Caution: Risk of hearing damage
Using headphones at extremely high volume levels can cause permanent damage to
the hearing. Reduce the volume before connecting the earphones. You can then
increase it to a comfortable level.
Caution: Disconnecting from the mains power
- The device still uses electricity in standby mode. In order to prevent the device using any electricity, the power plug must be pulled out from the mains socket. In order to be able to pull out the power plug quickly in the event of an emergency, the device must be positioned to guarantee free access to the mains socket.
- If you do not plan to use the device for an extended period, for example, when you go on holiday, pull out the power plug from the mains socket. This eliminates any fire risks. The same applies in the event of thunderstorms Disconnect the device from the mains and disconnect the antenna plug.
Warning: Batteries
- Risk of death! Store batteries out of the reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical attention immediately!
- Make sure that batteries are always inserted with the correct polarity.
- Do not attempt to recharge the batteries and do not throw the batteries into a fire.
- Do not mix battery types (old and new or carbon and alkaline, etc.).
- Keep the batteries away from heat and direct sunlight (even when they are in the remote control). Otherwise, there could be a risk of explosion or fire!
- Do not attempt to open or modify the batteries. Leaking battery acid can cause injuries. If it comes into contact with the skin or eyes, rinse immediately with lots of water and seek immediate medical assistance.
- Remove any batteries which have leaked immediately. Use suitable gloves to prevent injuries.
- If you do not plan to use the device for an extended period, please remove the batteries. Improper use could cause explosions or leaks.
Caution: Cables
Always handle the cables by the connector and do not pull on the cables
themselves. Make sure that you never place heavy objects on the cables and do
not place the device itself on a cable. Never tie a knot in a cable or bend
it, especially near the plug and at the connection jack, and never tie it to
other cables. All cables must be laid so that nobody can trip over them or be
obstructed by them. When using adapters or extension cables, make sure that
they comply with the applicable safety standards. Do not try to open or modify
the cable.
Warning: Screen
Do not apply any pressure to the screen and keep sharp objects away from the
surface of the screen. A broken screen represents a risk of injury. Wear
gloves to collect the broken parts and consult the customer services
department where necessary. If any liquids escape from the broken display,
wipe them carefully with a dry cloth.
Where safety gloves while doing so and note the following:
- If the fluid is swallowed, first rinse the mouth and throat out with water and then drink plenty of water. Contact a doctor immediately!
- If the fluid gets into the eye, rinse it out with plenty of clean water. Contact a doctor immediately or seek medical attention.
- If comes into contact with the skin, wipe it off with a clean cloth and rinse with plenty of clean water. Consult a doctor where applicable! Dispose of the broken screen according to local environmental regulations.
Warning: Repairs Never open the housing of the device. Failure to do so
could result in potentially fatal electrocution.
Repairs are required if this device has fallen or otherwise been damaged in
any way, for example, if the device housing is damaged, if liquids or objects
have penetrated the device or if it has been exposed to rain or moisture.
Repairs are also required if the device is not working perfectly. If smoke
develops or the device produces unusual noises or smells, power it off
immediately and disconnect it from the mains power. If this occurs, the device
should not be used before it has been inspected by authorised service
personnel. All repair work must be carried out by qualified personnel.
Warning: Cleaning Make sure the device is unplugged from the mains power
before cleaning. Failure to do so could result in potentially fatal
electrocution. Only use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning and never use any
corrosive liquids (alkalis, assets, thinners, solvents, etc.).
It is recommended not to use the product in places where there is oil smoke or steam that may damage the material of this product. The product is in standby mode under the network function, and it takes 30 minutes to enter the stable state.
Place of installation and operating environment
The following measures support the proper functioning of the device and extend
its service life:
- Only position the device on a stable, flat surface and do not place any objects on the device. The device is suitable not for use in rooms with a high temperature or humidity (e.g. bathrooms) or with high levels of dust (e.g. workshops).
- The device is very large and heavy. It must only be placed on fitted furniture which is sufficiently strong to support it and wide enough that the device does not protrude beyond the edges of the furniture. Alternatively, it can be wall-mounted. To do this, use a suitable mounting frame and follow the recommendations of the manufacturer.
- Make sure there is free circulation of air (do not place the device on shelves, on a thick carpet, on a bed, or anywhere that obstructs the ventilation slots, and leave at least 10 cm clearance on all sides).
- Do not expose the device to direct heat sources (e.g. heaters).
- Do not expose the device to direct sunlight or bright artificial light.
- Avoid contact with water sprays or drips and aggressive fluids and never operate the device near water. It is especially important that it is never immersed (do not place any recipients containing liquids, such as drinks or vases, on or near the device).
- Never place the device in the immediate vicinity of magnetic fields (e.g. loud-speakers).
- CAUTION! Keep candles and open flames away from this product at all times in order to avoid the risk of fire.
- Do not allow foreign bodies to penetrate into the device.
- Do not subject the device to major temperature fluctuations, as this can cause condensation and short-circuits.
- Do not subject the device to excessive shocks or vibrations.
- Only connect the TV set to a properly installed, easily accessible mains socket whose mains voltage corresponds to that on the rating plate.
2.1 Intended use of the product
This is a consumer electronics device. It is used to receive TV via an
antenna, satellite antenna or cable TV network and to play back multimedia
files from the Internet and USB mass storage devices. It may only be used for
private purposes and not for industrial or commercial applications. It is not
intended for medical, life-saving or life-preserving applications. Only use
connecting cables and external devices which are compatible with the product
in terms of safety, electromagnetic compatibility and shielding.
CE This device fulfils all the standards and directives required for CE
Conformity. In the case of unauthorised modification or conversion of the
device, compliance with these standards is no longer guaranteed. The
manufacturer is not liable for any damage or faults caused as a result.
Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use this device
for purposes other than those indicated and do not modify it in any way.
Always comply with the regulations and laws of the country in which you are
operating the device.
2.2 Explanation of other symbols
The following symbols can be found on the device itself:
This symbol means there is potentially life-threatening high voltage inside
the device. For this reason, you should never open the housing. There are no
user serviceable parts inside.
Protection Class Il: This symbol means that the TV set has double insulation
and is subject to the electrotechnical protection Class II.
This symbol means that the TV set supports Dolby Audio technology for
improved sound output.
This symbol means the TV set must be connected to an alternating current
network.
This symbol means that the remote control is supplied with direct current.

