Product Information

The PoolCandy LED Pool with Waterproof Speaker (Model No. PC6860MP) is a pool accessory that provides both lighting and music for an enhanced pool experience. It features LED lights and a built-in Bluetooth speaker. The pool has an inflated size of 60 inches in diameter and 15 inches in height (152.4 cm diameter and 38.1 cm height). It is made in China and distributed by B&D Group, LLC in Miami, FL. The product is suitable for ages 6 and above. The LED lights require 3 x AA batteries (not included) for operation. The pool also includes a repair patch for any potential damages.

LED Lights Usage Instructions

  1. Install batteries :
    Before using the pool, install 3 new AA batteries in the battery compartment to avoid water damage.

  2. Battery installation:

  4. Remove the expired batteries from the compartment.

  5. Insert 3 new AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

  6. Screw the water-resistant cap back on.

  7. Operating the LED lights:

    • Press the top button on the compartment to turn on the LED lights.
    • The product features 3 light modes to choose from.
    • Do not mix old and new batteries or different types of batteries.

Bluetooth Speaker Usage Instructions

Power ON/OFF: Long press the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds to turn on the speaker.

Charging the Integrated Battery:

  1. Insert the included USB charging cable into the USB socket on the unit.
  2. Connect the USB plug into a PC or AC adaptor.
  3. The blue LED indicator will start flashing, indicating that the battery is being charged.
  4. Charging will take approximately 3 hours.
  5. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator light will turn off. Remove the USB charging cable.

Connecting your Phone:

  1. Ensure the speaker is turned on by long-pressing the ON/OFF button for 3 seconds.
  2. Open the Bluetooth settings on your phone device and enable Bluetooth.
  3. Find the Bluetooth device named “PoolCandy Speaker” and tap it to connect.
  4. Once connected, the speaker will confirm that the Bluetooth device is successfully connected.

Maintenance & Cautions

Caution: Do not install the pool on a sloped or inclined surface, soft or loose soil (such as sand or mud), or an elevated surface that may collapse under the weight of the filled pool.

Read and follow all safety information and instructions. Keep for future reference. Failure to follow these warnings and instructions can result in serious injury or death to users, especially children.

Prevent Young Children From Drowning

  • Install fencing or approved barrier around all sides of pool.
  • State or local laws or codes may require fencing or other approved barriers.
  • Check state or local laws and codes before setting up pool.
  • Drowning occurs silently and quickly. Assign an adult to supervise pool and wear provided water watcher tag.
  • Keep children in your direct sight when they are in or near pool and when you are filling and emptying pool.
  • When searching for a missing child, check pool first even if you think your child is in the house.
  • Pool presents a drowning hazard even during filling and draining of the pool
  • Maintain constant supervision of children and do not remove any safety barriers until the pool is completely empty and stowed away.
  • Refer to the list of barrier recommendations and guidelines as described in CPSC Publication No.362.
  • Assign an adult to be responsible for watching children in the pool. Give this person a ‘water watcher’ tag and ask that they wear it the entire time they are in charge of supervising children in the pool. if they need to leave for any reason, ask this person to pass the “water watcher” tag and the supervision responsibility to another adult.

HOW to USE the LED LIGHTS & WARNINGS

NOTE
Please install batteries prior to using the pool to avoid getting water in the battery compartment.

BATTERY REQUIREMENTS
This product requires 3 x AA batteries, not included.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

  1. Remove water-resistant cap by unscrewing it counter-clockwise Slide the expired batteries out of the compartment
  2. Insert 3 new AA batteries, making sure to follow the polarity as marked inside the compartment.
  3. Insert the battery cartridge back into the housing.
  4. Screw the cap back on – do not over-tighten.

HOW to OPERATE the LED LIGHT OPTIONS

  • Press the top button on the compartment to turn on.
  • The product features 3 light modes:
  • MODE 1 – FAST CYCLE
  • MODE 2 – SLOW CYCLE
  • MODE 3 – ALWAYS ON

Do not mix Old and New batteries.
Do not mix Alkaline, Standard (Carbon-Zinc), or rechargeable (Nickel-Cadmium) batteries.

