SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
Intended purpose
-
The Hand Blender Set is intended exclusively for chopping, mixing and pureeing food. For each utensil, please observe the area of application described in these instructions. The device is designed for private, domestic use. The device must only be used indoors. This device must not be used for commercial purposes.
Foreseeable misuse -
WARNING! Risk of material damage!

Do not use the device for chopping particularly hard food, e.g. frozen food, bones, nutmeg, grain, coffee beans or spices. This device is also not intended for processing chocolate.
Important Safety Instructions -
Before using the appliance, please read the following instructions carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these instructions.

DANGER for children -
Packing materials are not children’s toys. Children should not be allowed to play with the plastic bags. There is a risk of suffocation.

Children must not be permitted to operate the appliance. The appliance and its power cord must be kept well away from children.

The appliance may only be used by persons with reduced physical sensory or mental capabilities, or lacking experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instruction conceming the use of the appliance and fully understand all dangers and safety precautions involved.

Packaging contains small pieces, that can be dangerous for children. Store the product always out of reach of children. Bags or many of the pieces containing may cause suffocation after swallowing.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock due to moisture -
This device must never be operated close to a bathtub, shower, filled hand basin or similar.

The motor block, the power cable and the mains plug must not be immersed in water or any other liquids.

Protect the motor block against moisture, drips and splashes.

If liquid gets into the motor block, remove the mains plug immediately. Have the device checked before reusing.

Never touch the device with wet hands.
-
If the device falls into water, disconnect the mains plug immediately.
-
Only then is it safe to retrieve the device.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock

Only insert the mains plug into the wall socket after the device has been completely assembled and filled.
-
Only connect the mains plug to a properly installed and easily accessible wall socket whose voltage corresponds to the specifications on the rating plate. The wall socket must continue to be easily accessible after the device is plugged in.

Ensure that the power cable cannot be damaged by sharp edges or hot points. Do not wrap the power cable around the device.

The device is not fully disconnected from the power supply, even after it is switched off. In order to fully disconnect it, pull out the mains plug.
-
When using the device, ensure that the power cable cannot be trapped or crushed.
-
When removing the mains plug, always pull the plug and never the cable.
-
Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket: if there is a fault; when the blender is not in operation; prior to each cleaning; and during thunderstorms.

Do not use the device if there is visible damage to the device or the power cable.

In order to avoid hazards, and to comply with safety requirements, repairs to this electrical appliance or its power cord must be carried out by our customer service. If repairs are needed, please send the appliance to our customer service department.
DANGER! Risk of injury from cutting -
The blade insert is sharp. To prevent injury, take special care when deaning or emptying the jug.

When washing manually, the water should be sufficiently clear that you can see the blades easily.

The device must never be operated without the vessel.
-
Never reach into the rotating blades. Do not touch rotating parts with spoons or similar utensils. Keep long hair or loose clothing away from rotating parts as well.

The blade insert continues to rotate after the device is switched off.
-
Wait for it to stop moving before you remove the working cover.
WARNING! -
Before deaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.

To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with water and do not immerse it in water.

Caution: Do not fill the chopper with liquid.

Care is required when pouring hot liquids into the jug in case a jet of vapour should escape from the appliance.

Caution: Any misuse can cause severe personal injury.

Disconnect the mains plug from the wall socket …, … when it is not supervised, … before you assemble or disassemble the device, and for household use only.

Do not allow the appliance or its power cord to touch hot surfaces or to come into contact with any heat sources.

Do not let the power cord hang free.

Do not touch any moving parts during operation, and do not insert any implements (e.g. dough spatulas or cooking spoons) into the blender jug unless the motor has come to a complete standstill.

No responsibility will be accepted if damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.
Short-time operation -
The appliance has been designed for short-term operation only, i.e. it should not be operated continuously for more than:

Connection to the mains supply
- Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label. This product complies with all binding CE labelling directives.
- For pluggable equipment, the socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

Before first use
- Before the appliance is used for the first time, all attachments and accessory parts must be cleaned as described in the section Cleaning and care.
OPERATION
- DANGER! Risk of electric shock! Only insert the mains plug into a wall socket when the multi chopper is fully assembled and filled.
- DANGER! Risk of injury from cutting!
- The blade insert is sharp. Handle it with care.
- The device must never be operated without the vessel.
- The blade insert continues to rotate after the device is switched off.
- Wait for it to stop moving before you remove the working cover.
- Blender
Connecting the blender:
- Attach the motor unit D to the blender E in such a way that the attachment marking is below the symbol .
- Turn the motor unit D such that the attachment marking on the motor unit points to the lock marking . The motor unit D must engage noticeably.
- Mashing
Connecting the mashing potato shaft:
- Attach the motor unit D to the mashing potato shaft F in such a way that the attachment marking is below the symbol .
- Turn the motor unit D such that the attachment marking on the motor unit points to the lock marking . The motor unit D must engage noticeably.
- Chopper
Mount the chopper:
- Press the slip-resistant cover/base against the chopper J from below such that a tight fit is ensured all around.
- Place the blade insert K on the arbor in the chopper.
- Fill the chopper J with the prepared food only up to the marked MAX level.
- Set the drive cover I on the chopper J.
- Attach the motor unit D to the drive cover I in such a way that the attachment marking is below the symbol .
- Turn the motor unit D such that the attachment marking on the motor unit points to the lock marking . The motor unit D must engage noticeably.

