FAQs

  • Q1: Where do I find the maximum resolution my host device supports?
A 1: Check the graphics card version of your device by finding “display adapter” In “Device Manager”. If you are unable to find it this way, you can check with your device’s manufacturer for graphics card information

  • Q2: Why does my 2K/4K display look abnormal when I setup dual display mode?
A2: Some branded monitors cannot be adjusted automatically. The “Active signal resolution” is different from the Windows setting “Desktop resolution,” meaning that it is best practice to set these to the same value.
Right-dick while on your desktop and select “Display settings”
Select your display by clicking on it and then scroll down and select
    “Advanced settings”
Here, check if the resolution values of each display for “Desktop Resolution” and “Active signal resolution” are the same:

To change these values, click on “Display adapter properties for Display 2” and match the value

  • Q3: Why does my device show a “Slow Charging” warning when using the dock?
A3: Some users may notice that the charging status shows “slow charging.” This is because some series of laptops have a protection protocol. To solve this, please use the provided external power adapter to charge with this docking station.
