Introduction

Rockville is pleased to present its brand-new assortment of aluminum wakeboard cans. The MAC69B is sold in sets of two and comes with our reliable universal aluminum clamp for simple installation to any wakeboard tower pole measuring between two and five inches in diameter. Our metal clamp inserts are precisely sized to fit inside of them. The waterproof speaker canister has a secure enclosure for the speaker terminals.

Built from incredibly durable aircraft grade 6061 aluminum, these fantastic pods are awesome. The black powder-coat finish on the MAC69B provides unrivalled resistance to chipping, scratching, and fading. They are completely marinized, so they can survive the conditions on the water. All of these cans are watertight. Our pods are internally wired, which makes our technology the best on the market. This indicates that the wires are passed through pre- drilled holes on the pod and clamp and the terminals are within the pod. To finish, just line up the wire opening with the hole in your tower. No exposed connections or cables! Aluminum cans are indestructible!

Frequently Asked Questions

Can these 6×9 cans be used on Harley crash bars?

Probably if the bars are big enough in diameter, but honestly that would look pretty odd in my opinion.

Purchased the 6×9 cans, and used Pyle marine speakers. They sound terrible, very distorted. Would adding some polyfill and a gasket help?

I used kicker 6x9s and they fit great and sound great. If those Pyles are not mounting correctly to seal up then yes you may want to use a gasket or something. Better quality speakers will also help.

Will these cans properly fit polk mm692(6×9)?

No

Will these work with mb quart nk1 8 inch?

8″ speakers are to big for the 6.5″ cans. You will need the 8″ cans to make it work.

Will these cans properly fit polk mm692(6×9)?

Yes. The only thing I would recommend is put a small bead of black silicon around the mounting surface. Let the can sit for about 20 minutes before installation of the speakers. I’ve noticed that if you don’t do this sometimes you’ll have an air leak around the speakers and it hurts the sound. Other than that no issues. I’ve probably used 20 pairs of these.

Do the kicker marine 8” speakers fit in the 7.7” cans?

Yes

Where can I buy covers for these at?

Not sure about the covers. I used the grills that came with my speakers. I also took a piece of double sided sticky foam insulation and put that between the speaker and the pod before mounting. That helped reduce vibration noise since I have them in a 75 bronco in mud tires. I then took a piece of electrical tape and carefully sealed the small gap between the speaker bracket and the pod.

I didn’t get any directions, i am guessing that i run the speaker wire through the biggest hole into the enclosure and then seal it up to waterproof?

Yeah, I ran the speaker wire through the big center hole. I didn’t seal the hole the wire went through my factory Malibu ones weren’t sealed

Will these swivel to turn the housing after you mount them?

No, they don’t swivel. I modified the mounting so I could turn them slightly

Will the JL audio 7.7 marine speakers fit in these cans?

I sent the enclosures back to amazon because3 the 8 inch pair of speakers I had were WAY too big. I searched all over Amazon and could not find a pair of speakers that would fit. Proceed carefully or be sure you can return them if you buy.

Will my Rockford pm282 8” speakers fit in these cans?

No, it won’t don’t get them will only fit 7.7 in speakers

Will these pods fit the Rockville 6×9 subwoofer?

I don’t see why not. They’re plenty deep enough to accommodate my 4way 6×9 speakers with the big magnets

Is an old jbl 595t special edition 6×9 3way speaker fit to this enclosure?

No, your 6X9 speaker is oval, this is a round housing

Should I add any type of poly filler or boom mat to the inside of these cans to improve the sound?

I added some and it helped with the low bass

Can i install speakers that also have led lights?

Yes, you just have to run an extra wire for power.
