Crate Barrel Bea Flushmount Light
Product Information
- The product is suitable for dry locations only.
- The contents of the box include mounting bolts, wire nut, and mounting plate.
- The lamp can be installed with a 9 watt maximum LED or a 60 watt maximum standard type A bulb.
- The lamp is made in China and the customer service number is 800.967.6696.
Product Usage Instructions
- Shut off the main electrical supply from the main fuse box/circuit breaker.
- Unpack all fixture parts and hardware carefully and lay them out on a clear workplace.
- Place the lampholder and stem to the lampshade, turning clockwise to secure. Place lampshade to stem and canopy turning clockwise to secure.
- Insert two bulbs (not included) into sockets. Do not exceed specified wattage.
- Align holes of two washers, one acrylic diffuser, one washer, and one nut to bolt from lamp assembly. Secure clockwise with diffuser cap.
- Place the mounting plate over the center of the ceiling junction box.
- Align holes in mounting plate with holes in junction box and attach with two mounting bolts using a Phillips head screwdriver.
- Gently pull wiring down from ceiling junction box and allow it to hang.
- Carefully inspect the lamp’s fixture wires: Neutral fixture wire = white, Hot fixture wire = black, Ground wire = bare copper.
- Wrap the ground wire (bare copper) in the canopy around the green screw and tighten it, then connect the ground wire from the junction box together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
- Attach the neutral fixture wire from the lamp to the neutral junction box wire (usually white). Fasten each together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
- Attach the hot fixture wire from the lamp to the hot junction box wire (usually black). Fasten each together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electrical tape. Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections or safety will be compromised.
- Gently tuck wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction box.
- Push canopy up over the mounting plate until it is flush with the ceiling. Align holes in the canopy with the canopy bolt in the mounting plate and secure each canopy bolt clockwise with canopy cap.

Place lampholder and stem to lampshade turing clockwire to secure. Place lampshade to stem and canopy turning clockwise to secure.

Insert 2 bulbs (NOT INCLUDED) into sockets. DO NOT EXCEED SPECIFIED WATTAGE.

Align holes of 2 washers, 1 acrylic diffuser, 1 washer and 1 nut to bolt from lamp assembly. Secure clock-wise with diffuser cap.

Place mounting plate over the center of the ceiling junction box.

Align holes in mounting plate with holes in junction box and attach with 2 mounting bolts using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Gently pull wiring down from ceiling junction box and allow it to hang.

Carefully inspect the lamp’s fixture wires:
Neutral fixture wire = WHITE
Hot fixture wire = BLACK
Ground wire = BARE COPPER -
Wrap the ground wire (bare copper) in the canopy around the green screw and tighen it, then connect the ground wire from the junction box together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electricl tape.

Attach the neutral fixture wire from the lamp to the neutral junction box wire (usually white). Fasten each together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electrical tape.

Attach the hot fixture wire from the lamp to the hot junction box wire (usually black). Fasten each together with a wire nut and wrap the connection with electrical tape.
DO NOT REVERSE THE HOT AND NEUTRAL CONNECTIONS OR SAFETY WILL BE COMPROMISED. -
Gently tuck wire connections neatly into the ceiling junction box.

Push canopy up over the mounting plate until it is flush with the ceiling. Align holes in the canopy with the canopy bolt in the mounting plate and secure each canopy bolt clockwise with canopy cap

Restore power to junction box and test fixture. Installation is now complete.
