GLOBAL INDUSTRIAL 670691 Line Striper

Product Information

The Global Industrial Line Striper is a spray can capacity product that is used for striping paint. It comes with an upper handle, a trigger lower handle assembly, and two locking spring arms for easy maneuverability. The product also has a paint storage space and a carrier assembly for holding the striping paint can.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Remove the unit from the carton.
2. Loosen the wing nut that secures the upper handle to the lower handle assembly and the two wing nuts that secure the lower handle assembly to the body of the unit.
3. Raise the upper handle in line with the lower section and tighten the wing nut.
4. Position the lower section connection arms on the body and fasten with the wing nuts at the bottom edge of the unit and tighten the wing nuts.
5. Insert the striping paint can into the carrier assembly.
6. Hold the product by the upper handle and trigger lower handle assembly.
7. Press down on the trigger to release the paint and move the product in a straight line to create stripes on the surface.
8. After use, remove the striping paint can and store it in a safe place. Clean the product thoroughly before storage.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

• Description: These heavy duty, metal striping machines are specifically designed for use with Striping Paints on a variety of surfaces.

• Benefits: Line Striper units feature all steel construction, a wind screen for clean paint lines and the capacity to carry one full case of paint. The VAS has 7-inch wheels and is designed for use on most smooth surfaces. It will spray lines approximately 2 to 4 inches wide.
  Note: When it is set at the highest adjustment for the widest stripe, the line edges may not appear as crisp as they do with the more narrow settings.

• Application: Use on athletic fields, parking lots, industrial plant facilities, playgrounds, municipal, etc.

• Directions: Review instructions supplied with the unit, and back panel of Striping Paint can before use.

Assembly

1. Remove unit from carton.
2. Loosen the wing nut that secures the upper handle to the lower handle assembly and the two wing nuts that to secure the lower handle assembly to the body of the unit.
3. Raise upper handle in line with the lower section and tighten the wing nut.
4. Position the lower section connection arms on the body and fasten with the wing nuts at the bottom edge of the unit and tighten the wing nuts.

Operation

1. When viewing from the front of the unit, insert a can of Striping Paint in the inverted position on the left side of the carrier assembly.
2. Slide the can into position under the two locking spring arms.
3. Evacuate contents of the can by squeezing the trigger.
4. To vary the width of the sprayed line, loosen the two carrier assembly wing nuts and raise the assembly for a wider line or lower it for a narrower line. Tighten the wing nuts when the desired line width is achieved. It is best to test the unit for line width compliance on a piece of cardboard prior to actual operation.
5. A full case of Striping Paint may be carried on the unit in the space available.
6. When spraying is complete, remove the can by sliding to the left in the carrier assembly and lift out.
