The JUMBO SANDWICH GRILL/ TOASTER/ WAFFLE MAKER is a versatile kitchen appliance that allows you to grill sandwiches, toast bread, and make waffles. It features a range of functions and convenient features to enhance your cooking experience.

Product Usage Instructions

Preparing Your Snack:

1. Before using the appliance, read the instructions fully and retain them for future reference.
2. Choose the appropriate plates for grilling, toasting, or making waffles based on your desired snack.
3. Plug in the appliance and wait for the green Max Temp Indicator light to turn on, indicating that the appliance has reached the desired temperature.
4. Open the appliance and place your snack between the plates. Close the lid and secure it with the Locking Latch.
5. Wait for approximately 2-3 minutes, or longer if desired, for your snack to be prepared.

Removing Your Snack:

When your snack is ready, follow these steps:

1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the wall socket.
2. Open the appliance using the Cook touch handle.
3. Use a plastic or wooden spatula to remove your snack from between the plates. Avoid using a metal knife as it may damage the non-stick coating.

Cooking Multiple Snacks:

If you plan to make multiple snacks consecutively, follow these steps:

1. Close the lid after removing each snack to preserve the heat inside until ready to make the next one.

Cleaning Instructions:

To clean your JUMBO SANDWICH GRILL/ TOASTER/ WAFFLE MAKER, follow these steps:

1. After use, switch off the appliance and unplug it. Allow it to cool down.
2. Wipe the inside and edges of the plates with a soft cloth or absorbent paper towel.
3. If any filling is difficult to remove, pour a little cooking oil onto the plates and let it sit for 5 minutes to soften the filling. Wipe off the oil and filling afterward.
4. Use only a slightly moistened cloth to wipe the outside of the appliance.

Note : Plates will vary according to the model you have purchased.

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not touch hot surfaces.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or cooking unit in water or any other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when the product is used by or near children.
• The product is not intended for use by young children or infirm persons without supervision.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the product to cool before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the nearest authorised service facility for examination, repair or electrical or mechanical adjustment.
• Do not use the appliance outdoors.
• Do not allow the cord to hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• Extreme caution must be taken when moving the product.
• To disconnect, remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance other than for its intended use.
• If the external flexible cable or cord of this appliance is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer, service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid any hazard.
• This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.

USAGE

• When using for the first time, wipe the surface of the plates with a damp cloth and dry the surface with a dry cloth, tissue etc. Then smear the plate with butter, margarine, or cooking oil. Fit the plug into the wall socket.

• Close, and pre-heat the product. Red indicator light will come on, showing heating is on.When the appliance is ready for use, the Max Temperature Light (Green) will come on. Open the appliance.

• Add ingredients according to the model you have purchased.
  Carefully close the 2 halves and lock the product using the Locking Latch.

• Do not force shut. Hot vapours may be emitted between the plates while doing this and take care to ensure that fingers do not come into contact with same.

• Note – During toasting the Green ready to cook indicator light will cycle on and off while the thermostat keeps the toaster at the right temperature.

• Your snack will be prepared in around 2-3 mins, or longer to suit your taste. Open the product and remove your snack using a plastic or wooden spatula. Never use a metal knife as this may damage the non-stick coating of the plates.

• Close the lid to preserve the heat until ready to make the next snack.

• After use, remove the plug from the wall socket.

4. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from entanglement or tripping over a long cord. An extension cord may be used with care, however, the marked electrical rating should be at least as great as the electrical rating of this appliance. The extension cord should not be allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over
5. When using the sandwich toaster for the first time, a slight smoke or odour may be emitted. This is normal and will soon subside. Allow for sufficient ventilation around the product.

CLEANING

1. After use and before cleaning, remove the plug and wait for the appliance to cool.
2. Wipe the inside and the edges of the plate with a soft cloth or an absorbent paper towelling.
3. Should any filling be difficult to remove, pour a little cooking oil onto the plates and wipe off after 5 mins when the filling is softened.
4. Wipe the outside with only a slightly moistened cloth.

This product carries a warranty of 12 months from the date of purchase against defects caused by faulty workmanship and materials. The warranty excludes defects caused by the product not being used in accordance with instructions, mis-use, accidental damage and tampering with by un-authorised persons. In the event of any defect arising during warranty period, the same should be taken to your nearest dealer or wholesaler. It will then be taken care of as per the discretion of the company’s representative. The warranty does not cover damage/defects caused by the events beyond control like acts of god, lightning, abnormal power supply, voltage fluctuations.
