MOTOBILT MB1083-A High Line Flat Fender and Inner Fender Kit
Product Information
The MB1083 High Line Flat Fender and Inner Fender is a kit designed for TJ/LJ models. It includes both fenders and inner fenders to enhance the look and functionality of your vehicle. The kit components include:
- #MB1083-A (Passenger) – Quantity: 1
- #MB1083-A (Driver) – Quantity : 1
- #MB1083-VT Vented Side Plate – Quantity: 2
- #MB1083-BA Fender Support – Quantity: 1
- #MB1083-BA Battery Support – Quantity: 1
- Button Head Socket Cap Screw Stainless #10-24 x 3/4 – Quantity: 20

Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting the installation, remove or relocate the factory air cleaner and fuse box. Additionally, remove the factory hood latch as it will need to be relocated.
- Trim the hood at the body line that starts at the cowl and extends to the front of the hood. It is recommended to leave some extra material at the bottom of the hood to trim later when attaching the Motobilt fenders.
- Remove the factory hood and both passenger and driver fenders along with their respective inner fenders. Keep the factory hardware as it will be reused to attach the Motobilt fenders.
- Start the fender assembly by using Button Head Socket Cap Screws #10-24 x 3/4 and Nylock Nuts #10-24 to attach the MB1083-A fender and MB1083-VT vented side plates.
- Install the driver side fender support and the MB1083-BA fender support using the factory hardware. Install the MB1083-BA battery support with factory hardware as well.
- Attach the new fender to the vehicle using the factory hardware in the factory location. Repeat this step for the passenger side fender.
- Install the MB1083-IF-03 inner fender using Button Head Socket Cap Screws #10-24 x 1/2 and Nylock Nuts #10-24.

HOOD TRIMMING
THE FACTORY AIR CLEANER AND FUSE BOX WILL NEED TO BE REMOVED OR RELOCATED.
TRIM THE HOOD AT THE BODY LINE THAT STARTS AT THE COWL AND EXTENDS TO THE FRONT OF THE HOOD. YOU MAY WANT TO LEAVE SOME EXTRA MATERIAL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE HOOD TO TRIM LATER ON WHEN THE MOTOBILT FENDERS ARE FINALLY ATTATCHED. THIS WILL ENSURE THE BODY GAP BETWEEN THE HOOD AND FENDERS WILL BE IDEAL.

- INSTALL THE NEW FENDER USING THE FACTORY HARDWARE IN THE FACTORY LOCATION. REPEAT THIS STEP ON THE PASSENGER SIDE
INNER FENDER INSTALL
INSTALL THE MB1083-IF-03 INNER FENDER WITH #10 BUTTON HEAD SOCKET CAP SCREWS WITH #10 NYLOCK NUTS.
NOTE: THE AIR FILTER BOX AND FUSE BOX WILL NEED TO BE RELOCATED OR REMOUNTED ON THE NEW INNER FENDER.
