Product Information
The Comtesse Monopoint Flush Mount Light Fixture, item number PCD4120, is a sleek and modern lighting solution for any room. This light fixture should be installed in accordance with all applicable, local installation codes, and by a person familiar with the construction and operation of it, as well as the hazards involved. The fixture includes a mounting plate (B), canopy (D), and fixture body. The light fixture is designed to be wired directly to a junction box. The fixture ground wire is bare copper.
Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.
- Remove mounting plate (B) and canopy (D) from fixture body by unscrewing.
- Install mounting plate (B) to junction box and secure with mounting screws (C).
- Feed electrical and ground wires through canopy (D), then gently rest on top of fixture body.
- Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. Separate wires, and strip insulation on each 5/8 inch.
- Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw located on the mounting plate (B). Tighten screw to secure the wire.
- Connect fixture wires to corresponding wires in the junction box using wire connectors. Connect black to black, white to white, and ground wire to ground wire.
- Tuck wires into junction box and attach canopy (D) to mounting plate (B).
- Thread fixture body onto mounting plate (B) and tighten screws to secure.
Care Instructions:
Clean the Comtesse Monopoint Flush Mount Light Fixture only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents.

- Wire Strippers
- Slotted Screwdriver
- Wire Cutters
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS

Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface.

Remove mounting plate (B) and canopy (D) from the fixture body by unscrewing.

Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with mounting screws (C).

Feed electrical and ground wires through canopy (D), then gently rest on top of the fixture body.

Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. Separate wires, and strip insulation on each 5/8”.

Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A).
NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. -
Connect the fixture neutral wire (white) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).

Connect the fixture hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A).
CAUTION : Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections. -
Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck them into the junction box.

Attach canopy (D) to mounting plate (B), then thread fixture body to mounting plate (B).
Care Instructions
