Product Information

Product Usage Instructions
- Disconnect the refrigerator from all power sources (120 VAC and 12 VDC).
- Using the switch panel as a template, cut a rectangular opening in the refrigerator enclosure at the bottom vent area.
- Insert the rocker switch into the opening of the switch panel and push towards the switch panel until it snaps in place.
- Connect the wires according to the wiring diagram provided in the kit.
- The rocker switch should remain in the on position while the vehicle is stationary for optimal cooling performance. Failure to follow this warning could result in a failed cooling unit and/or void the warranty.

Installation

Use care when diagnosing and/or adjusting components on a powered unit.
Failure to obey this warning could result in death or serious injury.
The rocker switch should be installed in an accessible area. Dometic recommends installing it near the bottom vent opening of the refrigerator.

- Disconnect the refrigerator from all power sources (120 VAC and 12 VDC).
- Using the switch panel as a template, cut a rectangular opening in the refrigerator enclosure at the bottom vent area.
- Insert the rocker switch into the opening of the switch panel and push towards the switch panel until it snaps in place.

- Attach the red wire to either terminal of the rocker switch.
- Attach the red wire with the fuse holder to the remaining terminal of the rocker switch.
- Use the screws to secure the switch panel to the mounting location.
- Route both wires to the bottom rear of the refrigerator. Remove the fuse from the fuse holder and set aside.
- Connect the rocker switch wiring according to the wiring diagram.
- Verify that all the wiring connections are secure and that the wiring will not contact sharp edges or hot surfaces.
- Keep the wiring diagram from the service kit with the wiring diagram for the refrigerator.
- Install the fuse in the fuse holder.
- Reconnect the power supply.
