- 1 Nut Plate
- 1 Front Frame Spacer
- 1 Rear Frame Spacer
- 2 Mount Bracket (passenger side)
- 1 Mount Bracket (driver side)
- Hardware Kit (HK-389) containing various bolts and nuts
Product Usage Instructions
Before installing the plow mount, please make sure to read and understand the instructions completely. Ensure that all the necessary hardware is included in the package.
- Remove the front portion of the skid plate on the machine by removing bolts (A & B) as shown in Figure 1. Set the bolts aside as they will be reused.
- Set the plow mount (1) onto the skid plate and insert bolts (7.1) into holes (B), positioning the plow mount in the proper location as shown in Figure 2.
- For reference, measure 1 5/16 inches from the bottom of the plow mount (1) to the lower feature of the skid plate as shown in Figure 2.
- Mark the skid plate at holes (C) with a marker using the plow mount (1) as a template. Remove the plow mount from the skid plate and drill through the skid plate on the center of each of the four marks using a 1/2 drill bit. Note: Drilling a larger hole or slotting the hole may be needed for more adjustment in the plow mount (1).
- Set the mount brackets (5 & 6) along with rear frame spacers (4) inside the frame and loosely secure them to holes (D) in the frame using bolts (7.2) and nuts (7.3) as shown in Figures 3 & 4. Note: Bolts will go through larger outside frame holes.
- Set the nut plate (2) in the frame, lining up the holes in the nut plate with holes (E) in the frame as shown in Figures 3 & 4.
- Re-install the skid plate using the OEM bolts removed in step 1.
- Set the plow mount (1) in place and loosely secure the rear of the plow mount to mount brackets (5 & 6) using bolts (7.5) in the location marked in Figure 5.
- Place spacer (3) between the plow mount (1) and skid plate holes (C) and secure the front of the plow mount using bolts (7.4) and nuts (7.1) as shown in Figure 5 and the exploded diagram. Note: Place the closed hole end of the spacer behind the plow mount (1) first. After loosely securing the plow mount with bolt (7.4) and nut (7.1), swing open end of spacer down between plow mount (1) and skid plate, adding the other hardware.
- Tighten all hardware evenly.
- Note: The plow mount (1) can be removed in the off-season to avoid reducing the ground clearance of the machine. If you do not wish to re-insert hardware back into nut plate (2) and mount bracket (5 & 6), keep the hardware with the plow mount to be reused.
Please refer to the provided figures and diagrams for visual assistance during the installation process.