Thank you for purchasing this Smart TV. This elegant device is a stylish, modern piece for any living room, offering amazingly sharp playback of TV and multimedia content in widescreen. Its built-in speakers boost powerful stereo sound, and if you have a PC, you can even use it as PC monitor.

Getting started
5.1 Fitting the stand
Before you can install your TV set, you need to fit the stand.
Alternatively, you can mount it on the wall. For detailed information see
enclosed instructions “Installation Guide of Base Stand”. A Phillips
screwdriver is needed to perform the installation.
5.2 Setting up the TV set
Place your TV set on a flat, stable surface (e.g. a table or a specially
designed TV stand). Make sure that all cables are laid simply and safely and
do not represent a trip hazard. The device must be connected to a mains socket
using the mains cable. This mains socket must be easily accessible so that the
mains plug can be removed immediately in the event of an emergency.
5.3 Fitting the batteries into the remote control

Turn the remote control over with its underside facing upwards, insert a finger into the recess marked with an arrow 0, and push the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow. Remove the battery compartment cover.

Insert the batteries supplied (size AAA, 1.5 V) into the remote control. Make sure that you insert the batteries correctly with the polarity as shown inside the battery compartment.

Replace the battery compartment cover and push in the opposite direction to the arrow until it clicks into place.
Caution: Remove the batteries from the remote control if you are not going to use the device for an extended period of time. Otherwise, the remote control can be damaged by leaking battery acid.
Controls and connections
On the following pages, you can find diagrams of the different controls and
displays on your TV. The individual elements are numbered in these diagrams.
The sections contain functional descriptions which refer to these numbers.
Caution: Before connecting or disconnecting any cables, switch off all
related devices (also the TV). Otherwise you could damage the devices.
- Common Interface slot
- USB2.0: USB port. Connect a USB storage device for multimedia file playback.
- ANT1: For connecting the external antenna
ANT2: For connecting a satellite antenna (ANT 2) (SATELLITE)
HDMI: HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) input
HDMI1 supports HDCP, CEC, and ARC.
AV IN: AV audio/video signal input
DIGITAL AUDIO OUT: Connect to an external digital audio device.
LAN: Local area network (LAN) port. Connect a LAN cable to this port for connecting to the Network.

Press the direction buttons to select menu options or settings. OK button:

