The Goodyear car compressor is designed to inflate car tires when powered by the 12V cafes on-board network. The compressor can also be used to inflate inflatable boats, mattresses, balls, wheels of prams and toys, the set includes the appropriate adapters. Please read this manual carefully before using.

ATTENTION!

• Don1 take the device apart. Do not repair it yourself. If necessary. contact a specialized service center for repair.
• Avoid moisture entering the compressor surface. In the event of water or other liquids ingress, stop work immediately, disconnect the power supply from the on-board power supply, and then completely dry the unit.
• Do not leave the unit running unattended.
• Only connect the compressor to a 12V DC mains voltage.
• Don’t touch the compressor cabinet after prolonged operation, the cabinet may become hot, use the special handle to carry the compressor.
• Save the compressor from dropping.

Operation recommendations

• Only connect the compressor to a 12 V DC voltage supply.
• Do not exceed continuous compressor run lime (see technical data sheet).
• The compressor must be cooled down for 15 minutes after each 30 minute session.
• When using the compressor, regardless of the way the compressor is powered (cigarette lighter/battery), ii is advisable to leave the vehicle engine on to avoid discharging the battery. In addition, the efficiency of the compressor is higher when the engine is running.

Caution!
It is recommended that the compressor be switched on before connecting the hose to the wheel nipple to reduce the current surge at the start of operation, otherwise, switching on the compressor with the hose already connected to the nipple may disable the fuse of the compressor or the vehicle.

Preparing the compressor for operation
Before connecting the compressor to the on-board power supply, make sure the power supply switch is in the “0”rOff’ position. Plug the plug into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket. Place the compressor on a flat, dry area to prevent moisture from falling or entering.
To prevent overheating, keep the compressor hose in the straightened state.
WORK ORDER
Tire Inflation

• Connect the compressor to the cigarette lighter socket.
• Set the compressor mains switch to 11111f 1ON11
• Connect the hose chuck to the tire spool.
• When the desired pressure level is reached, according to the pressure gauge, move the mains switch to the “0”/”OFF” position.
• Disconnect the compressor from the power supply and the compressor hose chuck from the slide valve.

USAGE

1. Place the compressor unit on a flat surface near the tire.
2. Insert the cigarette lighter plug in the 12V DC power socket of the car. Turn on the car engine so that the compressor can derive the required current from the car battery.
3. Select the pressure measurement unit (PSI/Bar/KPNKgcm3) by pressing the set Middle button.
4. Increase or decrease the tire pressure to be set by pressing the’+’ & ‘-‘buttons. Once the desired pressure shows on the screen, wait for 2-3 seconds till it stops blinking and gets set as the target pressure.
5. Turn on the switch of the compressor and it will start pumping air into the tire.
6. Screw on the nozzle of the air hose to the air valve of the tire securely. Make sure the connection is tight.
7. Once me tire pressure reaches the ‘target’ setting, the compressor will switch of automatically.
8. Uncouple the compressor nozzle from the tire valve. Allow the unit to cool.

Safety measures

• Inflate the tyres to the level recommended by the tyre and car manufacturer.
• Clean the surface of the compressor regularly with a dry cloth from dirt and dust.

Repair and maintenance

• Compressor piston chamber, parts and mechanisms do not require additional lubrication.
• All repairs should be carried out exclusively by specialized service centers.
