The Gemma Sconce is a stylish and modern light fixture that can be easily installed in your home. It comes with all the necessary components and tools required for installation. The sconce includes a backplate, mounting bracket, canopy, mounting screws, Wago clips, set screws, base screw, tool, G9 LED bulb, diffuser, and Gemma shade. The light fixture is designed to provide a warm and inviting ambiance to any room.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation process, ensure that you have received all the components mentioned in the user manual. If anything is missing, contact us for assistance.
  2. Turn off the electrical power source at the main fuse box or circuit panel to avoid any electrical shock risk.
  3. Mount the backplate (Part A) to the junction box using a Phillips head screwdriver. Tighten the mounting screws (Part D) to secure the backplate. Ensure that the wires from the junction box remain accessible.
  4. Use the Wago clips (Part E) to connect the fixture’s wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box. The white wire is neutral, the black wire is live, and the green/yellow wire is ground. One ground wire should be attached to the backplate (Part C), while the other ground wire should come from the junction box. If needed, use a wire stripper to remove 3/8 of the insulation from each wire before inserting them into the Wago clips.
  5. Align the canopy (Part B) with the backplate (Part A) and attach them together using the provided set screws (Part F).
  6. Slide the Gemma shade (Part K) carefully over the socket.
  7. Secure the shade (Part K) into place using the washer and provided tool (Part H).
  8. Insert the included G9 LED bulb (Part I) into the socket.
  9. Thread the diffuser (Part J) over the bulb.
  10. Turn on the power at the main fuse box or circuit panel that was previously turned off during installation.

How to Install Your New Light

Please check that you received all of the components pictured in this guide. Reach out to us if anything is missing. It’s very rare, but it happens. Don’t forget to turn off the electrical power source. Tools you will need that aren’t included: standard wire stripper, Phillips head screwdriver.
CAUTION
Electrical shock risk. Turn off electrical power at the main fuse box or circuit panel before beginning installation, servicing the light,  or installing accessories. We recommend working with a qualified electrician familiar with the type of work you’d like done.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION

  • Step 1: Turn off electrical power at the main fuse box or circuit panel before beginning installation.
  • Step 2: Mount the backplate (A) to the junction box using a phillips head screwdriver to tighten the mounting screws (E). Make sure that the wires from the juntion boz are still accessible.
  • Step 3: Use the wago clips (E) to connect the fixture’s wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box in the wall or ceiling. White is neutral; Black is live; Green/ Yellow is ground. One ground wire will be attached to the backplate (C), the other ground wire should come from the junction box. If needed use a wire stripper to remove 3/8” of the insulation from each wire before inserting them into the corresponding wago clip.
  • Step 4: Align canopy (B) with backplate (A), attach using the provided set screws (F)
  • Step 5: Carefully slide the Gemma shade (K) over the socket.
  • Step 6: Secure the shade (K) into place using the washer and provided tool (H).
  • Step 7: Push included bulb (I) into socket.
  • Step 8: Thread the diffuser (J) over the bulb. Turn the power back on at the main fuse box or circuit panel you disabled before installation.
