BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Assembling your Vevor’s machine

Remove the VEVOR die cutting machine from the packaging.
With the machine facing towards you, remove the protective cap from the metal spindle on the right hand side of the machine.
Place the handle piece onto the spindle and insert the screw. Use an alien key to tighten.
Press the end plug over the screw.

DOING CUTTING PROJECTS

Place the 13mm white platform on a flat surface.
Cover with transparent adapter (5mm).
Place the cutting die on top with the cutting side facing up. Place suitable paper or cardstock on top.
Cover with a thin (3mm) transparent cutting plate
Keeping the stacked layers neatly arranged, place onto the base of the Vevor machine. Push the stack into the machine rotating the handle as the stack moves to the opposite side of the Vevor machine.
Remove the plates to reveal your cut image (may need to repeat previous step to ensure a clean cut through your card, this is perfectly normal and will be dependent on the type of card stock and die type)

Die cutting sandwich (when using intricate die designs)

Repeat as steps as above, however you may find you need to add 0.3mm transparent plastic sheet or one more layers of card stock to act as a spacer shim – you may need to experiment for best results.

DOING EMBOSSING PROJECTS

Place the 13mm white platform on a flat surface.
Cover with a thin (3mm) transparent cutting plate.
Place the embossing folder on the top part, with the chosen material inside.
Cover with a thin (3mm) transparent cutting plate.
Keeping the stacked layers neatly arranged, place onto the base of the Vevor machine. Push the stack into the machine rotating the handle as the stack moves to the opposite side of the Vevor machine.
Remove the plates to reveal your image.

USUAL QUESTION & ANSWER

Why does the transparent pad have traces once it is used?
• Plate warping can occur with die cutting and embossing – this is normal.
Rotate and turn the plates each time you use them to distribute the cut lines across the plate and prolong their life.
Can the cutting die of other brands fit this machine?
• The Vevor’s machine is compatible with most manufacturer’s embossing folders and dies.

WARNING!

Children should be supervised when using the Vevor’s machine. Take care when using dies and store away from children. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless under supervision or under instruction concerning the use of the appliance from a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with this appliance. This is not a toy.
Never force your sandwich into the Vevor’s machine. If the movement of the sandwich into or through the machine feels too tight, stop and check that your sandwich is correct and that the plates are evenly lined up and the sandwich is centred in the middle of the aperture of the Vevor’s machine. Attempting to use the incorrect sandwich or forcing the machine will cause damage to your machine and void your warranty.
Clean your Vevor’s machine with a slightly damp cloth only. Do not use harsh cleaning products or chemicals. Do not apply oil to any part of the mechanism. Do not immerse in water.
Do not open any part of the Vevor’s machine – this will void your warranty.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If you experience a poor cut/ embossing, try one or more of the following tips.

Check your layered sandwich of plates is correct.
After the stacked sandwich has emerged from the Vevor’s machine, reverse the rotation of the handle to cut/ emboss a second time.
Move the die and partially cut cardstock to the edge of the plate before running through the Vevor’s machine again.
Add one or more shims of cardstock under the die / embossing folder to increase the thickness of the sandwich. Always start with a single thin paper shim only.
Transparent pad is often recommended to change the use of the other side.
