Product Information
The product is a portable lamp with a polarized plug designed for indoor use. The lamp is designed to be assembled on a flat surface and is intended for use with bulbs that are within the wattage limit specified by the manufacturer. The lamp is intended for installation in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before starting assembly, ensure that all parts and part packages are available and that nothing is missing. If anything is missing, contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
- Remove the cord from the base (G) and pull it taut. Screw the stem at the bottom of the socket cluster (A) onto the top of the base (G).
- Screw the bottom of the pipe (B) into the center of the socket cluster (A).
- Lower the shade (D) down over the pipe (B). Pass the hole in the top of the shade (D) over the top of the pipe (B).
- Carefully screw the finial (E) onto the end of the pipe (B). Do not over tighten.
- Screw the recommended bulbs (not included) into sockets (A). Ensure that the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of the lamp is not exceeded.
- After assembly, only plug in the lamp. Do not attempt to plug in the lamp before assembly is complete.
- To prevent shock, do not use an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted. Also, ensure that the polarized plug fits in a polarized outlet only one way. If it does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.

WARNING: This fixture is intended for installation in accordance with the
National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are
not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician
is recommended.
CAUTION: To prevent shock, only plug in lamp after lamp assembly is
complete.
WARNING: This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an
extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not attempt to work
around this safety feature.
Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from box. If anything is
missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
- Carefully pull cord outward from base (G). Pull cord taut. Screw stem at bottom of socket cluster (A) onto top of base (G).
- Screw bottom of pipe (B) into center of socket cluster (A).
- Lower shade (D) down over pipe (B). Pass hole in top of shade (D) over top of pipe (B).
- Carefully screw finial (E) onto end of pipe (B). Tighten finial (E) to secure shade (D) in place. DO NOT over tighten.
- Screw recommended bulbs (not included) into sockets (A). WARNING: Verify correct bulb wattage marked on socket of lamp. DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
