Product Information

The product is an intercom system with call blocking functionality. It allows users to block unwanted calls from specific numbers, private calls, and calls without a number attached to them. The call blocking feature is built-in, but it requires a subscription to Caller Line Identification service from the telephone service provider.

The product has a manual call block mode, which is the easiest option for starting out. In this mode, all calling numbers registered in the blacklist will be blocked. Users can add or remove numbers from the blacklist at any time.

Product Usage Instructions

To enable the call blocking feature:

  1. Press the MENU key.
  2. Press the CALL BLOCK key.
  3. Press the BLOCK SET. key.
  4. Press the ON key to select the call blocking mode.

After enabling the call blocking feature, the call block icon will be displayed on the LCD.

To block an incoming call:

  1. When the phone is ringing and before answering, press the FLASH key.
  2. A prompt will appear to terminate the call and register the number to the blacklist.
  3. Press the SAVE key to confirm the registration of the number in the blacklist.

It’s important to note that if you don’t confirm the registration, the number will not be added to the blacklist and the next call will go through normally.

BEFORE 1st USE

Connecting your phone:

  • Connect plugs in corresponding sockets in the base station. Plug the telephone line i telephone socket and insert power plug in an electrical outlet.
  • Insert batteries in Handset Before you start to use your telephone, charge batteries continuously for 15 hours. Use only plug adapter and rechargeable batteries supplied with your phone.

*Subject to subscription and availability of the service from the fixed line operator.

Display icons

  •          Indicates that the Call Blocking function is activated. (See the attached Call Blocking addendum)
  • Indicates battery is fully charged.
  • Indicates battery is fully discharged.
  • Indicates that an external call is connected or held. Icon blinks when receiving an incoming call.
  • Indicates you have a new voice mail message*.
  • Indicates you have new missed calls*.
  • Displays when the alarm clock is activated.
  • Displays when handsfree is activated.
  • Displays when ringer volume is turned off.
  • Indicates that the handset is registered and within range of the base station. Icon blinks when the handset is out of range or is searching for a base.
  • Displays when in menu mode to confirm your selection.

Set language and flash time to operate correctly on your network:

  • select HS SETTINGS select LANGUAGE select your desired language .
  • select BS SETTINGS select FLASH TIME / AN / 4 or 7 select SHORT / MEDIUM or LONG

Using the phone

Receive and end a call

Make a call

  • either before or after dialing your number
  • From redial list:
  • From call log list*.  
  • From direct memories: long press on KEY 1 or KEY 2 or KEY 3 in idle mode.
  • From phonebook: .
  • During a call, to activate/disactivate handsfree:

To make an internal call

  • If only 2 registered handsets:
  • If more than 2 registered handsets: enter the handset number.

To make a three-party conference call:
During call:

  • Press select INTERCOM / enter handset number.
  • Press on the called handset to answer.
  • Long press on the calling handset to establish conference call.

Phonebook settings: 50 entries

To register in phonebook

  • to select PHONEBOOK select ADD / enter name of contact / enter number of contact / 9K / select melody / AK.

To register the direct memories in keys 1, 2 & 3 OK.

  • select HS SETTINGS select DIRECT MEM select KEY 1 or KEY 2 or KEY 3 / edit or enter the number

General settings

  • This phone can be customized according to your preferences, to access the different possibilities press: .
  • To customize handset (name, melody, language,…): select HS SETTINGS
  • To change PIN, registration handset, reset: select BS SETTINGS .

This telephone is built-in with Basic Call Block feature. This feature will help you avoid nuisance calls by only allowing some numbers to make your phone ring. Default setting of Basic Call Block in this telephone is OFF but you can enable it via your phone settings, as explained in the following paragraphs.
This feature requires a subscription of Caller Line Identification service from your telephone service provider.

CALL BLOCK OVERVIEW

Setting Explanations
OFF Call Block function (Block all call with numbers) is Disabled. This

is the default mode.

