WARNINGS
- This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non-domestic use or in a commercial environment.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
- The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
- The appliance must not be immersed.
- CAUTION: Insure that the kettle is switched off before removing it from its stand.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Place the appliance on a stable flat surface before use.
- Be careful when opening the lid immediately after the water has boiled, the steam coming out of the kettle is very hot constituting a risk of scalding.
- Do not use the kettle to heat anything other than water. Never fill the kettle beyond the maximum level indication. Do not operate the kettle if water is below the minimum level.
- Do not fill the kettle when positioned on base. Dry the water on the bottom of the body before placing it onto the base.
PARTS
OPERATION
Before first use, fill the kettle with water up to the maximum level and let the water boil once, pour out the hot water and rinse the kettle once more.
Boiling Water

Remove the kettle from the base.

Fill the kettle with desired amount of water through the spout or the open lid.
Press the lid release button to open lid.
The water amount ranges from the minimum amount 0. 5L to the maximum amount 1.5L. -
Close the lid until a click is heard and place the kettle on the base.

Insert the plug into the mains socket.

Press the ON/OFF button. The water is being heated.
• The power indicator light will illuminate.
• The factory set temperature (100°C) indicator light will flash. -
You can set the temperature to 40°C, 60°C or 80°C by pressing the temperature setting button.
• The set temperature can be changed while the water is being heated.
• While the water is being heated, the current temperature will light up and the set temperature indicator light will flash. -
When the water has reached the set temperature, the kettle will switch off automatically and the temperature indicator light will stay on and then all indicator lights will go out.
• You can turn off the kettle at any time by pressing the ON/OFF button.
NOTE: Use the kettle only when the lid is closed and the filter is in
place.
Keep Warm Function
You can activate the keep warm function with any temperature setting.
Press the keep warm button and the keep warm indicator light will illuminate.
To deactivate the function, press the button again.
NOTE: The keep warm function will switch off automatically after 30
minutes. All indicator lights will go out.

CLEANING AND DESCALING
Always unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow it to cool down
before cleaning.
Do not use chemical, steel wool or abrasive cleaner to clean the appliance.
Clean the outside of the kettle and the power base using a damp cloth.
Remove the filter on the lid. Clean it under running water and then replace
it.
Descaling the kettle
Fill the kettle with water up to 1.5L level and add a small amount of white
vinegar and leave the solution overnight.
- 2. Empty the solution from the kettle. Wipe off the deposits with damp cloth.
- Fill the kettle with clean water, bring to boil and then discard the water. Repeat before using again.
- Repeat the procedure if there is still some scale in the kettle.
