Product Information

The product is a battery-powered multi-trimmer, model number #80078. It is designed for trimming and grooming purposes. The trimmer comes with various attachments including cutter heads for normal cut, detailed cuts, and small cuts, a nail file attachment, clip-on combs, oil, a cleaning brush, and a USB cable. Product Usage Instructions

  1. Ensure to read and follow all safety instructions provided in the user manual.
  2. Before using the trimmer, charge the battery fully using the original charger. Do not leave the charger plugged in overnight.
  3. Make sure the charger has a minimum current rating of 1 ampere and the output voltage matches the marking on the device.
  4. To assemble the trimmer, attach the desired cutter head to the motor housing by aligning it and pushing until a click sound is heard. To remove the attachment, pull it in the opposite direction off the motor housing.
  5. When attaching the cutter head, ensure it locks into place on the side.
  6. If necessary, the shearing blade on the cutter head can be removed by pressing the center of the blade. Use the cleaning brush to remove any hair underneath.
  7. Regularly oil the locations where the upper and lower part of the cutter head touch. If the cutting performance diminishes noticeably or the temperature of the cutter head becomes too high, oil the device immediately.
  8. When using the trimmer for nail filing, be cautious with long nails to avoid injury. If any injuries occur, please contact a veterinarian.

Safety instructions

IMPORTANT!
All instructions must be read. Failure to comply with the instructions below may cause electric shock fire and/or serious injury. Keep these instructions handy for future reference! Only pass on the product to other people with the instructions for use.

  • The product’s-housing can become hot during operation. Ensure adequate ventilation of the product to dissipate the heat.
  • Check the product for damage before using it for the first time.
  • Any defects or damage must be resolved immediately to ensure safe operation.
  • Disconnect the power supply before working on the product.
  • The danger of an electric shock! The device must never be charged while in the bath, shower, or over a filled washbasin or another container.
  • At regular intervals, check the charging cable for damage. lf damaged, replace the charging cable with the original charge cable from the manufacturer.
  • Carry out the charging process only in dry and protected spaces. Keep children away from the charging process. Supervise the charging process. Do not leave the charger pluggedin overnight.
  • To charge the battery, only use the charging cable supplied and a suitable power pack. The power pack must be designed for at least A and should correspond to the SELV output voltage as marked on the device.
  • Do not use the USB output on the computer for charging.
  • Only end the charging process when the battery is full.
  • End the charging process after 18 hours if the battery is still not full. The battery is faulty if it can no longer be fully charged.
  • Do not expose the battery to excessive temperatures, sunlight, or fire!
  • immediately interrupt charging if you notice the battery is heating up excessively.

  • Never touch or reach into the cutter head when the device is switched on!
  • Thecutterhead must be cleaned on a regular basis and oiled at the corresponding location to ensure problem-free operation.

Charging the built-in battery

  • To preserve the battery’s maximum power, it is advisable to charge the battery for around 3 hours before using it for the first time {or if it has not been used for a prolonged period).
  • The micro USB charging pocket for charging the battery is on the underside of the device.
  • The charging pilot light illuminates during the charging process. This goes out when the battery is fully charged.
  • Only use the original battery or identical NiMh batteries.

Operation

  • Switching on and off to switch the device on or off, press the button on the front of the device.
  • Changing the attachments: you can switch at will between the attachments {normal, detail, small, sharpening stone). To do this, simply push the desired attachment onto the motor housing until a “click” sound is heard. To remove the attachment, pull it in the opposite direction off the motor housing.
  • Using the comb accessory: place the comb attachment {3/6 mm and 9/12 mm for normal cutter head, 2 mm for detail and small cutter head) on the cutter head and ensure that it locks into place on the side.
  • Cleaning the cutter head: clean the cutter heads and the sharpening stone after each use with the cleaning brush supplied. With the normal cutter head, the shearing blade can also be removed. To do this, press the center of the shearing blade to remove it. Remove the hair underneath with the cleaning brush.
  • Oiling the cutter head: maintain good cutting performance for the cutter head for as long as possible, the cutter head must be oiled regularly, and at least after each use. Oil the locations where the upper and lower part of the cutter headtorch. The device must be oiled immediately when the cutting performance diminishes noticeably or the temperature of the cutter head seems too high.
  • Accustom your animal to the product and its volume in advance.
  • Depending on the length of the nail, use one of the two openings on the safety cap. The small opening is for short nails and the large opening for long nails.
  • Hold the nail file at a 45° angle to the nail and file the nail into a round shape.
  • Do not file the nails too short in order to avoid injuring the paw. The nails contain blood vessels that can be injured. If you cause an injury, please contact a vet!

Storage & cleaning

  • Clean the product housing with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Store the product in a dry place.
