WARNING: BE AWARE! Use of this amplifier at extremely high volumes for extended periods of time may cause hearing loss and or hearing damage. During periods of prolonged high-volume levels, it is recommended that you use ear safety devices. Your ability to hear necessary traffic sounds will be impaired. While driving always keep your sound volume at reasonable levels. We at Rockville want you to listen for many years to come. When installing the amplifier, secure it tightly. An unmounted amplifier in your car can cause serious injury to passengers and damage to your vehicle if it is set in motion by an abrupt driving maneuver or shortstop.
DESCRIPTION
One of the best bass all-in-one subwoofer kits that we have ever carried was the Rockville RV8.1A Single 8″ 400-watt vented subwoofer enclosure. This product is superior to others currently available on the market. This system provides you with more punchy and better-sounding bass thanks to its top-of- the-line ported enclosure, which is included in the package. After carefully positioning the vents on the bottom of the enclosure, the enclosure was tilted at an inclination of 15 degrees to ensure that the bass would be emitted with maximum force and that you would experience excellent sound quality. In contrast to most other packages, which only include a 2-channel stereo amplifier, this one comes with a mono-block bass amplifier instead. Only powerful bass can be amplified with this single-channel amplifier.
Because the amplifier complies with CEA-2006, you can be one hundred percent certain that you will obtain the amount of power that you anticipate. This is one of the few packages available anywhere that complies with the CEA-2006 standards. Because most manufacturers overstate their power ratings, this is something they are unable to achieve. When something is classified as CEA-2006 compliant, it indicates that it has been tested and rated in accordance with the same industry standards that are utilized by other well-known manufacturers such as Kenwood, Sony, Kicker, etc. This set includes subwoofers that are of an exceptionally high grade. In addition to other features, they come equipped with high-power 1.5″ aluminum 4-layer voice coils that have bumping and vented magnet motor constructions.
The fact that our systems, from the woofers to the enclosures and amplifiers, were all conceived and engineered from the beginning to function particularly together as a system is the primary benefit of the Rockville Bass Packages. We put these through a battery of tests over the course of several months to verify that they were up to our stringent quality standards. The end product is a bass response that is extremely effective, producing a sound that is robust, deep, and clean.

CONNECTIONS
The following is a list of the standard connectors that are required for the Rockville RV8.1A:
-
Connecting to the Power Grid:
In order for the RV8.1A’s built-in amplifier to function, it must receive electricity from the vehicle’s electrical system. It is necessary for you to connect the power wire that is coming from the positive terminal of the car’s battery to the “BATT+” or “12V+” terminal that is located on the amplifier. Connecting the negative end of the power line to a good chassis ground in the vehicle, which is commonly indicated as “GND” or “Ground” on the amplifier, is required for proper operation. -
Connection for Remote Turn-On of Appliances:
The amplifier that comes with the RV8.1A needs a remote turn-on signal in order to know when to power on and when to shut off. Connecting the remote wire from your head unit or a dedicated remote turn-on output on your car radio to the “REM” or “Remote” terminal on the amplifier is what you need to do in order to switch the amplifier on and off remotely. -
Connection for an RCA Input:
In order to provide audio signals to the amplifier, you will need to connect the RCA output of your car radio to the RCA input on the RV8.1A. This will allow you to supply the amplifier with audio signals. The majority of automobile stereos are equipped with RCA outputs that are either labeled “Subwoofer Out” or “Sub Out.” For this connection, you should make use of a shielded RCA cable. -
Speaker Connection to the Output:
Because the subwoofer is powered by the amplifier found in the RV8.1A, you will need to connect the subwoofer driver to the speaker output terminals found on the amplifier. In order to accomplish this, the amplifier ought to come equipped with both positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. You need to attach the wires that go to the subwoofer driver to the terminals that correspond to them. -
Installation of the Fuse:
It is necessary to place a suitable fuse in the power wire close to the battery connection in order to safeguard the amplifier as well as the electrical system of the vehicle from any potential malfunctions.
