IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE USE AND RETAIN IT FOR LATER REFERENCE!

WARNINGS

  • Before using the product for the first time, please read the instructions for use below and retain them for later reference. The original instructions were written in Hungarian language.
  • This appliance may only be used by persons with impaired physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking in experience or knowledge, as well as children from the age of 8, if they are under supervision or have been given instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety and they have understood the hazards associated with use. Children should not be allowed to play with the unit. Children from the age of 8 may only clean or perform user maintenance on the appliance under supervision. Children below the age of 8 years should be kept away from the appliance, and its power cable.
  • Please read the instructions carefully before use, and keep it to have it available in the future!
  • Keep 10 cm space around the appliance and do not obstruct the ventilation with such things as newspaper, tablecloth, curtain …
  • Protect it from dust, humidity, liquids, heat, dampness, frost, shock and direct thermal radiation or sunshine! Use only indoor, in dry circumstances!
  • Do not expose the device to splashing water and do not place objects, filled with liquids e.g.: glass on it!• Opened source off lame cannot be placed on the device!
  • If you do not use the product for longer period, remove the batteries!
  • It is forbidden to touch the power cable or the appliance with wet hands!
  • If you detect any kind of abnormality, or in case of damage of the power cable, immediately power off the appliance and contact a technician!
  • The appliance should be located so as to allow easy access and removal of the power plug! Lead the power cable so as to prevent it from being pulled out accidentally! Do not lead the power cable under carpet, doormat, etc … !
  • Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit or its accessories, because it can cause fire, accident or electric shock!
  • If the lifespan of the product is expired, it is classified as hazardous waste. It has to be handled according the local prescriptions!
  • Due to continuous improvements the design and specifications may change without any prior notice.
  • We don’t take the responsibility for printing errors and apologize if there’s any.

Caution: Risk of electric shock!
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the unit or its accessories. In case any part
is damaged, immediately power off the unit and seek the assistance of a specialist.
In the event that the power cable should become damaged, it should only be replaced by the manufacturer, its service facility or similarly qualified personnel.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE

Power off the product by unplugging the power cable! Use soft, dry cloth for regular cleaning. It is forbidden to use detergents! Avoid to get any liquids on the appliance and inside of the unit!
Clean the display with slightly moistened cloth to avoid stretching!

DISPOSAL

Waste equipment must be collected and disposed separately from household waste because it may contain components hazardous to the environment or health. Used or waste equipment may be dropped off free of charge at the point of sale, or at any distributor which sells equipment of identical nature and function. Dispose of the product at a facility specializing in the collection of electronic waste. By doing so, you will protect the environment as well as the health of others and yourself. If you have any questions, contact the local waste management organization. We shall undertake the tasks pertinent to the manufacturer as prescribed in the relevant regulations and shall bear any associated costs arising.
DISPOSING OF ALKALINE AND RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Batteries, whether alkaline or rechargeable, must not be handled together with regular household waste. It is the legal obligation of the product’s user to dispose of batteries at a nearby collection center or at a retail shop. This ensures that the batteries are ultimately neutralized in an environment- friendly way.

INSTALLATION

Connect the power cable to a standard 230 V- / 50 Hz mains socket. Display will be flashing, till you set the correct time. To do this, keep pressing HOUR hour (2.), than the MIN minute (3.) buttons. By holding the buttons pressed, the stepping is continuous.
Finally, fix the time by pressing the TIME (1.) button, orwail5 sec.
If you want to set up the correct time later on again, press the TIME (1.) button for 2 seconds and the display will start flashing.
Than set the time up as described above. If you press TIME (1) briefly, the second display is displayed for 5 seconds.

BRIGHTNESS-CONTROL

If you’re disturbed by the bright light of the display, you can change it. Press DIMMER / DST (8) repeatedly to select from three different bigotness settings.

SUMMER/WINTER TIMETABLE

If you are using summer and winter timetable in the location you live, you can use the DIMMER/ DST (8) button. If you press and hold for two seconds, the hour display goes one hour ahead and the DST LED lights up. Holding it for another two seconds, one hour will be deducted from the number of hours and the DST LED will go out.

DUALALARM

It is possible to set up two alarm times within one day, independently of each other. The alarm sounds with a long beep-beep noise.

SETTING UP AN ALARM

Press and hold AL 1 (6) for 2 seconds and the alarm time will start to flash. Then set the hours and minutes with the HOUR (2.) and MIN (3.) buttons. When it’s done, press TIME (1) or wait for 5 seconds. The display shows the exact time again. You can check the alarm time later by briefly pressing AL 1 (6). • The second alarm time (ALARM2) is set in the same way as above, but by pressing AL2 (7.).

