Product Information

The Outdoor Mechanical Yard Stake Timer is designed to provide a convenient way to control the outdoor lighting in your yard. It is equipped with a mechanical timer that allows you to set specific on and off times for your lights. Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before operating the Outdoor Mechanical Yard Stake Timer, carefully read and understand all instructions provided in the user manual.
  2. Ensure that you have properly attached the yard stake timer to a suitable power source.
  3. Set the current time on the timer by using the buttons or dials provided. Ensure that it is accurate.
  4. Set the desired on and off times for your outdoor lights by using the timer controls. The timer may have buttons, dials, or switches for this purpose.
  5. Double-check your settings to ensure they match your desired lighting schedule.
  6. Plug your outdoor lights into the yard stake timer’s outlets.
  7. Once everything is properly set up, turn on the power supply to activate the timer.
  8. The timer will now automatically control the on and off times of your outdoor lights based on the settings you have configured.
  9. If you need to make any changes to the timer settings, refer to the user manual for instructions on how to do so.

Warning

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or personal injury, please strictly follow the instructions.

  1. Do not connect any devices which exceed the maximum ratings of the timer.
  2. Do not immerse in water.
  3. Children are not allowed to use the timer without supervision.
  4. Do not disassemble or repair the product, but only by authorized service personnel.
  5. Always unplug and store indoors when not in use.
  6. To prevent children suffocation and chocking, keep them away from packaging materials.

Installation

As shown in the figure, connect the three sections together. Be sure to firmly tighten the stake to the body before installing into the ground.
Tips: If the ground is too hard to insert the stake, digging a hole that matches the stake with a hard object will be perfect.

Operating Instructions

  1. Press the overload protection switch to the “I” position

  2. Set the current time: Tum dial clockwise until the arrow indicates to current time. White semicircle stands for 7 am – 6 pm and black semicircle stands for 7 pm- 6 am.

  3. Begin with all pins pulled up. Push the pins down for the periods of time you want the timer to be ON. Pins in down position represent ON and up position represents OFF, shown as picture.
    Note: Pins indicated by the arrow can not be pressed down, rotate the dial to make it work.

  4. Push the “ON / TIMER” switch to “TIMER” position and plug the stake timer into the wall socket. You may override operation of the timer by setting the switch to “ON” position. The power supply will always be ON. Be sure to set switch back to the “TIMER” for proper timer function.

  5. Plug your electrical device directly into the timer. Make sure the device is in ON state so the timer can control it to work properly.

  6. If blackout, reset the time as indicated above.

Overload Protection
The unit has a reset function for overload protection. If the power turns off unexpectedly, please unplug all devices, press the power switch (resets device) and reconnect devices.

Caution

  1. Risk of Fire. Not for permanent installation. Use only with outdoor equipment, Christmas tree, or other seasonal decorative-lighting products having a total of 13Ampere maximum. Do not install or use this product for more than a 90-day period.
  2. If using Christmas tree or decorative – lighting products that are not marked with an ampere rating, connect no more than 140 screw-base lamps (C7 or C9) or 12 strings with midget (push-in) lamps to this cord set.
  3. Cord sets shall be plugged into a GFCI-protected receptacle.
  4. If using an outdoor-use cord set for an extended period of time (greater than 90 days) please consider hard-wiring a permanent outdoor-use receptacle rated for year-round use in the area where power is needed. Please contact a licensed electrician for proper installation of permanent wiring.
  5. After completion of installation, the connector shall be maintained a minimum of 6 inches above ground.