Using the remote control
- Point the remote control at the remote control sensor on the front of the device. Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote control and the sensor.
- Press the desired button on the remote control
The remote control works at a range of up to 6 m. When using the remote
control to control the TV set, you should be at a maximum angle of 30° from
the front of the TV set, if possible. You should also make sure that there are
no sources of bright light or even sunlight on the remote control sensor.
If the device stops responding to the re mote control, the button or function
is not supported by the current setting or the batteries in the remote control
are empty. In this case, replace the batteries with new ones of the same type.
Connecting antenna, Internet and external devices
7.1 Connecting the TV antenna or cable TV
You can connect the cable from your indoor or outdoor antenna or cable TV to
the antenna socket ANT1.
To switch to TV reception, press the Source button repeatedly to select
thesignal source “TV.”
7.2 Connecting the satellite antenna
You can connect the cable of your satellite antenna to the ANT 2 SATELLITE
socket.
To switch to satellite reception, select signal source “TV.”
7.3 Connecting the network cable (LAN connection)
**** You can also establish an internet connection via WiFi.
Connect one end of the network cable (Cat. 5 or better) to the network port.
The network cable is not supplied. Connect the other end of the network cable
to a hub or router on your home network.
7.4 Connecting external equipment with HDMI interface
HDMI is the abbreviation for “High Definition Multimedia Interface” and allows
the digital transmission of both audio and video signals over the same cable.
This connection offers the best playback quality and is the right choice for
fans of HD content. You can connect up to HDMI devices to your TV set. If you
wish to connect an ARC-compatible HDMI device (e.g. a home cinema), you need
to use socket HDMI 1. To transmit the audio via ARC you also have to enable
the “ARC” option in “Setting”, “System”, “CEC”.
- Connect the output from a playback device, e.g. an HDMI-compliant computer or Blu-ray player, to one of the HDMI inputs on the TV. To do this, you will need an HDMI cable (not supplied).

7.5 Connecting a PC
**** Your PC must have an HDMI-compliant graphics card in order to connect to
your TV set. It is not possible to connect a PC with an analogue (VGA) output.
- Use an HDMI cable (not supplied) to connect the output from the graphics card of a PC or laptop to one of the HDMI inputs of the TV. This connection is used to transfer the video and audio from the PC to the TV set.
- In order to play the audio and video signal fed in from the PC on the TV, select the signal source as appropriate.
7.6 Connecting a digital audio system
You can connect your TV set to a digital audio system (e.g. amplifier, home
cinema).
- Connect the plug at the end of a coaxial audio cable (not supplied) to the Digital Audio Out connection on your TV set.
- Connect the other end of the coaxial audio cable to the external device.
7.7 Connecting USB devices
Your TV set has USB 2.0 ports to which you can connect appropriate mass
storage devices (e.g. USB sticks, USB hard drives, smartphones). You can then
play back multimedia files from the USB mass storage devices (photos, videos,
etc.).
If you connect a USB keyboard, you can use it for input and cursor controls of
the Smart TV functions.
7.8 Cl card slot
If you have purchased a subscription for watching scrambled programmes with
Pay TV provider, you can insert the module with the Cl or Cl+ card into this
slot. For more information, please read the documentation supplied with your
Cl card.
Caution! Switch your TV set off before inserting or removing the l
module. Otherwise you could damage the module or the TVset.
7.8.1 Inserting the Cl card
Insert the module with the Cl or Cl+ card into the Cl card slot. Make sure
it is the right way around.
7.8.2 Removing the Cl card
To remove the Cl card, carefully pull it out of the Cl card slot.
The Cl/Cl+ module is initialised after you switch the TV set on. This may take
a little while. You should then be able to view thescrambled channels. If this
is not the case, consult your Pay TV provider to check that the signal has
been enabled for you.
The “Cl Information” menu lets you select the Cl/Cl+ module detected and
adjust further settings.
7.9 Connecting an external device with AV output
Connect external devices (e.g. camcorder, gaming console) via the AV Input
jack directly to your TV by using the cinch standard (red, white and yellow).
- Connect the Mini AV cable supplied to the socket.
- Connect the external device to the sockets of the same colour on the Mini AV cable, using a conventional AV cable if required (not supplied).
- In order to play the audio and video signal fed in from the external device on the TV, select the signal source “AV”.
7.10 Connecting headphones
You can connect headphones or an analogue playback device (e.g. analogue audio
amplifier) to the socket marked with a headphones symbol. Use an audio cable
with a 3.5 mm jack-type plug.
Getting started
8.1 Powering the TV set on and off
Powering on
Check that the TV is in standby mode. This means that the power cable must be
connected to a working power socket. Then press the Power button on the device
or the button on the remote control to turn on the TV.
Powering off
To power off the TV, either press the Power button on the device or press the
© button on the remote control.
Notes:
If you press and hold the Power button or & standby button on the remote
control for short period of time, the TV will go into fully standby mode. When
it is powering on again, the TV will start from the original power on
procedure.
If no input signal is available (no TV reception or no playback from external
devices) the message “Weak or no signal” appears. It is also possible that the
screen stays dark or displays noise.
Usage
9.1 Help function
The Help function offers a lot of information about your TV operation.
– Press the “home button on the remote control. Select ‘Al PONT’ or Apps icon
from the options
– Select ‘Help’ from the options- Select the desired Help topic. You can use
the arrow and OK buttons to make a selection. Please refer to the help on the
TV for details.
Note: This pairing method only supports the original remote control and
the TV, and does not support the remote control made by other manufacturers

Energy Options
Saving Mode: Reduce power consumption when you are not using the device.
Chromecast Built-in: Make this device available to Google Cast even in standby
mode. Wake on Network Only: Make this device available only to Wake on Network
in standby mode. Tuner Mode
Before do the scan, user can choose the “Tuner Mode’ first. It has below
options for choose. Antenna (default value), Cable. Satellite
Notes: Please refer to section 9.3 Search Desk.
9.3 Channel scan
This section describes how to search and store channels automatically. This
may be done in any of the cases below:
– you have skipped the channel installation step in the initial setup;
– you are prompted that there are no channels in TV mode;
– you want to update channels list.
Channel search in Antenna mode

Press & buttons (3) to open the “TV options” menu.

