FAQs
There is a noticeable humm in these lights. Anyone else have this issue? Wondering if mine are defective.
I have my lights (6″ Lumary ultra Slim x 8 fixtures) now since June – so 5 months. I have them on a circuit with other types of Smart Bulbs a smart ceiling fan and a wall outlet that has several low power items plugged in.
Will these work with Smart Life?
That’s what I use. Works like a charm. Better than the lumary app.
Other answers confirms that i can use app to dim the lights but can i use voice assistant such as alexa to dim the lights?
Yes Alexa can issue commands to execute functions on these lights. Note also almost all of the lights will work with the same app. I use “Lumary” which is a very nice interface and even allows music sync in lights that support it.
Do I have to use a ground wire?
Not sure. I did. These reset to white every time internet glitches. Pain to log back in to reset. Great otherwise.
Can a lite be in more than one group? in other words, can lite #1 be in group a and group b at the same time?
Yes, it can be in more than one group.
Are these compatible with SmartThings?
No they are not.
Can apple home control these lights as well?
You can only control them with their propetotory App, which you then have to link. There is a “Skill” for Alexa. You have to see if there is the same for Apple or Google Nest.
Can these be dimmed with a regular dimmer switch? I already have kasa smart dimmer switches I’d like to reuse.
