Please read this manual before using the product.
nJoy is a brand of power and backup protection products that create
solutions for multiple levels of environment complexity, residential to
industrial.
This UPS will protect your electronic equipment from physical damage and will
provide emergency battery backup power to prevent data loss in the event of
power problems.

Product Overview
Renton is a line-interactive UPS with auto-restart function and LED indicators for you to monitor the status at every moment. Renton packs high protection in a compact device with 4 Schuko outlets connected to the internal battery and a fast-charge USB* Type-C 30W that is ideal for achieving short charging times for your gadgets. Renton fits perfectly in any house and its built in AVR will protect devices from power surges.

Installation
The UPS can protect your equipment from all power problems such as surge,
spikes, blackouts and brownouts. When AC power is present and the ON/OFF
button is turned ON, the UPS is always charging the battery and provides power
to the equipment from AC line directly. A reliable built-in battery can
provide stable power in order for you to complete your work, save your data
and safely shut down your system when there is a utility power blackout.
3.1 Connecting your equipment and first usage
The UPS is simple to operate and install. Please read the following steps
before connecting any equipment’s to this UPS:
Step 1. Connect the UPS to a grounded AC power outlets.
Step 2. Please turn ON the ON/OFF button and charge the battery at least
8 hours for a full load before you start to use the UPS.
Step 3. Plug your PC or peripheral equipment (printer, TV, scanner, fax,
speakers etc.) into the power outlets of the UPS (these will provide emergency
battery backup power during mains blackouts as well as surge protection from
surges and spikes).
3.2 Positioning
For optimal ventilation of the UPS, please place it 15cm distance from any
wall or object

Operation

Press the button for 2 seconds to turn the UPS ON/OFF
1.1Press the button for 3 seconds to turn the Buzzer Alarm ON/OFF -
LED Indicators
These LEDs work in different combinations under different UPS statuses, please refer to “LED INDICATORS” section. -
USB Charger Ports-Type C(650 Plus only)
Provides 5V/3A 9V/3A 15V/2A to charge external batteries. -
USB Charger Ports-Type A(650 Plus only)
Provide 5V/3A 9V/2A 12V/1.5A to charge external batteries. -
Battery Backup Outlets
Provide battery backup and surge protection. They ensure power is provided to connected equipment over a period of time during a power failure. -

Important Safety Warnings
Place the UPS indoors in an area that has adequate airflow and no excessive
dust. Do NOT allow the UPS to be exposed to moisture, rain, excessive heat or
direct sunlight.
The use of the UPS is NOT recommended in life support applications where
failure of this equipment can reasonably be expected or when its safety or
effectiveness could be affected scientifically.
Do not plug the UPS input into its own output.
Please always disconnect the input power cord from the wall outlet before
replacing the battery.
Do NOT dispose of the battery in a fire. The battery may explode.
Do NOT open or damage the battery. It contains an electrolyte that is toxic
and harmful to the skin and eyes.
Proper disposal of the battery is required. Please follow your local
laws/regulations regarding battery disposals.
Use tools with insulated handles to replace the battery to avoid personal
injury. Due to energy hazard, please remove wrist watches and hand jewelry’s
when replacing the battery.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Solutions |
---|---|---|
The UPS does not perform expected runtime | Batteries are not fully charged. |
Recharge the battery by leaving the UPS plugged in.
Battery is slightly worn out.| Contact Technical Support.
The UPS will not turn on.| The on/off button is designed to prevent damage by
rapidly turning it off and on.| Turn the UPS off. Wait 10 seconds and then
turn the UPS on.
The unit is not connected to an AC outlet.| The unit must be connected to a
230Vac 50/60Hz outlet.
The battery is worn out.| Contact Technical Support.
Mechanical problem.| Contact Technical Support.
Outlets do not provide power to equipment| Batteries are discharged| Allow the
unit to recharge for at least 8 hours.
Unit has been damaged by a surge or spike.| Contact Technical Support.
Alarm sounding| Utility Failure| The audible alarm can be turned OFF or ON by
quickly pressing the POWER button twice. The default setting for the alarm is
ON.
Note: The UPS is making 2 short beeps when the alarm is turned OFF and 1
short beep when is turned back ON.
Disposal of Old Electrical & Electronic Equipment
(Applicable in the European Union and other European countries with separate
collection systems)
