Product Information

The PS 2035 is a cordless electric power sander that weighs approximately 2.5 kg and comes with a B50 Li (ABP118L25) 18V/20V max. 2.5 Ah 45 Wh battery. It has an LpA of 45.40 dB(A), K = 3 dB(A), LwA of 56.40 dB(A), K = 3 dB(A), and ah, d = 0.182 m/s2 (K = 1.5 m/s2). Product Usage Instructions

Akku laden

1. Connect the charging cable to the battery charger and plug it into a power source.
2. Insert the battery into the charger until it clicks in place.
3. The LED on the charger will indicate when the battery is fully charged.

1. Press the release button on the battery and slide it into the battery compartment until it clicks in place.
2. To remove the battery, press the release button and slide it out of the compartment.

Arbeitsverhalten und Arbeitstechnik
When using the power sander, ensure that your work area is clean and free of any hazards. Always wear eye protection, gloves, safety shoes, and a face mask when using the sander. Hold the sander firmly with both hands and move it in a back-and-forth motion over the surface you are sanding.

Clean the sander after each use to prevent dust and debris buildup. Store the sander and battery in a cool, dry place when not in use.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Designated use
This appliance is intended for the spraying of household and garden chemicals for domestic use, such as insecticides, fungicides, weed killers, and fertilizers in non-commercial applications, and may only be employed outdoors and in well-ventilated areas. The appliance can also be used for the watering of plants. Any use not in accordance with this designated use shall be regarded as misuse. Only work with the appliance when it is fully assembled. This appliance is intended solely for use in noncommercial applications. Any other use (as well as unauthorized conversions or add-ons) are regarded as contrary to the intended use and will result in the exclusion of the warranty as well as the loss of conformity (CE mark); the manufacturer will thus decline any responsibility for damage and/or injury suffered by the user or third parties.

Possible foreseeable misuse
The tool is designed neither for commercial use in public parks and sports facilities nor for use in farming and forestry.

Residual risks
Even during the correct use of the appliance, there is always a certain residual risk that cannot be excluded. Depending on the use, the following potential risks can be derived from the type and
construction of the appliance:

• Injury due to the inhalation of the sprayed chemicals if a face mask is not worn.
• Injury due to contact with eyes and skin if eye protection and suitable protective equipment is not worn.
• Electric shock. Never spray liquids in the direction of plug sockets, cables or electrical appliances.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General Power Tool Safety Warnings
WARNING!
Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.

• Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
• The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mains-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

Work area safety

• Keep the work area clean and well-lit. Cluttered and dark areas invite accidents.
• Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of flammable liquids, gases or dust. Power tools create sparks that may ignite dust or fumes.
• Keep children and bystanders away while operating a power tool. Distractions can cause you to lose control.

Electrical safety

• Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodified plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
• Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
• Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
• Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
• When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.

If operating a power tools in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

Personal safety

• Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may result in serious personal injury.
• Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
• Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before connecting to a power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools with your finger on the switch or energizing power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.
• Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the power tool may result in personal injury.
• Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected situations.
• Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair, clothing and gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
• If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of these devices can reduce dust-related hazards.

Operator

Young people under 16 years of age and people who do not know the operating instructions are not allowed to use the appliance.

Observe any country-specific safety
regulations concerning the minimum age of the user.

• Do not operate the appliance if you are under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication.

Power tool use and care

• Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
• Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or the battery pack from the power tool before making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools. Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the power tool accidentally.
• Store idle power tools out of the reach of children and do not allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instructions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
• Maintain power tools. Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation. If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
• Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc. in accordance with these instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power tool for operations of different from those intended could result in a hazardous situation.

Battery tool use and care

• Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charter that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack.
• Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, lie paperclips paperclips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
• Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected form the battery may cause irritation or burns.

Service
Have your power tool serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Safety information regarding the rechargeable battery
This section mentions all the basic safety instructions to be heeded when using the rechargeable battery. Read these instructions.

