Product Usage Instructions
- Commissioning:
- Position the product by fixing it to the wall using nuts and washers.
- Ensure that the terminal block is properly located in the recess in the wall back.
- The light is now ready for use.
- Fitting/Replacing Bulbs:
- When changing a bulb, always switch off the mains power and allow the bulb to cool before handling.
- Do not dispose of used bulbs with household waste; please recycle them where facilities exist.
- Use the correct type and wattage bulb. The maximum recommended bulb wattage is 40W E27 GLS.
- To fit a new bulb, insert it into the fitting and twist it clockwise to secure.
- Cleaning:
- We recommend cleaning the product with a soft dry cloth.
- Avoid using solvents, liquids, or abrasive cleaners as they may damage the finish and the product.
- Recycling Advice:
- Do not dispose of waste electrical products with household waste; please recycle them where facilities exist.
- Check with your local authority or retailer for recyclingadvice.
- Safety Information:
- Always switch off the power supply before changing lightbulbs or cleaning for your safety.

Layout
- Plan the desired layout of this fitting carefully, ensuring the cables will reach the distance between the junction box and the light fitting
- Avoid locating any cables in positions that would cause a hazard. Position cables and junction boxes (not supplied) away from areas where they may be at risk from being cut, trapped or damaged Mount out of arms reach.
- Cables in walls must be protected using suitable conduit or plastic trunking.
- The mains supply cable must have a minimum cross sectional area of 1.0mm?
Installation
Existing fittings must be completely removed before installation of a new product. Before removing the existing fitting, carefully note the position of each set of wires.
- Hold the product in place and mark the location of the fixing holes. Ensure that the product is level.
- Ensure the wall is capable of holding the weight of the product. Take care to avoid damaging any concealed wiring and pipes. The correct fixings should be used for brick, cavity walls or plasterboard.
- Using the supplied screws, screw into the wall until the collar just touches.
- Wire as detailed below.
Wiring
- This unit is double insulated and must not be earthed. If there are any incoming earth cables, they must be joined together and well insulated with good quality insulation tape. This is to ensure earth continuity throughout your property.
- Having correctly identified the wiring from your existing light fitting and connect to the connection block inside the product in the following way:
Check that…
- You have correctly identified the wires.
- The connections are tight.
- No loose strands have been left out of the connection block.
Commissioning
- Ensure that the terminal block cover is clipped back into position.
- Line the product up with the screws in the wall.
- Ensure that the terminal block is properly located in the recess in the wall back.
- Gently slide the product into position. Using the domenuts and washers fix to the wall.
- Replace fuse or circuit breaker and switch on. Your light is now ready for use.
Fitting/replacing bulbs
- When changing a bulb, always swith off at the mains and allow the bulb to cool before handling. Used bulbs should not be disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist.
- Do not exceed the wattage stated or use a different shape bulb from that indicated on the fitting.
- Unscrew the bulb anti clockwise to remove.
- Carefully locate the bulb in the lampholder and turn clockwise to secure.
We recommend cleaning with a soft dry cloth.
Do not use solvents, liquids or abrasive cleaners as these could damage the
finish and the product.
Recycling advice
Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with household waste.

retailer for recycling advice.
