PORTOR LIGHTING PT-DLJ-B Series LED Retrofit Downlight

Product Information

The PT-DLJ-B Series is a LED Retrofit Downlight designed for easy installation. It comes in two models: PT-DLJ-B-4I-10W-5CCT and PT-DLJ-B-6I- 15W-5CCT. The fixture is equipped with LEDs and caution must be taken to avoid electric shock during installation. The device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules and is designed to minimize interference.

The package includes the following contents:

• A LED Retrofit Downlight (6 pcs for PT-DLJ-B-6I-15W-5CCT or 4 pcs for PT-DLJ-B-4I-10W-5CCT)
• Wire nuts (3 pcs)
• Template (1 pc for PT-DLJ-B-6I-15W-5CCT or 1 pc for PT-DLJ-B-4I-10W-5CCT)

Please note that metal cable and electrical supply cable are not included.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation, disconnect the electrical power.
2. If applicable, remove the existing fixture.
3. Determine the location and necessary hole cutout diameter using the supplied table. Cut the ceiling hole with the listed approximate diameter.
4. Open the J-Box cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s) on the side panel.
5. Install the appropriate metal cable (not included) and insert the electrical supply cable through the metal cable.
6. Connect the supply wires to the fixture wires using 3 wire nuts. Attach white to white, black to black, and green to the ground wire.
7. Carefully stuff all wires/connectors back into the J-Box.
8. Snap/replace the cover on top of the J-Box.
9. To change the color temperature, use the switch provided.
10. Push the spring-loaded clips into the mounting hole upwards and insert the fixture into it.
11. Release the clips and the fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling.
12. Turn on the power after installation and ensure that the fixture is working properly.

FOR SAFETY, READ AND UNDERSTAND INSTRUCTIONS COMPLETELY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ELECTRICITY SHOULD BE TURNED OFF AT THE FUSE OR THE CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX BEFORE INSTALLING THE FIXTURE. ALL ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH N. E. C. OR YOUR LOCAL CODE.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

1. PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION: DISCONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER BEFORE INSTALLING OR SERVICING ANY PART OF THIS FIXTURE.
2. THIS DEVICE COMPLIES WITH PART 15 OF THE FCC RULES. OPERATION IS SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING TWO CONDITIONS:
   • THIS DEVICE MAY NOT CAUSE HARMFUL INTERFERENCE, AND
   • THIS DEVICE MUST ACCEPT ANY INTERFERENCE RECEIVED, INCLUDING THAT MAY CAUSE UNDESIRED OPERATION.

PACKAGE CONTENTS

INSTALLATION

( CONSULT A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN BEFORE INSTALLING )

• STEP 1
  Turn off the power before installation. Remove the existing fixture if applicable. Determine the location and necessary hole cutout diameter using the supplied table and cut the ceiling hole with the listed approximate diameter, see Fig 1.

• STEP 2
  Open the J-Box cover and remove the appropriate knockout(s) on the side panel. Install the appropriate metal cable ( not included ) and insert the electrical supply cable through the metal cable. Connect the supply wires to the fixture wires by using 3 wire nuts. Attach white to white, black to black, and green to the ground wire, see Fig 2.

• STEP 3
  Carefully stuff all wires/connectors back into the J-Box. Snap/replace the cover on top of the J-Box. Change color temperature with the simple flip of a switch, see Fig 3.

• STEP 4
  Push the spring-loaded clips into the mounting hole upwards and insert the fixture into it. Release the clips and the fixture will be pulled flush to the ceiling, see Fig 4.

• STEP 5
  Turn on the power after installation, and check the fixture can work well, see Fig 5.