• Remove the rechargeable battery from the power tool before starting any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change), before transport and before storage.
• Only use the rechargeable battery as designated, i.e. for AL-KO rechargeable battery-driven appliances. Only charge the rechargeable battery with the AL-KO charging unit provided.
• Only unpack the new rechargeable battery from the original packaging when it is to be used.
• Fully charge the rechargeable battery before using it for the first time and always use the specified charging unit. Comply with the details given in these instructions for use for charging the rechargeable battery.
• Do not use the rechargeable battery in environments where there is a potential risk of explosion and/or fire.
• Do not expose the rechargeable battery to moisture and humidity when in use with the appliance.
• Protect the rechargeable battery from heat, oil and fire to prevent it from being damaged so no vapours and electrolyte liquids can escape. There is a danger of an explosion!
• Do not subject the rechargeable battery to impact or throw it.

Do not use the rechargeable battery when soiled or wet. Before use, clean and dry the rechargeable battery with a dry, clean cloth.

• When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects to prevent bridging the contacts (e.g. paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws). Do not use sharp objects (e.g. a screwdriver) to work on the battery. This can cause an internal short circuit which can lead to overheating, fire or explosion of the battery.
• Do not open, dismantle or crush the rechargeable battery. There is a danger of electric shock and short-circuit.
• An improperly used and damaged rechargeable battery can cause vapors and electrolyte liquid to escape. Vent the room adequately and in the case of any disorders, consult a doctor.
• If accidental contact with electrolyte liquid occurs, flush with water and thoroughly rinse the eyes immediately. Then consult a doctor.
• This rechargeable battery must not be used by unauthorized persons unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have been instructed on how to use the rechargeable battery. Unauthorized persons include, for example:
• Persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental aptitude.
• Persons who have no experience and/or knowledge of the rechargeable battery.
• Children must be supervised and instructed so they do not play with the rechargeable battery.
• Do not leave the rechargeable battery permanently in the charger. For prolonged storage, remove the rechargeable battery from the charger.
• When not in use, remove the rechargeable batteries from the operated appliances.
• Dry the unused rechargeable battery and store in a closed place. Protect from heat and direct sunlight. Unauthorized persons and children must not have access to the rechargeable battery.

Safety information regarding the charging unit
This section mentions all the basic safety and warning information to be heeded when using the charging unit. Read these instructions.

• Only use the charging unit as designated, i.e. for charging the intended rechargeable batteries. Only charge the original rechargeable batteries from AL-KO in the charging unit.
• Before each use, inspect the charging unit – and especially the mains cable and the rechargeable battery compartment – for damage. Only use the charging unit when it is in proper working order.
• Do not use the charging unit in environments where there is a potential risk of explosion and/or fire.
• Only operate the charging unit indoors and do not expose it to moisture and humidity.
• Always place the charging unit on a well-ventilated and non-inflammable surface because it heats up during the charging process. Keep the ventilation slots clear and do not cover the charging unit.
• Before connecting the charging unit, make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated in the “Technical data”.
• Only use the mains cable for connecting the charging unit, not for any other purpose. Do not carry the charging unit by the mains cable and do not remove the power plug from the power outlet by pulling on the mains cable.
• Protect the mains cable from heat, oil and sharp edges to prevent it being damaged.
• Do not use the charging unit and rechargeable battery when soiled or wet. Before using the charging unit, clean and dry the rechargeable battery.
• Do not open the charging unit or rechargeable battery. There is a danger of electric shock and short-circuit.
• For your own safety, only have the charging unit repaired by qualified specialist personnel using genuine spare parts.
• This appliance can be used by children of 8 years and older and by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or those lacking experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed with regard to the safe use of the appliance and the ensuing risks. Children must not be allowed to play with the appliance. Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
• People with very strong and complex restrictions may have needs that exceed the instructions described here. Dry the unused charging unit and store in a closed place. Unauthorised persons and children must not have access to the charging unit.

Safety instructions for plant sprayers

• Do not spray flammable liquids, such as petrol, to reduce the risk of fire or explosion.
• Use only water-based lawn and garden chemicals.
• Do not use chemicals intended for commercial or industrial purposes.
• The danger of electric shock. Do not spray in the direction of plug sockets.
• The spraying area must be well-ventilated.
• Do not spray where there are sparks, naked flames or other ignition sources.
• Be aware of all possible risks posed by the spraying material, the individual chemicals and possible combinations.
• Do not use any of the following liquids with the appliance, as they can damage metal parts, tank or hose:
• Caustic (alkaline)
• Corrosive
• Self-heating
• Follow the chemicals manufacturer’s instructions on use, cleaning and storage printed on the product label at all times. Chemicals must be stored out of the reach of children.
• Do not spray any materials whose possible hazards are unknown.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, such as a face mask suitable for spraying, gloves and other protective equipment to reduce the exposure to the sprayed materials.
• Avoid any skin and eye contact with the chemicals or the mixed spraying solution and the inhalation of the vapours and spray mist. In the event of contact, take the following measures immediately:
• Wash the skin thoroughly with soap and water.
• Rinse out the eyes thoroughly with water.
• In the event of irritation, obtain medical advice.
• Do not pour hot or boiling liquids into the tank. These could weaken or damage the hose or tank.
• Do not smoke, eat or drink while using the appliance.
• Take measures to ensure that persons or animals do not remain in the area in which you are spraying.