Press < and > arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Settings” option and press OK si buttons (15) to display the “Settings” submenu.

Press /\ and \V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Channel” option and press OK buttons (15) to display the “Channel” submenu.

When user click on Channel Scan, the auto scan will be started. The page is displayed as below
Channel search in Cable mode
a) Choose operator as shown in the figure below, you can choose the operator
search method in your country, Such as
UPC:
Please make sure that the correct operator parameters are set before searching
the channel. You can get them from the member of operator. After finishing
setting Frequency and Network ID, focus on Scan Item and press OK buttons (15)
to start scan.
b) If we don’t have operator to choose, Set Scan Mode to Full, change focus on
Scan, and then press OK buttons (15) to start scan. It will do full scanning
of digital and analog channels.As shown:
Select Satellite type then select Channels
a) Preferred Satellite
In the “Channel Installation Mode” submenu, select Preferred Satellite type,
and then select Channels.
Choose operators, You can choose the operators search in your country, Press >
arrow buttons (15) Channels—Satellite Re-scan—Next, there will be some
operators, select one operator. Some default satellites will be showing.
Select Next to start scan.
b) General Satellite If you cannot find your preferred operator, select
General Satellite, Press > arrow buttons (15) , Channels—Satellite
Note:
Steps to search for channels by Unicable: open the option menu, select
Satellite Re-scan->More->Unicable I or Unicable II. Set correct Tuner and
Frequency parameters, then select Next and corresponding satellite, then start
searching. For Tuner and Frequency, please consult the Unicable equipment
supplier.
9.4 Satellite Add
Satellite Add is used to add a satellite in the database.
The Satellite Add option is not selectable by default. The user needs to go to
Satellite Re-scan—More to select the satellite device type, then return to the
Channels page, select Satellite Add to add a satellite, Press OK buttons (15)
to set detail info for satellite.
Satellite Status: This item is not allowed to modify when user select
Preferred satellite, but bllowed in General satellite. This is used to set the
Status (on, off) of the selected satellite.
Satellite Selection: cannot be set by user
Scan Mode: Scan Mode: Press the < and > arrow buttons (15) to select the scan
mode.(Network/Full)
Scan Type: Scans for all active broadcast station channels and stores them in
the
TV. (All/Only Encrypted Channels/ Only Free Channels )
Store Type: Press the < and > arrow buttons (15) to select theStore Type.(
All/OnlyDigital
Channels/ Only Radio Channels)
LNB Configurations
– LNB Power: User can set LNB power state to on or off.
– LNB Frequency: One parameter of satellite, the some specific values
(Universal, 5150 5750 etc.) are provided for user to select by pressing“enter”
key.
– Tone 22KHz: This item is used to Tone 22Khz parameter of satellite, it
is allowed to edit only when he LNB Frequency value select 5150 value and
below items value.
Transponder: This item include 3 sub items named Frequency, Symbol Rate
and Polarization. User can modify these values by input manual (Frequency,
Symbol Rate) or pressing”enter” key (Polarization).
Signal Quality: The value between 0 and 100 means current Signal Quality.
Signal Level: The value between 0 and 100 means current Signal Level.
9.5 Satellite Manual Tuning
Satellite Manual Tuning is similar to Single RF Scan of Antenna. It is used to
scan only one satellite by setting the Transponder of selected satellite. In
this condition of scanning, user is only allowed to modify Transponder, other
items is disabled.
9.6 Editing Channels
Swaping channels
This option is only available when LCN off.
To swap two channels, we can use channel swap function.
- Press % buttons (3) to open the “TV options” menu.
- Press < and > arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Settings” option and press OK buttons (15) to display the “Settings” submenu.
- Press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Channel” option and press OK buttons (15) to display the “Channel” submenu.
- Press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Channels” option and press OK buttons (15) to get in subpage.
- Press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Channel Swap” option and press OK buttons (15) to display the “Channel Swap” page.
- Press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control and press OK buttons (15) to select two channels which you want to swap.
Skipping channels
- In the “Channels” submenu, press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the “Channel Skip” option and
- press OK buttons (15) to display the “Channel Skip” page.
- Press OK buttons (15) on the remote control to mark it. An icon appears next to the channel name.
- From now on, when switching channels, this channel will be skipped.
To make the channel available again for normal channel switching, repeat the above steps.
Channel list
These days, the range of TV channels is so massive that the Channel list
normally contains several hundred channels. It is often difficult or time-
consuming to find a specific channel. The search function makes it easier for
you to find a specific channel:
- Open the channel list: press the OK buttons (15) to show channel list.
- Press GREEN. This shows more operation for channel list.
- Select the “Find” using /\ and V arrow buttons (15) and OK buttons (15). An input Dialog will display on screen. Enter channel number or channel name, highlight the confirmation icon, and then press OK buttons (15). TV will find out the channels.
- Select the “Sort” using /\ and V arrow buttons (15) and OK buttons (15)..
- Press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the item and press OK buttons (15), this page will return to channel list and the channel will list as the order you select. Press YELLOW. This shows Select Type. Filter page will be shown.
Press /\ and V arrow buttons (15) on the remote control, select the item and press OK buttons (15), this page will return to rchannel list and the channel will list by the filter you select.
9.7 Defining favorite channels
This is how to add channels to the Favorites list or remove them:
- Press OK buttons (15) to show channel list.
- Press BLUE key to add or remove favorite channel.
- Press YELLOW-— Select Type—favorites to change current page to favorites list.

