PoE Version
Set up the Floodlight
Download and launch the Reolink App or Client software, and follow the onscreen instructions to finish initial setup.

On Smartphone
Scan to download the Reolink App. https://reolink.com/wp- json/reo-v2/app/download -
On PC
Download path of the Reolink Client: Go to https://reolink.com > Support > App & Client.
NOTE:
- When setting up the WiFi Floodlight, you need to follow the onscreen instructions to finish the WiFi configuration first.
- If you are connecting the PoE Floodlight to a Reolink PoE NVR, please set up the Floodlight via the NVR interface.
Install the Floodlight
- Install the Floodlight 2-3 meters (7-10 ft) above the ground. This height maximizes the detection range of the PIR motion sensor.
- For better motion detection performance, please install the floodlight angularly.
NOTE: If a moving object approaches the PIR sensor vertically, the floodlight may fail to detect motion.
Mount the Floodlight to the Wall
- Drill holes in accordance with the mounting template.
- Secure the mounting plate to the wall with the upper two screws and hang the floodlight on it.
- Then lock the floodlight in position with the lower screw.
Troubleshooting
Floodlight is not powering on If your Floodlight is not powering on, please
try the following solutions:
For PoE Floodlight
- Make sure your Floodlight is powered on properly. The PoE Floodlight should be powered by a PoE switch/injector, a Reolink NVR or a 12V power adapter.
- If the floodlight is connected to a PoE device as listed above, connect it to another PoE port and check again.
- Try again with another Ethernet cable.
For WiFi Floodlight
- Plug the floodlight into a different outlet and see if it works.
- Power on the floodlight with another working 12V 2A DC adapter and see if it works.
If the problem is not solved, please contact Reolink Support.