Appliance safety

• Use the appliance only under the following conditions:
• The appliance is not soiled.
• The appliance shows no signs of damage.
• All controls function properly.
• Do not overload the device. It is intended for light work in the private sector. Overload can lead to damage to the appliance.
• Never operate the appliance with worn or defective parts. Always replace defective parts with original spare parts from the manufacturer. If the appliance is operated with worn or defective parts, guarantee claims against the manufacturer are excluded.
• NOTE
  Repair work is only allowed to be carried out by expert workshops or our service centers.

INSTALLATION

WARNING!

• Danger if the assembly is not carried out completely!
• Operation of an incompletely assembled appliance can result in serious injury.
• Only operate the appliance when it is fully assembled.
• Do not insert the battery into the appliance until it is fully assembled.
• Check that all safety and protective devices are in place and functioning correctly before switching on.

Attachment of spray lance (02)

1. Fit nut, connector and O-ring to the end of spray lance (02/1).
2. Push the end of the spray lance (02/1) into handle (02/2) and screw tight with the connector (02/3). Pay attention to the correct seating of the O-ring.
3.  Screw nut onto the connector and fasten the fingertight.

Attachment of spraying hose (03)

• Connect spray hose to handle:
• Screw the connector (03/1) onto the handle (03/2).
• Push the hose end (03/3) into the connector (03/1) and screw tight with the nut.

Connect the spray hose to the tank
Push the second hose end (03/4) into the tank connector (03/5) and screw tight with the nut.

Attaching and adjusting shoulder strap (04)

1. Align the shoulder strap (04/1) on the appliance so that buckle (04/2) will be in front of the operator.
2. Hook the snap hooks (04/3) of the shoulder strap into the eyes (04/4) on the spraying appliance.
3. Hang the entire appliance over the shoulder using the shoulder strap. The buckle must be in front of the operator.
4. Adjust the buckle until the desired position is reached.

START-UP
Charging the rechargeable battery
CAUTION!
The danger of fire during charging! Due to the heating of the charger, there is a danger of fire if it is placed on an inflammable surface and is not adequately ventilated. Always use the charger on a non-inflammable surface or in a non-combustible environment. If available: Keep the ventilation slots free.

NOTE
The rechargeable battery and the charging unit are not included. The rechargeable battery is partially charged. Fully charge the rechargeable battery before using it for the first time. The rechargeable battery can be charged in any charge status. Interrupting charging does not damage the rechargeable battery.

Inserting and removing the rechargeable battery (06)
Inserting the rechargeable battery (06) Push the rechargeable battery (06/1) into the rechargeable battery slot (06/2) until it engages (06/a).

Removing the rechargeable battery (06)

1.  Press and hold the unlock button (06/3) on the rechargeable battery (06/1).
2. Remove the rechargeable battery (06/b).

• Only operate the appliance when it is fully assembled.
• Do not insert the battery into the appliance until it is fully assembled.
• Check that all safety and protective devices are in place and functioning correctly before switching on.

Mixing the spraying solution
WARNING!
Risk of injury Mix the chemicals strictly according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Incorrect mixtures can result in toxic vapors or explosive solutions.

• Prepare the spraying solution only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area.
• The spraying solution must be as fluid as water.
• Mix only the amount of spraying solution that you need for the work to be carried out.
• Do not mix different chemicals unless such a mixture is permitted by the manufacturer.

Filling tank (07)
Fill the tank only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. Before you fill the tank with spraying solution, carry out a test run with fresh water and check all the parts of the spraying appliance.

