User information

  • Parking Gate, in addition to valid security, will last for years with just simple care from your side. Even if your automation device meets all the safety standards, this does not exclude the presence of residual risk, i.e. the possibility that hazardous situations may occur due to irresponsible or even improper use. For this reason, we wish to offer some advice regarding the behaviour to be adopted in order to avoid problems.
  • Before using the Parklio Gate for the first time, ask the installer to explain the sources of residual risk to you, and take some time to read the instruction manual and user information delivered by the installer.
  • Keep the manual for any future doubts and give it to any new owners of the device.
  • Your Gate is a machine that faithfully follows your commands; irresponsible and improper use can make it hazardous: do not start a movement of the device if there are people, animals or objects within its radius of action.
  •  Children: installed following technical regulations, boom Gate guarantees a high level of safety.
  •  However, it is prudent to prevent children from playing near the Gate and to avoid uninten- tional use; never leave the remote control within the reach of children: it is not a toy!
  • Anomalies: as soon as the Gate shows any anomalous behaviour, remove the electricity supply and perform manual unblocking. Do not attempt any repairs yourself, but ask your installer: in the meantime, the system can operate as a non-automated device.
  • Maintenance: as with all machinery, your automation devices require periodic maintenance so that it may continue to work for as long as possible, and in complete safety. Agree a pe- riodic maintenance plan with your installer; PARKLIO recommends a maintenance plan to be performed every 6 months for normal domestic use, but this period may vary depending on the intensity of use.
  •  Any inspection, maintenance or repairs should only be performed by qualified personnel. Even if you think you know how, do not modify the system and the automation device pro- gramming and adjustment parameters: your installer is responsible for this. Final testing, periodic maintenance and any repairs should be documented by those operating, and the documents held by the system owner.
  •  Disposal: on completion of the device’s operating life, ensure that disposal is performed by qualified personnel and that the materials are recycled or disposed of following valid local regulations.
  •  Important: If your Gate is fitted with a radio control, the function of which appears to dete- riorate over time, or has even ceased to function, this might simply depend on the batteries being run down (depending on the type, this may be from several months to up to two/ three years). Before contacting your installer, try replacing the battery with the battery from another, working transmitter: if this was the cause of the problem, then simply replace the battery with another of the same type.
  •  Are you satisfied? Should you wish to add another automation device to your home, contact the same installer and ask for a PARKLIO product: we guarantee you the most advanced products on the market and maximum compatibility with existing  automation devices.
  • Thank you for having read these recommendations, and for any present or future needs, we ask you to contact your installer in full confidence.

Gate Receiver

The transmitter allows a very high degree of safety for the remote control of the access, thanks to 144-bit processes using multi-level encryption.
For a correct understanding of the following instruction are definedParklio
Remote Control Gate - transmitter 2.1. Outputs
The receiver has 2 outputs open collector type: the control unit configuration in which it is installed, determines the function associated with each output.
2.2. Receive a code
If a received code is stored with the P1 button, the LED 1 lights and activates the output No. 1 for all the duration of the transmission (it is the same for output 2).
If a received code is not memorised both LEDs light up briefly; if the radio transmission continues, the flashing is repeated at intervals of about 1 “.
2.3. Alarm notifications
MEMORY FULL If trying to memorise a code the two LEDs flash quickly for 4 “ it means that the memory is full and the code cannot be stored. MEMORY DAMAGED If the two LEDs flash quickly without stopping means that the memory is faulty: the receiver cannot work.
2.4. Resetting the memory
Press and hold the two buttons P1 and P2 for 4”: 5 short flashes contemporaries of the two LEDs indicate the complete resetting.
2.5. Deleting a code

  1. Locate the RX output activated by the button of the transmitter that is being deleted.
  2.  Press the button (P1 or P2) associated with it, keeping it held for 4”: at the be- ginning the LED lights are fixed, and then start to flash quickly.
  3.  Release the button: The LED continues to flash quickly (for 4”).
  4.  Activate the button of the transmitter to delete: the cancellation is signalled by the LED that lights for 1 “. If the code is not in the memory an error message will be indicated by faster flashes.
  5.  To delete any other code return to step 1.

2.6. Storing of a transmitter
NOTE: the first installation it is advised to do a complete deletion of the memory before beginning to  storecodes.

  1. Press the P1 button if you want to store button of the transmitter associated with the output 1 (opening of the gate) of the receiver, or the P2 button for out- put 2 (closing the gate). Note that the storing procedure is the same). When you release the button, the corresponding LED flashes 4 times slowly
  2.  During this time, press the button of the transmitter you want to store
  3. A prolonged power of LED (1“) indicates that it is stored in memory, while few quick flashes indicate that the button of the transmitter is already stored. The button of the transmitter cannot be stored on both outputs of the radio.
  4. The LED continues with another 4 slow flashes waiting for other storages (re- turn to step 2). If during this time the other button is pressed, the storage on the other RX output will turn ON; if other codes are not transmitted the receiv- er leaves the storage phase.

 Remote control

3.1. Buttons functions
The buttons do not have predetermined function and they can be memorised in any receiver channel
3.2. Inserting a code
When the receiver is powered press the channel button where the transmitter will be memorised. When the button is released the relative led will blink slowly 3 times, during this period press the button of the remote control in which the code is to be stored. A long blink indicates that storage has been successful, while 3 consecutive fast blinks indicate that the code of the remote control has already been stored in one channel. The led will emit another 3 slow blinks while waiting for other storage procedures. If no other codes are transmitted in this time, the receiver exits from the programming phase. It is impossible to store the same code on both channels; each code is associated with just one channel.
3.3. Changing the battery
To change the battery remove the two screws with a screwdriver on the transmitter back (FIG. 2). Pay attention to the battery polarity marked on the battery holderParklio Remote Control Gate - battery 3.4. Transmitter copy
This transmitter is able to copy the code from another fixed code transmitter.
Be careful when copying, this procedure must be done by an advised person and with a good battery, otherwise the copy will not work.
Follow these steps to copy a remote control:

  • On the COPY transmitter push the button to memorise the code together with the opposite button (A with B, or C with D).
  • The LED blinks for 5 seconds, after it becomes fixed
  • Hold the button where you want to memorise the code and release the other
  • The LED sends out 3 long blinks
  • In the meantime place the ORIGINAL transmitter in front of the COPY (FIG. 1) and push the ORIGINAL transmitter button that will be copied
  • The LED sends out short flashes waiting a code to copy
  • Now pay attention to the COPY transmitter LED: – If the LED turns on for 1 sec   ond and after turns off the copy is done. Now release all buttons.. It is strongly recommended to check that the code is recognised by the receiver, oth- erwise repeat all steps. – If the LED continues to send out short blinks, it means that no codes are received, so be sure to push the ORIGINAL transmitter button or move the transmitter to maximise the signal coupling. However if it does not copy change the battery of the ORIGINAL transmitter – If the LED is still on, the copy is failed, please retry. – If the LED send out fast blinks and after it still fixed, it means that the battery has not enough energy to perform the copy
