Safety warnings
This section contains safety instructions that will help to protect you from risk of injury or property damage. Failure to follow these instructions will invalidate all warranties.
- Do not use the product, if you have not read and understood the operating instructions before.
- Before first use, make sure that all the parts listed in these instructions are in side of the original packaging.
- Only plugs, batteries, chargers, and other spare parts, supplied by the manufacturer of the product should be used. Use of non-manufacturer provided parts may affect the loss of warranty.
- Ignoring usage instructions, improper installation and use of the product may result in damage to the product or injuries to the user. Instructions should always be at hand.
- Never expose the inner workings to water.
- The device and external supply must be disconnected from power supply during installation, maintenance, cleaning and repairs.
- Leave the product repairs to a specialist. Improper repairs may lead to an accident or a malfunction in the unit.
- The warranty does not cover consumable parts of the device, color fading and chipping, increased noise as a result of aging of the device and other aesthetic effects that do not affect its functionality or safety.
- Strictly follow the instructions for proper installation and connection to the electrical network.
- The installer must provide a device (e.g. magnetothermic switch) ensuring the omnipolar sectioning of the equipment from the power supply. The standards require a separation of the contacts of at least 3 mm in each pole (EN 60335-1).
- Installation requires mechanical and electrical skills, therefore it shall be carried out by qualified personnel only, who can issue the Compliance Certificate concerning the whole installation.
- The upstream electric system shall comply with the laws and rules in force.
- Do not install the product in explosive environments and atmospheres, the presence of inflammable gases or fumes is a serious safety hazard.

Packaging

If any of the parts are incorrect, missing, or damaged, contact the Parklio
support team.
Keep the carton, including the original packing materials, in case the product
needs to be returned for repair.

Installation
Wire connections
Connect the power source according to the input that is written on the side of the timer. For DC models use the connector 1 for the positive and connector 2 for the negative and for the AC models connect the Phase to connector 1 and connector 2 for the Neutral
Connecting to a generic device
- Connect a cable to the camera timer terminal (connect to terminals 3 and 4). Connection is not polarity sensitive.
- Connect the cable to the OPEN command input on the control electronics of the device.
Connecting to Parklio devices
Parklio Gate
Connect the timer terminals (terminals 3 and 4) to AP and COM terminals on the Gate control electronics.
Parklio Chain
Connect the camera timer terminals (terminals 3 and 4) to M6 and M11 terminals on the Chain control electronics.
Parklio Bollard
Connect the camera timer terminals (terminals 3 and 4) to LS (15) and COM (18) terminals on the Bollard control electronics.
Note:
When using the camera with the bollard, it is necessary to enable automatic closing (settings: P4 – AF) and to put the bollard into Condominium Mode (settings P7 – 02).
Programming
When the device is being operated after it has been out of power for a prolonged period of time or is being used for the first time make sure to press and hold the Reset button for 5 seconds after turning the power on the device.
Setting the current time
- Hold the clock icon and press the D+ button to change the day of the week
- Hold the clock icon and press the H+ button to change the hour
- Hold the clock icon and press the M+ button to change the minutes
Note:
In order to set the time to a 12 hour clock press and hold the clock icon for 3 seconds and AM will be displayed in the top left corner. After this the above mentioned steps can be repeated to adjust the current time.
Setting the activation time
- Press the P button to access the operation settings.
- Use the D+ button to select the days when the timer should be ON.*
- Adjust the activation time using the H+ and M+ buttons.
- Once the ON time is set, press the P button again to set the OFF time.
- Use the same procedure as before to adjust the OFF time
- Press the P button to save the OFF time and then click on the clock button to exit the operation settings or continue to add or adjust other activation times**
Note:
- List of possible days on which the timer will be activated: MO-FR, MO-SA, SA-SU, MO WE FR,TU TH SA, MO-WE, TH-SA
- It is possible to adjust up to 16 activation times on the timer.
Adjusting the switch
The switch has 4 settings which are changed by pressing the Manual button:
- ON-Ignores the programmed activation times and sets the switch in the ON state
- OFF-Ignores the programmed activation times and sets the switch in the ON state
- AUTO ON-The switch is set in the ON state and the activation time turns OFF the switch
- AUTO OFF-The switch is set in the OFF state and the activation time turns ON the switch
Sleep mode
In case the timer is not going to be used for a longer period of time and it will not be connected to the power source it is recommended to set it into sleep mode in order to save the backup battery.
To enter the sleep mode press and hold the D+ and H+ button for 3 seconds.
In order to exit the sleep mode it is necessary to connect the timer to a power source and press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
Turning the timer ON after it was set in sleep mode will delete all the settings that were made previously.
Factory reset
To return the timer to factory settings follow the instructions below:
- Connect the timer to a power source
- Press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds
- The timer will start running once the reset button is released