Mount the whisk:
- Attach the Whisk G to the Whisk base H until it engages audibly and noticeably.
- Attach the motor unit D to the Whisk base H such that the attachment marking is below the symbol .
- Turn the motor unit D such that the attachment marking on the motor unit points to the lock marking . The motor unit D must engage noticeably.
REMOVE THE ACCESSORY Part
To remove the accessory part, turn the motor unit D such that the attachment
marking points to the unlock marking and pull off the motor unit D from the
accessory.
Operating elements
Speed controller: A
The blending speed is adjustable from 1 (minimum) to 6 (maximum speed).
Power button: B
Keep the power button B pressed to work at the set speed. Release it to switch
the device off.
Turbo button: C
Keep turbo button C pressed for blending at maximum speed. The speed
controller setting is irrelevant here. Release turbo button C to switch the
device off.
Blender
Application area:
The blender E is ideal for pureeing cooked fruit and vegetables and for mixing
drinks, soups, sauces, etc. and for making milkshakes. Do not use the blender
E for extremely hard food such as ice cubes, nuts or the like.
NOTE: Adapt the rotation speed to suit the foodstuff to be blended.
Select normal speed for soft foodstuffs to be blended (1-6) B and turbo speed
for harder foodstuffs (TURBO C).
- Cut the cooked fruit and vegetables into small pieces.
- Put the food into the measuring beaker M/N or another suitable container.
- Attach the motor unit D to the blender E until it engages.
- Immerse the blender into the food to be pureed/mixed.
- Connect the mains plug with the wall socket.
- To blend at normal speed, keep the power button B pressed. To blend at turbo speed, keep TURBO C pressed.
- Move the blender E up and down a bit in the foodstuff, to ensure that it is blended evenly.
- When you are finished, release the power button B or TURBO C.
- After blending wait until standstill before you remove the blade, then pull the mains plug and take the blender E out of the food.
- Clean the device immediately if possible.
NOTE: If the blender E builds up a suction and adheres to the bottom of the vessel, release the power button B or TURBO C briefly.
Mashing
Application area:
The mashing potato shaft F is ideal for mashing boiled potatoes, carrots.
- Cut the cooked potatoes and carrots into small pieces.
- Put the food into suitable container.
- Attach the motor unit D to the mashing potato shaft F until it engages.
- Immerse the blender into the food to be pureed/mixed.
- Connect the mains plug with the wall socket.
- To blend at normal speed, keep the power button B pressed. To blend at turbo speed, keep TURBO C pressed.
- Move the mashing potato shaft F up and down a bit in the foodstuff, to ensure that it is blended evenly.
- When you are finished, release the power button B or TURBO C.
- After blending wait until standstill before you remove the blade, then pull the mains plug and take the mashing potato shaft F out of the food.
- Clean the device immediately if possible.
Chopper
Application area:
The chopper is ideal for chopping meat, Parmesan, vegetables, fruit, nuts and
herbs.
- Rinse or wash the food.
- Cut the food into small pieces.
- Remove the outer shell from nuts. You may use the inner skin if you wish, e.g. with almonds.
- Use fresh herbs without the stalks and in dry condition.
- Remove sinews, bones and gristle from the meat.
- Connect the mains plug with the wall socket.
- For chopping, keep the power button B / TURBO C pressed and release it to switch the device off.
- After chopping remove the mains plug and take the motor unit D away from the drive cover I.
- Clean the device immediately if possible.
whisk
application area:
The whisk is suitable for beating whipped cream, egg whites and foods of a
similar light consistency.
- Fill the cream, egg whites or similar into the measuring beaker M/N or another suitable container.
- Immerse the whisk G into the cream or similar.
- Connect the mains plug with the wall socket.
- For beating, keep the power button B or TURBO C pressed and release it to switch the device off.
- After beating pull the mains plug and take the whisk G out of the food.
- Remove the whisk G from the whisk base H.
- Clean the device immediately if possible.
CAUTION: Do not use chopper bowl and blender for ice.

Cleaning

Warning! To prevent the risk of electric shock, injury or damage.

Disconnect the power supply plug from the mains socket before cleaning.
-
Never immerse the motor unit in water.
-
Caution! Never use scouring, corrosive or abrasive cleaning materials as these could damage the appliance.
Cleaning the base unit -
Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth. A little detergent may also be used.
-
Wipe over with clean water.
-
Do not use the motor unit again until it is completely dry.
Cleaning the accessories -
Put the parts in cold or lukewarm water to soften dough residues.
-
Note: You can also add a little detergent to the water.
-
Remove softened dough residues with a washing-up brush.
-
Rinse off with clean water.
-
Allow parts to dry completely before using them again.
-