1. Unscrew the measuring beaker (07/1). The filler neck (07/2) is open.
2. Place the spraying appliance on a level surface. Do not fill the tank above the Maximum mark (07/3).
3. After filling the tank, screw the measuring beaker (07/1) securely onto the filler neck (07/2).
4. Attach a sign to the spraying appliance showing what chemicals are being used.

1. Loosen spray nozzle (05/1) (05/a).

1. Hold the spraying appliance at the handle (01/3) or hang it over the shoulder using the shoulder strap.
2.  Press the ON/OFF switch (01/7). The appliance is switched on.

CAUTION!
Risk of injury
Contact with harmful spraying materials can result in injuries. After every use, thoroughly wash your hands and the area where the skin was exposed to the spray mist. Press the operating button (08/1) on the handle (08/2) (08/a). Release the operating button (08/1) (08/b) to stop spraying. Switching off the appliance Press the ON/OFF switch (01/7). The appliance is switched off.

WORKING BEHAVIOUR AND WORKING TECHNIQUE

• Aim the spray nozzle directly at the plants or objects that you wish to spray.
• Do not use the appliance in windy weather. The spraying materials could be inadvertently blown onto plants or objects that are not to be sprayed.
• The plant sprayer can be used with the spray lance in the bracket or on the handle of the spray lance.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

CAUTION!
Risk of injury

• Contact with harmful spraying materials can result in injuries.

• Wear suitable personal protective equipment at all times during maintenance, care and cleaning work!

• Do not get the appliance wet or expose it to moisture. Do not spray with water.

• After every use, remove the rechargeable battery and store in a dry place.

• Inspect the inside and outside of the appliance and all the components before and after
  every use for:

  • Leaks
  • Cracked or worn hoses
  • Clogged nozzles
  • Missing or damaged parts
  • Do not use flammable solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
  • Has the appliance been repaired before using it again?
  • Regularly check the machine is in good working order.
  • Inspect the electrical contacts of the appliance for corrosion, clean with a fine wire brush if necessary, and then spray with a contact spray.
  • Empty the tank via the filler neck before cleaning. Wash out the appliance with clean water after
    every use.

TRANSPORT
Before transporting, carry out the following measures:

1. Switch off the appliance.
2.  Remove the rechargeable battery from the appliance.
3. Pack the battery properly.
   NOTE
   The nominal energy of the rechargeable battery is less than 100 Wh. Therefore, heed the following transport instructions

The Li-ion rechargeable battery contained in the appliance is subject to the hazardous goods law, but can be transported under simplified conditions:

• The undamaged rechargeable battery can be transported on public roads by the private user without further conditions provided it is packaged for retail sale and the transport serves personal purposes. The weight limits for batteries sent separately must be observed:
• Max. 30 kg total weight per package when transported by road, rail, and water

No upper limit for air transport but max. 2 pieces per package

• If damage to the battery (e.g. due to the appliance falling) is suspected, transport is not permissible.
• Commercial users who carry out the transport in connection with their main activity (e.g. delivery from and to building sites, or demonstrations) can also take advantage of this simplification.
• In both cases, it is essential to take the mandatory precautions mentioned above to prevent any leakage of the contents. In other cases, it is essential to comply with the regulations of the hazardous goods law. In the case of non-compliance, severe penalties can be imposed on the sender and possibly the transporter. Additional notes on transport and shipment
• Only transport or ship lithium-ion rechargeable batteries in an undamaged state.
• Secure the appliance in such a way as to prevent it from starting to operate inadvertently during transport.
• Secure the appliance with strong outer packaging (cardboard shipment box). Use the manufacturer’s original packaging if possible.
• Ensure correct identification and documentation of the consignment during transport or dispatch (e.g. by parcel or forwarding):
• When transporting by road, rail, and water, a warning sticker must be applied to the packaging when the battery/batteries accompany the appliance. No warning sticker is necessary if the battery/batteries are installed or fitted into the appliance, since the outer packaging/original packaging must already comply with specific regulations.
• A warning sticker must always be placed on the packaging when transporting by air. The maximum weight limits for batteries sent together with the appliance must be observed: max. 5 kg battery weight per package and max. 2 pieces per package, if the battery/batteries are accompanying the appliance.
• Please find out in advance whether transport is possible with the selected service provider, and show your shipment. We recommend involving a hazardous goods specialist in the preparation of the shipment. Please heed any other national regulations

STORAGE
Thoroughly clean the appliance after each use and – if present – attach all covers. Store the appliance in a dry, lockable place out of the reach of children

• Do not store chemicals in the tank.
• Inspect all parts for leaks after every use.

