VAXCEL C0285 Pendant Light

Product Information

The product is a light fixture that requires assembly and installation. It comes with a hardware package that includes a mounting plate unit, mounting screw, wire connector, bolt nut, and fixture mounting screw. The fixture has a maximum allowed wattage of 60W Type B bulb (not included) and comes with a 1-year warranty against defects in workmanship and finishes. The product also includes spare parts that can be re-ordered if damaged or missing.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before installing the fixture, consult local electrical codes for wiring and grounding requirements.
2. Turn off the power at the fuse or circuit box to avoid the risk of electrical shock.
3. Cut the H plastic buckles with scissors when taking down the PE bags.
4. Remove the mounting plate unit (A) from the fixture by unscrewing two bolt nuts (D).
5. Attach the mounting plate unit (A) to the outlet box using two mounting screws (B).
6. Attach the canopy to the mounting plate unit (A) by inserting the fixture mounting screws, then secure it with two bolt nuts (D).
7. Install bulbs (not included) according to the relamping label at the socket area or packaging for maximum allowed wattage.
8. Turn on the power at the fuse or circuit box.
9. If any spare parts are needed due to damage or missing parts, refer to the spare parts list and re-order as necessary.

Note: Failure to follow these instructions may result in damage to the fixture or injury. Also, usage with improper power supply, power surges or dips, or operation in temperatures outside of the range specified in the instruction manual may void the warranty.

Installation Steps

Turn off the power at fuse or circuit box

1. Cut the “H” plastic buckles with scissor when take down the PE bags. (See Fig.1)
2. Remove the mounting plate unit (A) from fixture by unscrewing two bolt nuts (D).
3. Attach the mounting plate unit (A) to the outlet box by using two mounting screws (B).
4. Pull out the source wires from the outlet box. Make wire connections using wire connectors (C) as follows:
   • Connect the hot wire (black insulation) from the fixture to the black wire from the power source.
   • Connect the neutral wire (white insulation) from the fixture to the white wire from the power source.
   • Attach the fixture ground wire (bare wire) to the mounting plate unit (A) with the green ground screw. Then connect it to the house ground wire with the wire connector (C). Carefully put the wires back into the outlet box.
5. Attach the canopy to the mounting plate unit (A) by inserting the fixture mounting screws, then secure it with two bolt nuts (D).
6. Install bulbs (not included). See relamping label at socket area or packaging for maximum allowed wattage.

Vaxcel warrants all of our products against defects in workmanship and finishes for one year following the date of shipment.

Exclusions: This warranty does not include the failure of products from extreme acts of nature; environmental conditions not suited for the products intended use; operation in temperatures outside of the range specified in the instruction manual; usage with improper power supply, power surges or dips. For coastal locations, some corrosion is considered normal for the environment. Vaxcel reserves the right to repair, replace or issue a credit for any properly installed product, provided it is returned per RMA instruction. This warranty is limited to the cost of the product only and does not extend to transportation, installation or replacement costs.
