Power Up & Bluetooth Pairing
- Plug the BIFREQ into your car’s 12V power socket.
- Enter the Bluetooth settings in your mobile device and enable the Bluetooth function. From the list of available accessories, find and select the “Scosche BIFM9″
- Your phone will confirm once it is connected. Once connected, ensure your device is set to maximum volume.
Connecting to your Car’s Stereo
Find a weak station on your FM radio that has no active broadcast signal.
Press the “CH” button (1), then turn the tuning knob to the left (2) or right
(3) to tune the BIFREQ to match the frequency of your FM radio.
If you experience interference you may have entered an area where there is an
active broadcast signal on the station you are tuned to. Repeat the above
steps to find a different clear station.
Note: Press “CH” button to change frequencies on BIFREQ (1).
Reconnect to your Device
Transmitter Off: Once paired, the transmitter will automatically reconnect
when powered on.
Transmitter On: Reconnect – Tap Multi-Function Button (MFB) once
*Note: Only tap MFB if the transmitter does not automatically reconnect.|
Optional AUX OUT Connection
The source unit can be connected to the BTFREQ through
the AUX OUT port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).

Streaming Music
Stream music using the music player on your phone. You can use the controls on
the BTFREQ to control the music settings:
Play/Pause – Tap the MFB once
Track Forward – Turn tuning knob right
Track Back – Turn tuning knob left
Making a Call
Use your mobile phone to make a call as you normally would. Phone call audio
will automatically stream through the BIFREQ.
Hang Up – Tap the MFB once
Redial last number called – Double tap MFB
Receiving a Call
Phone call will come in through the BIFREQ.
Press MFB once to answer the call
Press MFB once to end the call
Press MFB twice to reject the call
Voice Assistant Activation & Dual-Port USB Charger
Press and hold the Multi-function button for 3 seconds to activate your
smartphone’s voice assistant.| Your BIFREQ PRO includes (1) USB-C port and (1)
USB-A port to charge your devices while driving. Simply connect using a cable
suitable for your device (not included).
