LAVA ME Play Acoustic Electric Guitar
Product Information
The LAVA ME is a smart acoustic guitar with a length of 925mm and a weight of 1890g. It features a tuner nut, neck, headstock truss rod, body bridge output jack, soundhole saddle, L3 Smart Preamp, strap button, and multi-touch display. The guitar also comes with the HILAVA operating system and various built-in features such as a tuner, recorder, effects, practice tools, and loops. The LAVA ME has a body configuration that includes the L3 Smart Preamp and charging port.
Product Usage Instructions
Activate Your LAVA ME
To activate your LAVA ME, turn it on by pressing and holding the power
button for three seconds until the LAVA logo appears on the screen. Once the
guitar is on, you can use the touchscreen to navigate through the HILAVA
operating system and access different features such as the tuner, recorder,
effects, practice tools, and loops.
Restring Your LAVA ME
To restring your LAVA ME, remove the old strings and replace them with new
ones. Follow the stringing instructions provided in the user manual or seek
assistance from a professional if needed.
Adjust the Truss Rod of Your LAVA ME
If the guitar neck becomes warped or bowed due to lack of proper
maintenance, you need to adjust the truss rod. Use a truss rod wrench to make
adjustments as needed. Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions or
seek assistance from a professional if needed.
Fine Tune Your LAVA ME
To fine tune the string action according to your preference, use the saddle
height adjustment screws located on the bridge. Turn them clockwise to lower
the saddle or counterclockwise to raise it. Refer to the user manual for
detailed instructions or seek assistance from a professional if needed.
Charge Your LAVA ME
To charge your LAVA ME, use the Space Charging Dock for LAVA ME 4 or
AirFlow Wireless Charger for LAVA ME play. Keep the guitar with an 80% battery
for long-term storage and discharge the battery and recharge it 80% monthly to
maintain its activity. Avoid extreme ambient temperatures and do not cover
your guitar or use its touchscreen while charging.
Important Safety Information
It is important to keep the HILAVA system up to date to make your guitar battery last longer. Avoid disassembling or reconditioning the battery to avoid component leakage. If leakage occurs, stay away from the guitar immediately. If you notice a swollen battery, leaking acid or gas, or a stuck power button on the guitar, discontinue using it and contact support and maintenance.

Basic Gestures for LAVA ME
You may use the following gestures to interact more quickly and more accurately with your LAVA ME.

Tap
Tap the screen with one finger. -
Swipe
Move one finger swiftly across the screen -
Scroll
Move one finger across the screen without lifting it. For example, in “Loops”, you can drag the list up and down to view more content. Swipe to scroll quickly, touch the screen to stop scrolling -
Zoom
Place two fingers close together on the screen, move them apart to zoom in and move them together to zoom out. You can also double-tap a photo to zoom in and double-tap again to zoom out. -
Quick Access to Control Panel
Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the control center. -
Back to Home Screen / Open App Switcher
Swipe up from the bottom edge and release to go back to the home screen. Swipe up from the bottom edge and pause in the middle of the screen, then lift your finger from the screen to open App Switcher. Swipe right to select the App you want to use.

Charge Your LAVA ME
Battery Charging
Please charge LAVA ME using the USB-C charging cable (included) and a USB-C
adapter.
You can also charge with USB-C cable and adapter that meet applicable
national/regional regulations and safety standards. ****
Charging Display
The battery icon at the upper right corner of the screen displays the battery
level or charging status. If you use LAVA ME while charging, it may take
longer to get fully charged . If the battery level Of LAVA ME is extremely
low, the following icon will be displayed when charging.
The capacity and performance Of all rechargeable batteries will decrease as
time goes by. For battery health, please minimize the use of the HILAVA system
while charging. Charging may be suspended for protection when the temperature
is too high. Please charge after it cools down.
Restring Your LAVA ME
When the strings have been used for too long, you may need to replace them
with new ones.
- Loosen the string by turning the tuners, and remove them from the tuning post
- Pull out the bridge pins and remove the strings out of the bridge holes. If the strings are hard to remove from bridge holes. push them into the soundbox. and reach from inside the soundhole to pull them out.
- Put the ball end of the string in a bridge hole, then insert the bridge pin with its groove over the string
- push the bridge pin in and gently pull the string to make sure it is locked in place.
- pass the other end of the string through the hole of tuning post and tighten it by turning the tuner. Make sure the string is inserted towards the right direction to guarantee correct tuning.
Adjust the Truss Rod of Your LAVA ME
If the guitar neck becomes warped or bowed due to lack of proper maintenance, you need to adjust the truss rod.
Fine Tune Your LAVA ME
It is not necessary to adjust the neck generally, but you can fine tune the
string action according to your preference.
Please polish the saddle gradually and re-install to test for the right height. Make sure not to over-polish, as a saddle too low may attect the playing experience.

Maintenance
TO avoid damage caused by improper handling, never disassemble the L3 Smart
Preamp or the guitar body without professional assistance. It the L3 Smart
Preamp Or the body malfunctions or is damaged, please contact LAVA MUSIC or an
authorized dealer. Repairs made by a service provider other than OXVA MUSIC or
authorized dealers may affect the safety and functionality Of the device as
the guitar body and the L3 Smart Preamp may not be handled properly. You can

Battery and Electronic Components
Never try to replace the lithium-ion battery in the L3 Smart Preamp without
professional assistance. The replacement of lithium-ion battery in the L3
Smart Preamp should be operated by LAVA MUSIC or an authorized dealer.
Improper replacements or maintenance may result in overheating and damage the
battery. Since the L3 Smart Preamp contains highly sensitive electronic
components, please keep it in within -200C-450C, and operate it within OOC-
400C. To avoid damage, never smash, burn, step on it, or expose it to highly
concentrated industrial chemicals.
Cable Charging
When you charge the LAVA ME with charging cable, avoid high temperature
environment and overcharging for an extended period Of time. It is recommended
to charge with LJSB-C cable and adapter that meet applicable national /
regional regulations and safety standards.
Wireless Charging
When you use the Wire ess Airflow Charger to charge LAVA ME, make sure to
place the guitar properly and firmly. Charge within -200C-350C and with
adapters that meet applicable national / regional regulations and safety
standards. The built-in temperature-sensitive electronic components may stop
working when exposed to high temperature for an extended period, and resume
operating when the temperature is back to normal.

Battery Use and Care Tips

Keep the HILAVA system up to date
To make your guitar battery last longer, make sure it runs the latest HILAVA system, which often features battery optimization. -
Avoid extreme ambient temperatures
- Do not expose the battery to any heat or use the touchscreen in direct sunlight, inside a hot car, near a fire or heater, etc.
- Do not cover your guitar or use its touchscreen while charging. If not, it might overheat the battery and affect battery life. 3. Avoid full or low battery when not in use
- Unplug the charging stand* if you want to keep your guitar on it after fully charged.
- Turn your guitar off if not using the touchscreen.
- Keep your guitar with an 80% battery for long-term storage. Discharge the battery and recharge it 80% monthly to maintain its activity.