9.9 Connecting Google Home to the TV
- On the homepage of the mobile phone, open Google Home application
- Select the corresponding Device name in the devices list.
- Click “cast my screen”
- Choose “Cast screen”
- Click “Start now’ to confirm again
9.10 Share photos, music and videos to TV
- Open the video, photo album, music and other applications on your mobile phone, find and click the key SJ;
- Select the corresponding Device name in the pop-up list.
- By the handheld device, select photos, music, and video to play and then shares them on the TV.
Some of the above signal sources open chargeable online streaming services. Further information on subscriptions nand prices can be found on the relevant provider websites.
9.12 Using EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
EPG is an on-screen guide that displays scheduled digital TV program. You can
navigate, select and view programs.
Note: The DTV EPG does not require an internet connection.
-To use the DTV EPG, Press EPG button on the remote control, the Program Guide menu will appear, which allows you to get information about the current or future program playing on each channel. Navigate through the different programs using the arrow button son the remote control.
-Use the related color buttons shown at the bottom of the screen to view EPG.
-It might have no information to be displayed. Please change channel first and TV can get proper EPG information from TV signal when the channel is on.
9.13 Teletext
Teletext is a one-way, or non-interactive, system for transmission of text and
graphics via broadcasting or cable for display on a television set. A decoder
or microchip resident in the TV set is needed to extract the teletext
information.
Teletext can be transmitted over one-way cable or over-the-air broadcasting
via radio or television. In the case of TV, it can occupy a full channel or be
encoded in the vertical blanking interval, or VBL.
Teletext Information
Teletext is a text (level 1.5) data which is carried in digital DVBT and
analog network. The original concept is an electronic magazine based on
current service (program, channel) broadcasted from headed.
Normally the Teletext stream is always open and is caching pages when service
is started; in other
words Teletext engine is always running when video is started; even the
Teletext AP is hidden, the
Teletext engine is running.
Show: Press the js button (10) to display the Teletext.
Exit: Press the EXIT button exit Teletext.
Note: When current channel does not have Teletext,a toast will show the
message “No Teletext” as a reminder.
*Digital Teletext Language: It’s designed to show the initial page number of teletext, which means different selection leads to different initial page number.
Decoding Page Language: You can select a font to your own preference, and the
teletext page will show in correspondin font style.
- TTX Presentation Level: This option defines system components whichare to be shown of Teletext data.
9.14 HbbTV
HbbTV (Hybrid broadcast broadband TV) is a service offered by certain
broadcasters and available
only on some digital TV channels. HbbTV delivers interactive television over
broadband Intemet. These interactive features are added to and enrich the
normal digital programs, and include services such as digital
teletext,electronic program guide, games, voting, specific information related
to the current program, interactive advertising, information magazines, catch-
up TV, etc.To use HbbTV please ensure your TV is connected to Internet and
HbbTV is switched on.
There are some HBBTV settings, you can check them via“Enter Menu key > Select
Advanced
Options > HBBTV Settings” .
Details:
HBBTV Support: It’s used to control the HBBTV function.
Do Not Track/Cookie Settings/Persistent Storage/Block Tracking Sites/Device ID/Reset Device ID:
These are all HBBTV browser settings.
9.15 TV reception
The TV allows you to watch digital and analogue TV programs via an outdoor or
indoor antenna, cable and satellite. It also allows you to receive digital
radio stations and data channels. To do so, connect the corresponding antenna
cable to one of the ANT1 or
ANT2 (SATELLITE) sockets on the interface connector panel A on the back of the
TV. When using the device for the first time you must program the channels or
perform an automatic channel search. Normally, this forms part of the setup
process in the First-
time Setup Wizard.
In Germany and many other countries in Europe, TV channels are now only
transmitted in digital. So it is possible that no analogue TV channels can be
received via an antenna.
9.16 HDMI signal source
Caution: Power your TV set and the external device you wish to connect off
before connecting the cables, otherwise you could damage the devices.
You can connect up to HDMI devices to your TV set. HDMI is the abbreviation
for “High Definition Multimedia Interface” and the digital transmission of
both audio and video signals over the same cable.
The HDMI1 port also supports the ARC function, which provides the option of
Settings–>Device Preferences–>Inputs– >HDMI control.

