When using this equipment, it is important to adhere to Health & Safety, local authority, and general workshop practice regulations. The following safety precautions must be followed:

  • Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the torch.
  • Handle the butane gas with care as it is extremely flammable.
  • Point the torch away from the eyes and body when igniting and during operation.
  • Ensure the Gas Controller Knob is firmly closed and the flame completely extinguished after use.
  • Do not puncture or dispose of the torch in a fire.
  • Avoid using the torch in areas where paint fumes, solvents, or other flammable materials are present.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the torch when operating.
  • Do not operate the torch when tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or intoxicating medication.
  • Use clamps or a vice (not included) to secure the workpiece instead of holding it by hand.
  • Do not operate the torch if any parts are damaged or missing.
  • Avoid touching the workpiece close to the heated area as it will be very hot.
  • Avoid touching the burner tube during or immediately after use as it will be very hot.
  • Do not leave the torch operating unattended.
  • Avoid using the torch continuously for long periods.
  • Do not allow children to operate the torch.
  • Allow the torch to cool before storing it after use.
  • Observe cautions on the gas filler cartridge label.

Environment Protection

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. When the product becomes completely unserviceable and requires disposal, drain any fluids (if applicable) into approved containers and dispose of the product and fluids according to local regulations.

The product comes with a 12-month warranty from the purchase date. Proof of purchase is required for any warranty claims. Product Usage Instructions

To use the Micro Butane Heating Torch, please follow these instructions:

Step 1: Precautions

  • Ensure you are wearing approved eye or face protection before operating the torch.
  • Handle the butane gas with care as it is extremely flammable.
  • Always point the torch away from your eyes and body when igniting and during operation.
  • Make sure the Gas Controller Knob is firmly closed and the flame is completely extinguished after use.
  • Avoid using the torch in areas where paint fumes, solvents, or other flammable materials are present.
  • Keep flammable materials away from the torch while operating it.

Step 2: Operation

  1. Secure the workpiece using clamps or a vice (not included) to avoid holding it by hand.
  2. Check that all parts of the torch are intact and undamaged before use.
  3. Ignite the torch according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. Direct the flame away from your body and eyes while operating.
  5. After use, close the Gas Controller Knob firmly and allow the torch to cool before storing it.

Remember to observe the cautions on the gas filler cartridge label and follow proper disposal procedures for the product and any fluids used.

INTRODUCTION

  • Professional micro design featuring piezoelectric ignition. Fitted with automatic safety lock. Unit produces flame of up to 1300°C and will operate for up to 45 minutes on a single fill.
  • Features adjustable flame control and continuous flame function. Powered by Butane (lighter fuel).

OPERATION

TO FILL

  1. Use standard butane fuel. Fill in a well ventilated area away from open flame. Turn the torch off, make sure the flame is out, allow to cool down for five minutes before filling.
  2. Hold torch upside down and insert the filling can’s nozzle into the gas filling valve. Press nozzle into the valve and release gas. Once gas begins to seep out around the edge of the nozzle, the gas tank is full. Remove the filling can.

TO USE

  1. Push slide switch down to unlock trigger.(fig1.1)
  2. Depress button this starts gas flow and operates ignition.(fig.1.2)
  3. Depress blue/black button to lock trigger for a continuous flame. (fig.2.1)
  4. Move Gas Volume Control Lever to vary flame strength, Volume ranges from 1 to 4. (fig.1.3)

ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
