LEXUS RX450 Carplay Android Auto interface
Product Information: Carplay Android Auto Interface for Lexu
RX450 2010-2012 with Mouse Control
The Carplay Android Auto Interface is a device that can be connected to the
radio and display of your Lexus RX450 2010-2012 model with mouse control. The
interface allows you to access features of your smartphone such as maps,
music, and messaging on the car’s display screen. It is estimated that the
installation process will take around 45-60 minutes of work and no programming
is necessary.
Product Usage Instructions
Follow the below instructions carefully to install the Carplay Android Auto Interface:
- Remove the rear seat cover panel (unclip) and click the center console cover panel off. Unplug the connector on the unit and connect it to the contra connector of the Vline connection cable.
- Remove the display (unclip) by pulling out the bezel of the display. Start in the lower right corner and work carefully towards the remaining corners. Pull out the video plug and connect it to the contrast plug of the Vline’s video cable. Reconnect the video connector to the display. Unscrew the display (3 screws) and put it in a safe place.
- Remove the center panel (pull up) by unclipping it on the side of the storage compartment and pulling it up. Unscrew the gear lever knob to remove the panel. Pull out the 5 connectors and place the panel in a safe place.
- Remove the edge of the center armrest (pull off) and unplug the edge. Remove the three screws from the side panel.
- Drill a hole for cable transit. Remove the storage compartment in the center console, underneath is a large space for placing the Vline. Drill a hole for cable pass-through. Make sure that the hole is in a place where the cables are not an obstacle to the center console.
- Pull the cables to the storage compartment and route the cable from the back of the center console through the inside of the side panel to the transit hole. Route the video cable and microphone cable behind the radio to the transit hole. The radio can stay in place using a pull cable.
- Connect the plugs to the interface. Make sure that the video cable does not kink at the connection point on the interface.
- Test the system by connecting the interface. Choose USB or HDD-AUX to switch from the radio to the Vline. Remove and forget the existing Bluetooth connection to the car. Connect your phone to the Bluetooth signal of the interface and turn on WIFI. Test the system with respect to graphics, sound, swapping between radio and interface and backwards.
- Reconnect all components in reverse order. For example, place the microphone in the indicated position.

The interface is connected to the radio and the display. It is estimated that
it takes 45-60 minutes of work to connect the interface. No programming is
necessary.
Installation

Step 1. Remove the rear seat cover panel (unclip)
Click the center console cover panel off. Unplug the connector on the unit and connect it to the contra connector of the Vline connection cable. -
Step 2. Remove the display (unclip)
Pull out the bezel of the display. Start in the lower right corner and work carefully towards the remaining corners. Pull out the video plug and connect it to the contrast plug of the Vline’s video cable. Reconnect the video connector to the display. Unscrew the display (3 screws) and put it in a safe place. -

Step 8. Test the system Connect the interface.
Choose USB or HDD-AUX to switch from the radio to the Vline. Remove and forget the existing bluetooth connection to the car. Connect the phone to the bluetooth signal of the interface and turn on WIFI. Test the system with respect to graphics, sound, scchopping between radio and interface and backwards. -
Step 9. Reconnect the system
Reconnect all components in reverse order. For example, place the microphone in the indicated position. -