Connect the external device to the TV set using a conventional HDMI cable (not supplied).
Please note that the cable must be compatible for the desired application. For instance, use a cable of version 1.4/2.2 for ARC CEC or a cable of version 2.0 for Ultra HD. -
Open the Live TV App, Press the Source button ( 8) to display the signal source selection menu. select the signal source you require HDMI, and confirm by pressing the OK button (15).

Start playback on the connected device.
9.17 Using the TV set as a PC monitor
- Your PC must have an HDMI-compliant graphics card in order to connect to your TV set. It is not possible to connect a PC with an analogue (VGA) output.
Caution: Power your TV set and the PC off before connecting the cables, otherwise you could damage the devices.
Connect the output from the graphics card of your PC with one of the HDMI
ports on the TV. To do this, you will need an HDMI cable (not supplied).
9.18 AV signal source
You can connect a device with AV output (e.g. an analogue video camera, a
video recorder) to your TV set.
Caution: Power your TV set and the external device you wish to connect
off before connecting the cables, otherwise 1 f \ you could damage the
devices.
- Connect the Mini AV cable supplied to the socket..
- Connect the external device to the sockets of the same colour on the Mini AV cable, using a conventional AV cable if required (not supplied).
- Open the Live TV App, Press the Source button ( 8 ) to display the signal source selection menu. Press the /\ /V ,
arrow buttons (15), select AV item and press the OK button (15). - Start playback on the connected device.
9.19 USB signal source (playback of multimedia files)
You can connect compatible USB devices to your TV set in order to play back
supported multimedia files (e.g. photos, music) stored on the USB devices.
Press the remote control USB shortcut key or press the home key to enter the
home page and select the Media Player application. Above, there are options to
filter by file type. Below, you can see the selected folder on the USB mass
storage device (initially, you can only see the root folder of the device
itself)
You do not necessarily need to power off your TV set to connect or disconnect
a USB mass storage device.
Menus
TV Options
Your TV has various menus which you can use to adapt the TV set to your
individual requirements. You can press the ©} button (3) icon on home screen
to access the Settings Menu.
Inputs: List of inputs status.Connected and standby input status will be
displayed separately.
Picture: Provides video adjustment feature for users.It allows users to
adjust the image or picture quality so that users can enjoy
watching Tv. User can press up/Down key to select the” Picture Function”
that want to adjust.
Sound: Locate settings for sound balance, speakers, digital output, SPDIF
and more in this submenu.
Power
– Sleep Timer: Sleep Timer switches the TV to standby after a defined
period of time. To cancel the Sleep Timer, set to “Off”.
– Picture off: Refer to page 14 description for details.
– Switch-Off Timer: You could set fixed time that counts from TV power on. to
make TV power off.
– No-Signal Auto Power-Off: You could set time to power off TV. If TV stayed
in no signal state, TV would power off after time of No Signal Auto Power Off.
Cl Card: Cl Card information could display on the screen.
Advancd Options
-Setup: You can use this command to start Installation Wizard, which easily guides you through the configuration of the device.
– Blue Mute: Control Blue Mute on/off. The screen become blue at no signal
state if you turned on Blue Mute.
-Default Channel: Set the default boot channel
– HBBTV Settings: You can activate or deactivate the HBBTV Settings functions.
-Subtitle: You can activate or deactivate the display of subtitles here. Not all programmes are broadcast with subtitles.
-Teletext: You could set Teletext language.
-System Information: Display system information
Settings
Network & Internet:
-Wi-Fi: Turn on the Wi-Fi to access the Internet via a wireless network connection. Select an available network, press OK buttons (15) to confirm. A screen will appear prompting you to enter the password if necessary.
-See all: Press OK buttons (15) to view all available network or fewer.
Other options
-Add new network: You can add wireless network.
-Scanning always available: Check to scan for networks even when Wi-Fi is turned off.
– Wow: Wake on wireless network.
– Wol: Wake up the wired network.
– Woc: Wake on Chromecast.
Ethernet
– Not connected: Show whether the Ethernet is connected.
– Proxy settings: You can set the proxy server.
-IP settings: Configure the IP setting for your network connection.
Channel
-Channel: Channel search and advanced options.
– Auto Channel Update: Automatically update channels.
– Channel Update Message: A message alerts you when new channels are found
(default ON).
– Parental Controls: The Parental Controls setting allows you to block content
that is not appropriate for children to watch.
– Open Source Licenses: Click to read the Licenses details.
Accounts & Sign In: Make the most of your TV. Choose account type and sign in
to get new apps, recommendations movies and more.
Apps: You can view details about an app or other item listed. The information
and controls available vary among different types of apps.
Remotes & Accessories: To connect your remote through Bluetooth, before
pairing your Bluetooth devices, make sure they’re in pairing mode.
Device Preferences: See other chapters for more information about these
settings.

