Installation Instructions
To install the CC Conversion ATV Push Tube System, follow these steps:
-
Step 1:
To secure the blade to the tube system, place the pivot bushing (Item 7.1.1) into the blade gusset hole. Secure the tube system and the blade together with the hex bolt (7.2.1), washers (7.2.2), and lock nut (7.2.3), as shown in Figure 1. Repeat on the opposite side. -
Step 2:
Install the plow spring bracket (7.1.2) to the middle holes in the back of the pivot plate using bolt (7.2.6) and nut (7.2.8), as shown in Figure 2. Place the eyebolts (7.2.9) into the end of the plow spring bracket and secure them using a washer (7.2.7) and nut (7.2.8) as shown in Figure 2. Leave spring tension loose as you will decide on tension in Step 5. -
Step 3:
Assemble the machine and decide the desired pitch of the blade. Each face of the angle adjust bracket is 5 degrees of blade pitch adjustment.
Note: Figure 3 shows the default position. -
Step 4:
With springs installed, put the blade under tension and install the bolt (7.2.4), angle adjustment bracket (7.1.3), and nut (7.2.5) into the desired pitch position. Repeat on the opposite side. -
Step 5:
Tighten the nut on eyebolts (7.2.9) until the desired spring tension is reached.
Note: For each 1/4 that the nut is tightened, it will add 12 lbs of spring tension. -
Step 6:
The tube system has 3 positions of adjustment for the Lift Hook Bracket. Position 1 is the default position that is recommended for most machines. Position 2 uses the same bolt holes, but in this case, the bracket is flipped over allowing more clearance between the winch and bracket.
