VISUAL COMFORT ARN 4172 Liscia Large Flush Mount
Product Information
The Liscia Large Flush Mount (Item # ARN 4172) is a light fixture that
requires assembly before installation. It comes with 160 pieces of Crystal G,
60 pieces of Crystal H, 12 pieces of Crystal I, and 42 pieces of Crystal J.
The package also includes pliers for crystal assembly.
The light fixture requires bulbs, which are not included in the package. The
product should be installed in accordance with all applicable local
installation codes by a person familiar with the construction and operation of
it and the hazards involved.

Product Usage Instructions
- Inspect the item and contents carefully. Do not install if any damage or defect is found.
- Remove all parts from the box and place them on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove mounting plate (B) from canopy (E) by removing threaded nuts (F).
- Using mounting plate (C) as a guide, line up with the junction box and mark anchor positions.
- Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes in the marked positions. Install anchors (T) into the holes using a hammer.
- Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with mounting screws (D), then secure wood screws (U) to anchors (T).
- Run support cable through the hole on the back of the mounting plate (B). Loosen M.
- Make wire connections tight and carefully tuck them into the junction box.
- Install canopy (E) to mounting plate (B) and secure with threaded nuts (F).
- Install light bulbs into sockets.
- For crystal assembly, use diagrams labeled Layer 1 – Layer 3:
- Hang crystals (I, J & H) to the bottom ring (Layer 1) starting from inside and working your way out. Secure using provided pliers.
- Hang the rest of the crystals (H) onto rings from medium (Layer 2) and work your way to the top ring (layer 3). Secure using provided pliers.
- Hang crystals (G) to the bottom ring (Layer 1), working your way to the top ring (layer 3). Secure using provided pliers.
- Thread finial (L) to nipple (K).
Care Instructions
Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or
chemical agents.

NOTICE:
This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable,
local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and
operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. Inspect items and contents
carefully. If any damage or defect is found, do not install it. Retain all
packaging material until installation is complete and approved.

- Phillips Screwdriver
- Slotted Screwdriver
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

Remove mounting plate (B) from canopy (E) by removing threaded nuts (F).

Using mounting plate (C) as a guide, line up with the junction box and mark anchor positions.

Using a drill bit slightly smaller than the anchor, drill holes in the marked positions. Install anchors (T) into the holes using a hammer.

Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with mounting screws (D), then secure wood screws (U) to anchors (T).

Run support cable through hole on back of the mounting plate (B). Loosen the cable lock and install to the end of the support cable. Insert the other end of the cable through the cable lock and tighten the ends with a screwdriver to secure.(see diagram 2)

Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A).
NOTE : It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. -
Connect fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).

Connect fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using the wire nut (A).
CAUTION : Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. -
Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.

Install canopy (E) to mounting plate (B) and secure with threaded nuts (F).

Install light bulbs into sockets.

Crystal Assembly
Use diagrams labeled Layer 1
Layer 3 to complete crystal assembly below:
- Hang crystals (I, J & H) to the bottom ring (Layer 1) starting from inside and working your way out. Secure using provided pliers.
- Hang the rest of the crystals (H) onto rings from medium (Layer 2) and work your way to the top ring (layer 3). Secure using provided pliers.
- Hang crystals (G) to the bottom ring (Layer 1), working your way to the top ring (layer 3). Secure using provided pliers.
- Thread finial (L) to nipple (K).