Charging the Integrated Battery
This product is powered by an integrated rechargeable lithium battery; a USB charging cable is included.

  1. Insert the charging cable into the USB socket on the unit.
  2. Connect the USB plug into a PC or AC adaptor. When the blue LED indicator starts to flash, the battery is being charged. Charging will take approximately 3 hours.
  3. When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator light will go off. Remove the USB charging cable.

Connecting your Phone
Long press the ON/OFF button in 3 seconds and the speaker will turn on. Open your phone device and open the Bluetooth interface and make sure your Bluetooth connection is turned on. Find the Bluetooth device named ‘PoolCandy Speaker’, tap it and press ‘Connect’. Once connected, the speaker will say ‘Bluetooth device is connected successfully’.

Prevent Young Children from Gaining Access to Pool

  • Remove any pool Ladders before leaving pool. Toddlers can climb ladder and get into pool.
  • Position furniture away from pool so that children cannot climb and gain access to pool.
  • When leaving pool, remove floats and toys from pool that might attract a child.
  • Be Prepared to Respond to an Emergency:
  • Keep a working phone and list of emergency numbers near pool.
  • Become certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) so you can respond to an emergency.

Diving Risk

  • Do not dive into the pool. Diving into shallow water can result in a broken neck, paralysis, or death.

Electrocution Risk

  • Keep all electrical lines, radios. speakers and other electrical appliances away from the pool.
  • Do not place pool near or under overhead electrical lines.

Care, Maintenance & Storage

  1. Inspect your inflatable prior to each use.
  2. Keep your inflatable away from sharp objects. Large cuts or snags may not be repairable and will not be covered by your warranty.
  3. In case of incidental damage to your inflatable, a repair kit has been included. Please follow repair instructions carefully as shown on the patch.
  4. To clean your inflatable, use soap and water with a wash cloth.
  5.  To store your inflatable, make sure it is deflated and completely dry. Store your inflatable in a clean, dry place at room temperature.

FLASHING LIGHTS WARNING & FCC INFORMATION
This product contains flashing lights, which can cause seizures, headaches, dizziness, and/or other chemical problems in certain individuals. Caution should be exercised when using this product, particularly around people who have adverse reactions to flashing lights.

Special Care & Handling

  • Avoid rough handling such as bumping or dropping.
  • Avoid extreme temperatures. For best results use between the temperatures of 39° F and 120° F (4° C and 38° C).
  • Clean using only a slightly damp cloth. Do not use cleaners with chemical agents.

Limited 30-Day Warranty
B&D Group, LLC, warrants to the original consumer that its products are free from any electrical or mechanical defects for a period of 30 days from the date of purchase. If any such defect is discovered within the warranty period, B&D Group, LLC. will repair or replace the unit free of charge upon receipt of the unit, shipping postage prepaid and insured to the factory address received from Customer Service. The warranty covers normal consumer use and does not cover damage that occurs in shipment or failure that results from alterations, accident, misuse, abuse, neglect, wear and tear, inadequate maintenance, commercial use, or unreasonable use of the unit. Removal of any panels voids all warranties. This warranty does not cover cost of repairs made or attempted outside the factory. Any applicable implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness are hereby limited to 30 days from the date of purchase. Expressed or incidental damages resulting from a breach of any applicable express or implied warranties are hereby excluded. Some states do not allow limitations on the duration of implied warranties and do not allow exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions in these instances may not apply. The only authorized service center in the United States would be communicated from Customer Service. Ship the unit carefully packed, preferably in the original carton, and send it prepaid, and adequately insured. Include a letter detailing the complaint or issue, along with your daytime telephone number, name and address inside the shipping carton. If your warranty has expired and you want an estimated fee for service, write to [email protected], specifying the model number and the problem.
