Product Usage Instruction
- Before installing the E-100-E end seal kit, read the installation instructions completely.
- Ensure that the product is installed correctly and that water ingress is avoided before and during the installation to prevent electrical shock, short circuit, or arcing.
- Avoid skin and eye contact with sealing grease. Refer to nVent RAYCHEM safety data sheet VEN 0033 (INSTALL-027) for more information.
- Do not disconnect the product while the circuit is live or unless the area is free of ignitable concentrations to prevent explosion and shock hazards.
- If the equipment may be exposed to external effects or aggressive substances, make the manufacturer aware of it.
- For safe use, refer to hazardous area certification.
- The maximum pipe temperature depends on the heating cable type and can be found in the provided table.
- Follow the table to determine the appropriate heating cable type based on the voltage required.
- Install the E-100-E end seal kit according to the provided installation instructions for use with BTV-, QTVR-, XTV(R)-, KTV-, HTV-, and VPL-heating cables.
- Refer to the table to determine the maximum continuous, intermittent, and off temperature for each heating cable type.
- Follow the recommended temperature codes for the heating cable system as specified in the heating cable or design documentation.
- Follow all safety precautions and guidelines provided in the user manual for proper and safe usage of the product.
