Operation

  • Please make sure your mini camcorder is fully recharged before using.
  • Please make sure the Micro SD card has been formatted already and is securely fitted into the camera’s SD card slot, or it will not work. We recommend you use a SDHC Class 10 Micro SD card.

Note:  If no Micro SD card is fitted into the camera, the camera will shut down automatically. The blue indicator light will be illuminated for 4 seconds first, then flash 5 times together with the red one and turn off.

POWER ON / OFF

  • Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds. The blue indicator light will come on for 1 second and turn off, then the red indicator light will come on and remain solid, indicating the camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
  • Power off the camera by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds again. The blue indicator light will flash twice quickly and then turn off.

Note:  The camera will shut down automatically if it is in standby mode without any operation more than 3 minutes.

VIDEO RECORDING

  • Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds. The blue indicator light will come on for 1 second and turn off, then the red indicator light will come on and remain solid, indicating the camera has entered into standby mode automatically
  • Press the Power Button once to start video recording. The red indicator light will start flashing slowly.
  • Press the Power Button once again to stop video recording. The red indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid, indicating the camera is back to standby mode.

Note:

  1. A video clip will be generated and saved every 30 minutes automatically.
  2. The mini camcorder can record video for 60 minutes continuously on a full charge.
  3. Video Resolution: 1280×960 \ Video Format: AVI
  4. If the battery is low or the Micro SD card is full, the camera will save all video files then shut down automatically. The blue indicator light will be illuminated for 4 seconds first, then flash 5 times together with the red one and turn off.

CAMERA / STILL PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds. The blue indicator light will come on for 1 second and turn off, then the red indicator light will come on and remain solid, indicating the camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
  • Press the Mode Button once to make the camera enter into still photograph mode. The red indicator light will go out, then the blue indicator light will come on and remain solid.
  • Press the Power Button once to take a photo. Every time you take a photo, the blue indicator light will flash once.

AUDIO RECORDING

  • Power on the camera by pressing the Power Button for 2 seconds. The blue indicator light will come on for 1 second and turn off, then the red indicator light will come on and remain solid, indicating the camera has entered into standby mode automatically.
  • Press the Mode Button twice to make the camera enter into audio recording mode. Both blue and red indicator lights will remain solid.
  • Press the Power Button once to record audio only. The blue indicator light will start flashing.
  • Press the Power Button once again to stop audio recording. The blue indicator light will stop flashing and remain solid.

Note:

  1. An audio clip will be generated and saved every 30 minutes automatically.
  2. The camera can record audio for 45 minutes continuously on a full charge.
  3. Audio Format: WAV

Video / Image File Uploads

  • Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card and then insert it into a card reader.
  • Insert the card reader into a proper PC computer USB port.
  • The Micro SD card will be recognized as a removable disk drive.
  • All the files can be accessed in the drive.

Setting Time / Date Stamp

  • Power off the camera, remove the Micro SD card and then insert it into a card reader.
  • Removable disk drive folder appears.
  • Click on the drive in the root directory and inside root directory, create a txt file named “time.txt”.
  • Write the current date and time in the “time.txt” file with the correct format: YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS (For example: 2017-03-14 14:24:32). Save this file.
  • Restart the camera and the system will upgrade the program automatically.

Charging

  • Power off the camera, connect it to an outlet AC power supply using the USB cable and DC5V power adapter provided.
  • The red indicator light will keep flashing slowly during the charging process.
  • It will take 60 minutes to obtain a full charge.
  • The red indicator light will remain solid when the camera is fully charged.
