NEXSENS MCIL-6 CABLE ASSEMBLIES
Overview: The NexSens MCIL-6 flying lead cable assemblies come as a female or male wet mateable cable with a locking sleeve available for interfacing with a variety of water quality instruments.
Note: The wire colors on both cable styles (male or female) match the same pin; however, their respective pin arrangements are different (Reference Figure 2 & Figure 3). Ensure to follow the pin arrangement of the purchased cable.
Wiring Pinouts
- MCIL-6-FS-x Wiring Pinout: Figure 2 shows the pinout for the male style cable.
- MCIL-6-MP-x Wiring Pinout: Figure 3 shows the pinout for the female style cable.

Product Usage Instructions: To use the NexSens MCIL-6 cable assembly, follow the steps below:
- Select the appropriate cable assembly style (male or female) based on the instrument you are interfacing with.
- Refer to the wiring pinout diagrams (Figure 2 or Figure 3) to ensure that you are using the correct pin arrangement for your cable assembly style.
- Connect the appropriate wires from your instrument to the corresponding pins on the cable assembly.
- If using a male style cable assembly, use the locking sleeve to secure the connection with the female style cable assembly.
- If using a female style cable assembly, ensure that the connection is properly seated and tightened before use.