ON

| Call Block function is set to On. Numbers registered in the black list will not go through and the phone will ring silently. Numbers can be added to the list while the phone is ringing and / or after a call (to enable, see part 1).
ANONYM| This extra feature allows you to block call that do not have a number attached to them (ie private calls, international calls, etc). This option can be enabled on top of any of the previous four (to enable, see part 2)

Manual call block mode

Manual call block is the easiest option when starting out. When you chose ON in the call block settings, all calling numbers registered in your blacklist will be blocked. You can add/remove numbers from that list at any time.

How to block an incoming call:
When the phone is ringing and before answering, press will terminate the call and offer you the option to register the number to the blacklist in one click. Then to confirm the registration of this number in the blacklist, press .

IMPORTANT : if you don’t confirm, the number will not be added to the blacklist and the next call will go through normally.

Enable MANUAL mode

  1. Press press to select CALL BLOCK.
  2. Press press to select BLOCK SET.
  3. Press press to select ON.
    In idle mode, press to access BLOCK SET. directly.
    After you enable this option, the call block icon will be displayed on the LCD.

Add numbers to Blacklist
In idle mode

  1. Press key, BLOCK SET. is displayed,
    Press to press to select CALL BLOCK, press show BLOCK SET

  2. Press or to select BLOCKLIST.

  3. Press press to select ADD, enter number to be blocked, press to save

NOTE : 2 more ways to add incoming and outgoing call numbers in Block list:

  1. From incoming call numbers
  2. Press press to select CALL LIST.
  3. Press press to select call list entry.
  4. Press press to select to ADD to BLIST.
  5. Press to show selected number, press to save to Block list.
  6. From outgoing call numbers
  7. Press press to select redial list entry.
  8. Press press to select to ADD to BLIST.
  9. Press to show selected number, press to save to Block list.

Edit numbers in Blacklist

In idle mode,

  1. Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 1.2.
  2. Press press to select EDIT, press to select number to be edited, press to edit, and then press to save.

Delete numbers in Blacklist
In idle mode,
Delete a number from blacklist

  1. Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 1.2. In idle mode,
  2. Press it , press to select DELETE, press to select number to be deleted, press  to CONFIRM?

Delete all numbers from blacklist

  1. Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section 1.2.
  2. Press it, press to select DELETE ALL, press CONFIRM? is shown, and then press to confirm.

Anonymous call block mode
This feature allows you to block numbers that do not display a number on your phone. It can be enabled or disabled independently from the previous call block modes.

Block Private Calls
This mode will block incoming calls that have been purposely kept their numbers private from you.

In idle mode,

  1. Press key, BLOCK SET. is displayed, or Press is, to press A or W to select CALL BLOCK, press to show BLOCK SET.
  2. Press to select BLOCK ANONYM.
  3. Press press to select PRIVATE, press to confirm.
  4. will be displayed on the lower side of LCD.

Block All Anonymous Calls

This mode will block all incoming anonymous calls, including private calls, international calls, pay phone and other out-of-area calls.
In idle mode,

  1. Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section
  2. Press press to select ALL, press to confirm.
  3. will be displayed on the lower side of LCD.

Set Block Anonymous Calls OFF
In idle mode,

  1. Repeat step 1 and 2 in Section
  2. Press press to select OFF, press to confirm.
  3. will only disappear from the LCD if the regular call block (see 1. And 2.) is also set to OFF.

TROUBLESHOOTING

As a general rule, if a problem occurs, remove the batteries from all handsets for about 1 minute, then disconnect and reconnect the power supply to the base and reinstall the handset batteries.

SAFETY

This telephone is not designed for Emergency calls when the main power fails. Do not use your telephone to notify a gas leak or other potential explosion hazard. Do not open your device or its power supply to avoid risk of electrical shock. Do not attempt to open the batteries, as they contain hazardous chemical substances. Your telephone must be located in a dry place away from hot, humide and direct sunlight condition. To avoid radio signal interference, place the phone at least 1 meter away from other electrical appliances or other phones.

ENVIRONMENT

This symbol means that your inoperative electronic appliance must be collected separately and not mixed with the household waste. The European Union has implemented a specific collection and recycling system for which producers are responsible. Help us protect the environment in which we live!