ACTIVATING THE ALARM

Press briefly AL 1 (6) or AL2 (7.) and the alarm time can be read for3 seconds. If at the same time the alarm activation indicator LED (11 and 12) is lit, the alarm will tum on at the set time. If neither LED of the two alarms is lil-AL1 LED (11) on the left side of the display and AL2 LED (12) on the right side of the display- then none of the alarm times is activated. Always be aware of this! To activate or deactivate the alarm, press and hold AL 1 (6.) or AL2 (7.) for 2 seconds and the alarm time starts flashing. Within 5 seconds, briefly press the same button several limes, than the alarm LED on the left (AL 1) or right (AL2) side lights up or goes off. This enables you to activate the alarm times. If you press ii until none of the LEDs are Iii, than the alarms are turned off. After the operation is completed, the clock will reset after 5 seconds.

  • The second alarm time (ALARM2) is set using the AL2 (7.) button. The corresponding indicator light (12) is located at the right side of the display
OPTIONS WHEN THE ALARM TURNS ON
  1. Press the F / E:I (8) button to turn off the alarm. The “alarm” LED remains on, indicating that it will tum on again in 24 hours.
  2. Press SNOOZE (5) to break off the alarm. After 8 minutes the alarm will resume.
  3. If no button is pressed, the alarm sounds for one hour and then turns off.
  4. You can permanently delete the alarms with the AL 1 and AL2 buttons, as described earlier. (first press and hold, than briefly press the button several times to turn off the indicator LEDs).
  • The default time of the alarm is: 0:00
  • During the alarm, the current LED indicator flashes.
  • If the first alarm is active at the time of the second, later alarm, the second alarm has a priority.
  • If the first alarm is in SNOOZE (alarm-repeat) mode at the second alarm time, the second one has priority and the SNOOZE mode is deleted from the firs alarm.
  • If the two alarm times are the same, ALARM2 takes precedence.
SNOOZE FUNCTION (ALARM-REPEAT)

minutes. This process can be repeated for up to one hour. While the repetition is active, the current LED will blink. You can deactivate the repetitions by pressing the OFF (7) button. Then the LED will no longer flash and the alarm will tum on again after 24 hours.

USING THE PROJECTOR

The projector allows you to project the exact time on a wall or ceiling to read in dark environments. In this way, for example, the time is greatly visible on the wall above the 1V. Or at night, when you wake up and look at the ceiling, you can see the exact time right away. Press PROJ MODE (9) repeatedly. The projection switches on and then rotates 180 degrees with the next keystroke. The third key press turns off the projector. The mirroring feature ensures that the projected time can be easily displayed regardless of the location of the device.

  • The brightness of the projection decreases and the size of the projected image increases with increasing of the distance. Find the optimal position when the size is big enough and the brightness is still good. The projected clock size is approximately 400 x 200 mm when projecting at about 1. 5m distance. It is recommended to apply a distance of up to 1.5 to 3 meters.
  • After capturing the distance, adjust the sharpness of the image. To do this, rotate the FOCUS (13) ring at the top of the projector until the image is becomes sharp.
  • The projector has a conventional LED light source (not laser) and is therefore not visible in daylight. Designed for use in the dark. Do not look into the LED light!
  • Occasionally dean the projector lens with a slightly dampened cotton wand!
    Using the projector
TIME MEMORY

Insert a 2×1 .5N (AAA) battery into the battery compartment on the back of the clock according to the required polarity .. In case of power cut, the display will not light up, but the clock continues operation and the alarm signal will sound. When the voltage turns back, the dock will show the correct time. This function is suitable to eliminate only short power failures, until the battery is depleting. It is recommended to check battery status from time to time. If the battery is depleted, remove ii immediately, since liquid can flow out from ii, which may dama9e the appliance. Immediately remove any batteries that have been exhausted, as any liquid that may leak from them may damage the unit You can use the dock without battery as well, but you have to set the correct time again, and alarm-time will be deleted as well. Warning! In case of power cut, the accuracy of the dock may decrease during battery operation!

  • WARNING! RISK OF EXPLOSION IN CASE OF INCORRECT BATTERY REPLACEMENT! IT CAN BE DONE ONLY BY SAME OR REPLACING TYPE! DO NOT EXPOSE BATTERIES TO DIRECT THERMAL RADIATION AND SUNSHINE! DO NOT BURN THE BATTERIES! If there is some liquid flown out from the battery, take a protective glove, and dean the battery holder with a dry doth! KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN! IT JS FORBIDDEN TO OPEN, BURN AND SHORT-CIRCUIT AND CHARGE BATTERIES! RISK OF EXPLOSION!
  • Immediately remove the depleted batteries! Do not use different kinds of batteries and/or used and new batteries together! Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged! Risk of explosion! Do not insert accumulators instead of batteries because they have a significantly lower voltage and efficiency!
