
- Position the kettle so that the spout faces away from you, then switch on the kettle by pressing the switch downwards. The kettle will start operating and the blue power indicator lamp in the switch will illuminate.
- Once the water boils, the kettle will automatically switch off and the lights will go off.
- To stop or interrupt the boiling process, lift the switch up to switch off the appliance before removing the kettle from the stand.
Cleaning Instructions
- Switch off and unplug the kettle, allowing it to cool completely.
- Press the lid button to open the lid and press the filter down with both hands in the inclined direction as shown in Fig. 1.
- Clean the filter under a running tap while gently brushing with a soft nylon brush to remove scale.
- Descaling can be done using a proprietary descaler suitable for kettles, following the instructions on the pack. Alternatively, half fill the kettle with water and add the juice of one lemon. Boil the kettle and let it stand for 15 minutes. Repeat this step two more times before discarding the solution.
- After descaling, fill the kettle to the maximum level, bring it to a boil, and then discard the water.
- Refit the filter by aligning the groove of the filter to fit the hook in the kettle spout (Fig. 2). Push the filter towards it to fit the two clips (Fig. 3).
- Wipe external surfaces with a soft damp cloth. Do not use detergents or abrasives as they may scratch the surface.

- Do not operate the appliance if damaged or after it malfunctions.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

TO USE
- Place the kettle on a stable, flat, heat resistant surface and away from surfaces that may be damaged by steam.
- Fully unwind the cable and plug in. For safety do not allow the cable to dangle over the edge of units.
- Remove the kettle from the stand; open the lid by pressing on the lid button. Fill to the required level using the graduated markings on the clear panel as a guide. Do not fill past the maximum (1.7 litre / 7 cups) or below the minimum (0.5 litre / 2 cups) level.
- Close the lid fully (it clicks as it closes) and ensure that the switch is in the off position (lift switch up) before replacing on the stand.
- Turn the kettle so that the spout faces away from you and switch the kettle on by pressing the switch downwards. The kettle will start to operate and the blue power indicator lamp in the switch will illuminate.
- When the water boils, the kettle will switch off automatically and the lights will go off.
- To stop or interrupt the boiling process, switch the appliance off by lifting the switch up before removing the kettle from the stand.
Notes :
- Before using for the first time, fill the kettle to the maximum level, bring to the boil and then discard water. Repeat this step one further time.
- This kettle is fitted with a safety device that automatically switches off the heater element if the appliance is inadvertently switched on when empty or if it boils dry. In this case allow the kettle to cool completely (minimum 15 minutes) before refilling with cold water. The kettle will resume operation after refilling.
CLEANING
To maximize the efficiency of the kettle, clean and descale it regularly.
- Switch off, unplug the kettle and allow it to cool completely.