Timer
– Auto Power-On Type: Set the type Off, On, Once.
– Auto Power-On Time: Set the clock for the time you want the TV to turn on
automatically.
– Auto Power-Off Type: Set the type Off, On, Once.
– Auto Power-Off Time: Set the clock for the time you want the TV to turn off
automatically.
Language: Adjust the default Language settings for the TV.
Keyboard: Adjust the default settings for the keyboard.
Inputs: You can see the state of devices that the TV connected: Connected
Input, Standby Inputs and Not connected Input etc.
Consumer Electronic Control (CEC)
-HDMI control: Allow the TV to control HDMI devices.
– Device auto power off: Power off HDMI devices with the TV.
-TV auto power on: Power on the TV with HDMI device.
Notes:
HDMI cables must be used to connect HDMI CEC-compatible devices to your TV.
The HDMI CEC feature of the connected device must be turned on.
- If you connect an HDMI device that is not HDMI CEC-compatible, all the HDMI-CEC Control features do not work.
- Depending on the connected HDMI device, the HDMI-CEC Control feature may not work.
– CEC Device List: You will see the CEC device list if the TV access CEC device.
Power
– Sleep Timer: Set the sleep timer to automatically turn the TV off within a
specified time.
Picture off: When you select this option, the screen will not display the
picture. You can only listen the audio. Press button except the © button,
Volume [+/-] buttons and & button to restore operation. Switch off Timer: Set
the timer automatically turn the TV off within a specifed time.
-Switch-Off Timer: You could set fixed time that counts from TV power on to make TV power off.
-No-Signal Auto Power-Off: You can set how long after no signal, the TV will automatically shut down.
Picture: It allows users to adjust the image or picture quality so that users
can enjoy watching TV. User can press Up/Down key to select the “Picture
Function” that want to adjust.
Sound: Provides user settings for sound related. Different customers based on
their product requirement, can apply different audio format supported to
users, but does not support the following functions: Microphone input,
Bluetooth audio output.
Storage: Used to display TV storage information. Device storage show current
data info in system internal shared storage, removed storage show removable
device storage information.
Home screen: Home Screen settings, users can set whether to allow preview
video and audio information, view recorder APPs or view open-source licenses.
Retail Mode: Retail Mode is used to set the mall mode, the user can open the
mall mode and set which content is to be demonstrated in the mode, and the
location of the presentation content. This includes the built-in APP
information of the TV ora preset video file.
Google Assistant: Provider some common settings about Google, indlude
Accounts/View permissions/Searchable apps/Safe
Search filter / Block offensive words/Open source licenses
Chromecast built-in: You can view Open source licenses and Version number.
Screen saver: Provides user setting screen saver and auto standby function;
Provides setting screen saver on time and auto standby time.
Energy saver: Switch the TV to standby after a specified period of time. The
default setting is “Never”.
Location: Your TV can use different modes to access location information. Each
mode uses different sources to estimate the TV’s location.
Usage & diagnostics: Help improve your Android TV by automatically sending
diagnostic and usage data Google. This information won’t be used to identify
you and helps teams working on things like app performance and new Google
features.
Accessibility: Auxiliary settings for user preferences such Audio Type,
Visually Impaired, Captions, High contrast text, Text to speech etc.
Restart: Restart your TV without resetting previous data.
After use
11.1 Cleaning
Warning: Make sure the device is unplugged from the mains power before
cleaning. Otherwise, there is a risk of electrocution!
Never spill or spray any type of liquid into the unit.
Only use a clean, dry cloth for cleaning the casing. Never use aggressive
liquids. When very dirty, use a slightly dampened cloth. Clean the screen with
a special cleaning cloth for screens.
Caution: when you clean the screen, hold the device steady with one hand
and carefully clean the screen with the other. Otherwise, the device could tip
over and get damaged or cause injuries.
11.2 Storage when not in use
If you do not plan to use the device for an extended period of time, unplug
the power cord from the socket and remove batteries from the remote control.
11.3 Transport
If you wish to move the device a short distance, make sure you have another
person to help you. The TV set is very large and heavy. Proceed as follows to
transport the device:

Disconnect the device from the mains.
-
Remove all cables connected to the device.
-
If you wish to move the device outside your building (e.g. when moving house), demount the base and the optional side supports or the mounted wall bracket by reversing the procedure described in the supplied document “Installation Guide of
Base Stand” or in the section “Wall mounting’. -
Pack the TV set up carefully. Take special care to ensure the corners of the casing and the screen are well protected. Use several layers of bubble wrap, for example.