DANGER!
The danger of explosion and fire! Persons will be fatally or severely injured if the rechargeable battery explodes because it was stored in front of naked flames or heat sources. Store the rechargeable battery in cool and dry conditions, but not in front of naked flames or heat sources.

NOTE
When charging, the rechargeable battery is protected from overcharging due to automatic detection of the charge status and thus can remain connected to the charging unit for some time, but not permanently. Store the battery in a dry, frost-free place at the prescribed storage temperature (see operating instructions for the battery) and with a charge of approx. 40 – 60 %. Due to the risk of short-circuit, do not store the battery near metallic or acid- containing objects. Recharge the rechargeable battery for approx. 2 hours after approx. 6 months’ storage.

DISPOSAL

• Information on the German Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElectroG)
• Electrical and electronic appliances do not belong in household waste but should be collected and disposed of separately.
• Used batteries or rechargeable batteries that are not installed permanently in the old appliance must be removed before disposal. Their disposal is regulated by the battery law.
• Owners or users of electrical and electronic appliances are obliged by law to return them after use.
• The end user bears personal responsibility for deleting his personal data from the old appliance to be disposed of. The symbol of the crossed-through rubbish bin means that electrical and electronic appliances may not be disposed of in the household rubbish. Electrical and electronic appliances can be handed in at the following places at no charge:
• Public service disposal or collection points (e.g. municipal building yards)
• Points of sale of electrical appliances (stationary online) provided traders are obliged to take them back or offer this voluntarily. These statements only apply to appliances that are installed and sold in the countries of the European Union and are subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU. Different provisions may apply to the disposal of electrical and electronic appliances in countries outside the European Union. Information on the German Battery Act (BattG)
• Used batteries and rechargeable batteries do not belong in household waste but should be collected and disposed of separately. For the safe removal of batteries or rechargeable batteries from the electrical appliance and for information on their type or chemical system, follow the further information within the operating or installation instructions.

Owners or users of batteries and rechargeable batteries are obliged by law to return them after use. Return is limited to the handover of customary household quantities. Used batteries can contain harmful substances or heavy metals that can cause damage to the environment and human health. Reuse of the used batteries and use of the resources contained therein contributes to the protection of these two essential commodities. The symbol of the crossed- through rubbish bin means that batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be disposed of in household rubbish. In addition, if the symbol Hg, Cd, or Pb appears under the rubbish bin, this stands for the following:

• Hg: Battery contains more than 0.0005 % Mercury
• Cd: Battery contains more than 0.002 % cadmium
• Pb: Battery contains more than 0.004 % lead
• Rechargeable batteries and batteries can be handed in at the following places at no charge:
• Public service disposal or collection points (e.g. municipal building yards)
• Points of sale of batteries and rechargeable batteries
• Disposal points of the common take-back system for the used batteries of appliances
• Disposal point of the manufacturer (if not a member of the common take-back system)  These statements apply only to rechargeable batteries and batteries that are sold in the countries of the European Union and that are subject to European Directive 2006/66/EU. Different provisions can apply to the disposal of rechargeable batteries and batteries in countries outside the European Union.

GUARANTEE

We will resolve any material or manufacturing faults on the appliance during the legal warranty period for claims relating to faults, in accordance with our choice either to repair or replace. The legal warranty period is determined by the legislation of the country in which the appliance was purchased. Our warranty promise applies only if:

• These operating instructions are heeded

• The appliance is handled correctly

• Original spare parts have been used

• The warranty becomes void in the case of:

  • Unauthorized repair attempts

  • Unauthorized technical modifications

  • Non-intended use
    The guarantee excludes:

  • Paint damage that can be attributed to normal wear and tear

  • Wear parts that are marked with a frame xxxxxx (x) on the spare parts card

The guarantee period commences with a purchase by the first end user. The date on the proof of purchase is decisive. In the event of a guarantee claim, please take this guarantee declaration and the original proof of purchase, and contact your dealer or the nearest authorized customer service center. This statement does not affect the purchaser’s statutory claims for defects against the vendor.
