SETUP

  1. Install the battery

  2. Use the backup key to unlock the safe. The keyhole is located on left side of the safe, underneath the hidden cover. Insert the key and turn counter-clockwise to unlock the safe.WYZE-Gun-Safe-Smart-Access-Dependably-Secure-fig-3

  3. Press the Eject button (lower half) to remove the battery case.WYZE-Gun-Safe-Smart-Access-Dependably-Secure-fig-4

  4. Install the included 4x AA batteries into the battery case. Insert the battery case back into the slot.

  5. Download the Wyze app and sign in or create an account

  6. In the Wyze app, tap the + plus sign, then Add Device > Home > Wyze Gun Safe. Follow the in-app installation and setup instructions to complete Wyze Gun Safe setup.

  7. Press the Bluetooth pairing button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

  8. Follow the setup instructions in the Wyze app to complete fingerprint and keypad access registration.

  9. Once setup is complete, Wyze Gun Safe is ready for use

BASIC OPERATION

Fingerprint Unlock
Place your finger on the fingerprint scanner to unlock the safe.

Keypad Unlock
Enter the correct (4-8 digit) access code on the keypad to unlock the safe.

Backup Key Unlock
Press down on the left side of the key cover to expose the lock cylinder. Insert the backup key into the cylinder and turn the key counterclockwise to unlock the safe

MOUNTING INSTALLATION

You can securely mount your Wyze Gun Safe to a flat surface using the included mounting screws and the pre-drilled holes on the bottom of the safe.

Using the Mounting Kit:

  1. Make sure you have enough clearance for the lid to fully open before mounting the safe.
  2. Position the safe on a flat surface where you want to mount it.
  3. Use a pencil to mark the holes for drilling.
  4. Drill pilot holes.
  5. Position the safe in place and install the mounting screws through the safe and into the pilot holes. Tighten screws to complete installation.

Caution : Mounting the safe vertically so that the door flips upward will result in incomplete opening due to the weight of the lid. The door will open if the safe is mounted so that the door opens downwards or to the side.

  6. Keep Wyze Gun Safe out of reach of children and pets.

  7. Do not get Wyze Gun Safe wet.
    Wyze Gun Safe is not waterproof. Do not get it wet. Only operate Wyze Gun Safe with clean, dry hands. Clean only with a damp cloth. If your Wyze Gun Safe gets wet, it could short out the batteries, which may cause electric shock, fire, or smoking, which could result in serious personal injury, death, or damage to nearby property, including property stored within the safe.