Take the TV set and its accessories to its new location and recommission it. Please note that you may need to carry out a new channel search if its geographical location has changed.
11.4 Disposal
Waste electric and electronic equipment
The crossed out wheelie bin symbol on this product indicates that it is
subject to European Directive 2012/19/EU. All electrical and electronic
devices must be disposed of separately from household waste at official
disposal centres. Proper disposal of old devices prevents damage to the
environment or your health. You can find out more about the proper disposal of
your old device from your local council, the disposal centre or the shop where
you bought the product.
Packaging
Protect the environment and separate the materials in the packaging before
disposing of it. Cardboard packagingcan be taken to paper recycling centres or
public collection points for recycling. Any film or plastic contained in the
to packaging should be taken to your public collection points for disposal.
Batteries
Do not dispose of any batteries in with the domestic waste. Return them to a
collection point for old batteries.
Troubleshooting
You can solve most common problems yourself using the solutions below. If the
problem persists after checking the suggested solutions, please contact your
reseller. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself!
12.1 General problems
The TV set will not switch on.
- Plug the power cable of the TV set into a working mains socket.
- Replace the batteries in the remote control.
- Unplug the plug of the power cable from the mains socket, wait approx. 15 seconds and plug the power cable back in. The device should then work normally. The remote control does not work
The remote control does not work
- Is there an obstruction between the remote control and the sensor on the TV?
- Replace the batteries.
- Make sure that the remote control sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight.
No picture
- Are all the connection cables to external signal sources properly connected?
- Is the connection cable to the external signal source damaged?
- Have you selected the correct signal source on the TV set?
- Could you have switched off the picture from the quick menu? Press any button on the remote control.
12.2 TV reception problems
No picture
- the antenna plugged in properly?
- Is the antenna cable damaged?
- Is the antenna cable plug firmly connected?
- Have you selected the correct signal source on the TV set?
- Have you already executed a channel search at your present location?
Poor picture
- Is the antenna plugged in?
- Adjust the antenna. Tall buildings and geographical obstacles can deteriorate the signal strength or cause ghost pictures.
- Check that the channel is tuned properly
- Adjust the picture settings, such as brightness, colour, sharpness.
No sound
- Is the sound muted? Press the & button.
- Is the volume turned down? Press the 1+ button.
No colour
- Adjust the colour setting.
- Check the programme is broadcast in colour.
- Check that the channel is tuned properly.
12.3 Multimedia playback problems
File is not played back
- Make sure that the USB mass storage device is properly connected to one of the USB ports
- Check that the USB mass storage device contains compatible files.
12.4 Problems with playback from external devices
No sound
- Check that the audio cable is properly connected.
- Check whether the audio cable is damaged.
- Make sure that you have selected the correct signal source on your TV set.
Sound is distorted or humming
- Clean the connector plugs.
- Replace the connection cable to the external device.
12.5 Problems with online services (Smart TV)
If you are using a cable network connection (LAN)
- Check that the network cable is properly connected.
- Check whether the network cable is damaged.
- Check whether you can access the internet from another device on the network (e.g. a PC).
- It is possible that the server for the selected service is temporarily down. Try again a little later.
- Check the network settings on the TV set.

- Check whether you can access the internet from another device on the wireless network (e.g. a smartphone).

Wall-mounting
For mounting your TV with a wall mount bracket please ensure your kit is compatible with one of the following VESA Standards: 200 x 200 mm. The VESA wall-mounting kit is not included in the package. To do this, dismount the stand as follows:
- Power the device off and unplug all cables and connectors. For the following steps you will need a conventional Phillips screwdriver.
- Lie a soft cloth on an empty, level table and carefully place the TV screen side down on it.
- Undo the fastening screws on the stand. See also the Installation Guide of Base Stand (supplied). The stand is now removable.
- Install the VESA wall mount on the back of the monitor. Follow the installation instructions that came with your wall mount kit.
Warning: Make sure that the rawl plugs and screws you use to fit the device to the wall are strong enough to support the weight of the device. Also make sure that the material of the wall it self is strong enough. Otherwise the device could fall and cause damage or injury.
Keep the base, the stand and the screws in a safe place in case you need to reassemble the base again. If necessary, you can also disassemble the base so it takes up less space.

You can use the volume button to wake up the dbx-tv sound mode UI, and use the
up and down keys to switch the dbx-tv sound mode (dbx-tv is off by default).
Preset Sound Mode: Select a preset sound mode to suit the type of content

To disable this feature, select the value Off.
