In Common With Variania Orb Surface Mount
The Variania Orb Surface Mount is a lighting fixture that is designed to be mounted on walls or ceilings. The fixture comes with various components including a backplate, canopy cover, hex key, Wago Clips, G9 LED bulb, Orb 4 diffuser, mounting screws, glass holder, set screws, and Variania ceramic shade.
Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Before starting the installation process, make sure to turn off the electrical power at the main fuse box or circuit panel.
- Step 2: Use a Phillips head screwdriver to mount the backplate (Part A) to the junction box by tightening the mounting screws (Part G).
- Step 3: Use the Wago Clips (Part D) to connect the fixture’s wires to the corresponding wires from the junction box in the wall or ceiling. Make sure to connect the white wire to neutral, black wire to live, and green/yellow wire to ground. One ground wire will be attached to the backplate (Part A), and the other ground wire should come from the junction box. If needed, use a wire stripper to remove 3/8 of the insulation from each wire before inserting them into the corresponding Wago clip.
- Step 4: Align the holes of the backplate (Part A) with the holes of the canopy cover (Part B) and secure the set screws (Part I) by tightening using the included L-shaped hex key (Part C).
- Step 5: Slide the shade (Part J) up the socket carefully. Attach shade (Part J) to backplate (Part B) by rotating glass holder (Part H) until components are fixed in place.
- Step 6: Insert the G9 LED bulb (Part E) into the socket of the shade assembly.
- Step 7: Screw the diffuser (Part F) into the glass holder (Part H). Turn the power back on at the main fuse box or circuit panel that you disabled before installation.
Note: It is recommended to work with a qualified electrician familiar with the type of work you’d like done. Also, make sure to check that you received all of the components pictured in the guide. If anything is missing, reach out to the manufacturer for assistance.

Tools you will need that aren’t included: standard wire stripper, Phillips
head screwdriver.
