WARNING:
- Disconnect operator power before any installation or repair
- Always wear safety glasses
Your Digi-Code radio controls are designed specifically to remotely control a garage door opener or a gate operator, from within an automobile and to give years of trouble-free service without adjustment. Because all radio controls are set with the even numbered switches in the “ON” position when they leave the factory, it is recommended that a different code be selected and set at the time of installation. Please refer to the “Setting the Code Switch” sections for each model for instructions.
SECTION # 1 LOCATING CODING SWITCHES IN YOUR DELTA 3 RECEIVER
The coding switches for the Delta 3 Garage Door Receiver are recessed in
the center of the back of the case (See Figure # 1 below). The coding
switches for the Delta 3 Gate Receiver, Model “GRD”, are located inside the
main plastic housing. The “ON” position is represented when the top of the
switch is in the down position. The “OFF” position is when the top of the
switch is up and the bottom is down. The switches in the receiver must match
the switches in all the transmitters that will be used to operate it.
SECTION # 2 SETTING THE DC-DT1 CODE SWITCHES –TO WORK WITH THE DELTA 3
RECEIVERS
On the transmitter the entire front lower half of the case (“the battery
hatch”) is removable. Use a coin or the curved end of the visor clip to
disengage the lower half of the transmitter front. This will expose both the
code switch and the battery compartment (See Figure 2).
Use a paper clip or a pointed object to match the transmitter code switches setting to your Delta 3 receiver. In the example below (Figure 3) the “On” switches are 2-4-6-8. Once the transmitter code switches have been set to match the Delta 3 Receiver code switch setting, check operation and reinsert the battery hatch.
SECTION # 3 SETTING THE DC-DT2 CODE SWITCHES –TO WORK WITH THE DELTA 3
RECEIVERS
On the transmitter the entire front lower half of the case (“the battery
hatch”) is removable. Use a coin or the curved end of the visor clip to
disengage the lower half of the transmitter front. This will expose both the
code switches and the battery compartment (See Figure 4). The top right code
switch controls the left-hand button, and the bottom left code switch controls
the right-hand button. In the example below (Figure 4) the “On” switches are
2-4-6-8. Use a paper clip or a pointed object to match the transmitter code
switches settings to your Delta 3 receivers. Once the transmitter code
switches have been set to match the two different Delta 3 Receiver code switch
settings, check operation and reinsert the battery hatch.
SECTION # 4 SETTING THE DC-MT CODE SWITCHES – TO WORK WITH THE DELTA 3
RECEIVERS
The mini transmitter cases are made up of two halves which are held together
by a small phillips head screw. Removing this screw will allow access to the
code switches and the battery compartment (See Figure 5). Use a paper clip or
a pointed object to match the
transmitter code switches setting to your Delta 3 receiver. In the example
below (Figure 5) the “On” switches are 2-4-6-8. Once the transmitter code
switches have been set to match the Delta 3 Receiver code switch setting,
check operation and reassemble product.
